That did go off but that was due to the amount of time that the job took. I give them a B, just because of timeline and organization. I think it was good value for the Deal.

We had them move our daughter and son in law. The service went well. Three movers came out for the job. They were efficient but careful while moving. They did not take breaks and were hard workers. They were also helpful and nice. I had no problem scheduling the deal.

The service did not go great. I felt pressured into additional services. The deal was not clear to me as to what exactly was being offered. They wanted to charge me travel fees. I would have thought as long as they were able to move me within the 3 hours that no additional fees would be needed. I ended up paying them a little extra for what they did but not as much as what they were looking for. The movers did a nice job. They were very responsive and easy to schedule with.

Started 10 mins early, moving very slow so I thought those 10 mins would not be added to the price. First crew member manager called him, had the manager on speaker and overheard the manager told him to make sure he takes his time, I guess because we were paying by the hour. There were 3 movers for only a small bedroom and living room which took five hours to do. How do you justify that? I had already moved 50% of our things because we were only moving 10 mins away so it was easy. First one person stayed to pack and 2 persons were moving stuff outside. They were moving extremely slow, and I was told by them that they were being professional did not want to break or scratched anything . I understand that but there is a way to be efficient without going at a snails pace. First guy that stayed to pack stink of pot. The Packer asked me if they could play some music and I said yes thinking that would motivate them to move a little faster , but that did not help. I had sit there and listen to rap Long story short, I had to leave to get to my new home because I never estimated that it would take five hour to move a small bedroom and living room. They told me that it will only take them 20 mins to finish up and be at my new home. They arrived and 80 mins after. They arrived to my new residence and the paced dropped even more, I just could not believe it. I had one guy picked up a painting and moved at the pace of a 96 year old man, at this point I just started moving stuff myself so the work could be finished and could leave. I started unpacking my stuff so that they could have the covers back. I placed bags in the rooms, unpacked my mirrors. I felt like I was a member of the moving crew. At the end they tried to charge us $1000. I had to call my husband so he could speak to the manager because noway were they going to get that from me. They wanted to charge for supplies but the contract stated that the supplies were included in the price also they had to use some of my brand new home depot boxes that I had bought my self. We ended up paying them $700 dollars. In the end they threw their garbage on my lawn and drove off very disrespectful. <br />

YOU ASKED THEM TO WRAP ALL YOUR FURNITURE' WITH OUR MOVING BLANKET NOT TO DAMAGE IT . THAT WAS WHY THE GUYS TOOK TIME NOT TO DAMAGE YOUR FURNITURE . ON THE TOP OF IT I MAKE SURE YOU GET $300 BACK THINKING YOU ARE AN ANGIE'S LIST CUSTOMER . I THINK THE TIME THEY SPENT TO MOVE YOU IS A FARE AMOUNT OF TIME. NOBODY HAS NOT TAKE ANY TIME TO GET YOUR MONEY."

The truck and crew arrived right on time at 9:30 a.m. and loaded rather quickly. They took great care, wrapping wooden furniture with pads and sofas in plastic. They arrived in Manhattan around 11:30 and unloaded everything into apartment, finishing by 12:15 p.m. Everything was in perfect condition. Great crew, very friendly very helpful. Clean. We already have a couple more moves for which we will use them. Will highly recommend to anyone who needs a mover in the New York area. <br />

Move-it 4 Less did an excellent job. William and the other two movers called before arriving promptly at 9 AM. They were extremely professional and very careful with all of our belongings. We moved to a house on a hill and they coordinated accordingly to make sure everything was placed in the correct room. We went a half hour over the deal package and was charged as per the deal plus some small supplies. Even after the move when I realized that I was double charged for the extra time due to a signal problem when processing my card, I called Petros and received a refund for the extra charge very promptly. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the service and recommend Move-It 4 less. <br />

They showed up on time. It was a small move, they were okay. I would use them again in the future. They had a reasonable fee as well.

It was awful. First they ask if I would like to take out insurance. They told me that the insurance they has only paid .35 on the dollar. So, I said it was not worth it. They then assured me that they would take real good care of my furniture and nothing would happen to it. Well, they left my foot board standing by the fence and it was windy and it fell down. They picked it up and put it back <br /> and let if fall again and that time the foot board broke. They damaged my kitchen table with big scratches and they damage my head board on my other bedroom set and it is broken. They also did not bring a large enough truck and it took so long to wrap my furniture so they could only do one load. I had to scramble to get people to help me move all the other items out of my home. It was a nightmare. I really should not have paid them because they did more damage to my property. They also scratched my computer screen. This is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. <br /> Callie <br />

"THIS IS TO INFORM YOU THAT ON Feb,23 ,2014 I had a chance to move Mr. [Member Name] . According to the scheduled coupon on Angie's list ,the deal was $279 for a 20 ft moving truck and 3 movers . I suppose Mr. [member] knew the deal and also I text him the detail of the deal before he bought it .I arrived on time at his location.It was a very windy day. There was still snow on his drive way. Mr. [member] had a lot of staff. full set of 3 bed room set, living room set ,40 inches tv and tv stand ,dinning room set plus 2 room of staff on the basement and a lot of boxes . I had to dismantle the 3 beds , dismantled the dinning room table and wrapped all the furniture with the blanket . Also I had to take out the freezers and his musical instrument including an additional couches from the basement .Even though there was one small incidence where the wind blows one of the foot board and got scratched ,all in all I had made to move everything in a good condition . However ,Mr.[member]' "F" rating on my Angie's list review page is unfair . On his review he complained that I brought a small truck to the job . I just would like to ask Mr.[member] that, didn't he see the Angie's list deal that he bought which says a "20ft truck "? why is he blaming me about the size of the truck and give me a bad rating ?Thank you petros"

The movers arrived very close to scheduled time and immediately went to work. Small items were moved very quickly but there were delays with moving larger items because the movers did not fully measure some of them prior to attempting to move. This was an older house with narrow corridors & doorways, and the crew was not used to dealing with such situations. Things went a lot smoother, once we got to the new apartment. <br /> At one point early on, a glass door from a large piece of furniture ended up being broken while being loaded into the truck. I was upset when I realized that my coverage was not sufficient to cover the replacement cost because I did not realize I had the option to purchase increased coverage. The manager was receptive to my concerns and we calmly and quickly worked out a mutually agreeable form of compensation. Unfortunately, we lost quite a bit of time while the crew argued among themselves whose fault this was. <br /> The entire move took over 8 hours to complete, which was quite a bit longer than I hoped. All crew members were visibly tired toward the end but one - William - remained composed and super-friendly through it all. Thanks, William! <br /> <br /> <br />

<p>We purchased the "deal" from Angie's list, for $299 for 3 guys, a truck and 3 hours. Although we described the apartment and furniture when we arranged this, it ended up taking many, many hours. The 3 guys who showed up (20 minutes late), were lovely, and while not exactly fast, they worked steadily and cheerfully, well into the evening. We have no complaints about the actual workers who, again, were careful, extremely pleasant and courteous.</p> <p>However, the owner of the company is another matter. When the guys arrived they looked at the (upright) piano, and told us that they had not brought a "piano board" that would allow them to move the piano and that we had to speak with their boss. The boss got on the phone and told us it was OUR responsibility to have told him in advance that we had a piano, despite the fact that he (the professional mover) set up the appointment with us and that he asked the questions and that he never asked about a piano. We (the consumers) have moved this very piano across the city and across the state with multiple other movers, who never said a word about it one way or the other and happily moved the piano -- how on earth would we know that for this company they needed advance warning? After much back and forth with the incredibly nasty owner, which took a very long time for which we paid (and during which not much moving occurred) the owner said that he would try to do something and would get back to us. Initially he said that maybe he would arrange for a piano board to be dropped off, but this did not happen. His "doing something" ended up being him calling us in the late afternoon with the phone numbers of 3 other moving companies that he seems to have gotten online or from the yellow pages -- that is, he did NOTHING. He did NOTHING but make this our problem. We ended up having to hire another company for an additional $300 to move this one item. It is fortunate indeed that our lease on the old apartment extended another two days, which is what it took to schedule a second set of movers to move this item.</p> <br />

"First the job was scheduled at 9am ,however a day before I called her to confirm and find out if we can start the job 1 hour early. her roommate picked up and I spoke to him if it is possible to start the job early .He said OK . when the movers arrived 1 hour early ,she let them started the job and in the middle of the job she call me to tell me she would not pay the 1 hour job that the guys worked because they showed up early.That is how the argument started and the workers called me . Since her roommate that i spoken was there he calmed her down and the job continues."

The crew showed up on time and did a great job moving everything. I thought it would be a 3-hour move, but with the additional hour and travel time (not included in the rate), I ended up spending a little more. I was very pleased with the care they took in moving my furniture and setting a few things up in our new home. They were friendly, professional, and very efficient. I would definitely recommend them and use them again! <br />

There were 3 movers, young and friendly guys, organized, motivated to move and showed up right on time. <br /> They had blankets and wrapping materials for anything that needed it and they treated the couch carefully while trying to get it <br /> through the doorway. They cheerfully put items whenever we asked--upstairs, downstairs, or basement. A pleasant <br /> experience overall. <br /> <br /> <br />

I would defiantly use them again anytime. They were on time, professional, polite and extremely hard working. They took care not to damage any furniture or property and managed to move some large and delicate furniture through some difficult passages. Highly recommend
