$240= ( were supposed to arrive at 3 & leave at 5) Movers were 9 minutes late (3:09 pm), took "smoke break" (6 minutes) less than an hour after they arrived, damaged furniture ( I caught them when they damaged the sofa & I called their attention to it), damaged apartment building, I paid for 2 hours of work & they only worked a total of 1 hour & 15 minutes ( left at 4:30 pm). Owner has threatened me with legal action for leaving negative reviews. He is being very uncooperative about an insurance claim on my damages. I had to call and complain, over a 5 day span to get a response from Ken. He says there are 6 steps to ever resolving this issue. I REGRET USING THIS COMPANY!

I was pleased with the people who helped as they were punctual and accommodating. Whether it was missed by I myself or it wasn't clear enough on the listing, I didn't know until after I booked that I would be getting moving helpers and not a truck as well. I had to rent a UHAUL, which wasn't a huge deal, but it was an extra $35 nonetheless. The help was great; maybe the listing needs to be more clear. Or I need to read better. B+ to A- for this company. May consider recommending or using again.

<p>Oh my goodness! Our first contact with Moving Made Smooth was fantastic. Kendra at the office was pleasant, knowledgeable and just a real sweetheart. Ken, who is the owner came out and gave us a rough estimate and after talking to him we knew this was the company to go with. His passion, commitment to excellence and desire to please us was clearly evident.</p> <p>We've moved a lot in the USAF and by far this was the best we've ever experienced! The A team (Andrew, Elliott, Correy and Mike) were outstanding! They listened to our concerns and were very personable we had a great time with them. They were very cautious in moving the large pieces of furniture downstairs, setting up a mirror, protecting our walls, base boards and wood floors (love those neoprene runners.)</p> <p>We couldn't have been more pleased. Having this company move us was truly a blessing and helped take the stress out of moving for the LAST TIME!</p> <p>We highly recommend Moving Made Smooth and would have no other movers.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />

Provider was on time, padded the doorways, covered the hardwood floor etc. to prevent scratches and any kind of damage. They moved everything we asked and in the time scheduled. Andrew and Mike were very professional and the experience was delightful. The office personnel were professional and very friendly and ensured that all the details of the furniture move were outlined by describing it on the phone and then providing a detailed invoice by email along with the appropriate waivers needed for protection of the customer and the movers. <br /> This company does not provided trucks which must be rented by the customer, but the service we required did not require a truck. <br />

the guys faced plenty of issues getting things to fit through openings, but they took apart doors and the fridge itself to make it work. <br />

These guys are great. They really know how to pack a truck. It would have took my friends and I 3 truck loads to fit what they packed into 1. Super nice guys, will never move without them again.

I cannot rate Ken, Kendra and all the staff more highly! They are everything one would want in a moving company: Honest, hard-working, fair, polite, careful, trustworthy, efficient, punctual, helpful-The list goes on. I have moved uncountable times and have never felt as confident and as at ease about a move as I felt with Moving Made Smooth; And part of the move they did without me even being there! They are very amenable and do all they can to make sure your needs are taken care of. I would never hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Whatever you need they do their best to accommodate. Estimate was for 3 men 4-6 hours, $675-$775. They estimated we should rent one U Haul for $39.99 plus taxes. <br /> Actual was 10 hours, 2 trips with the Uhaul plus overflow in pick up trucks. $1250. And the u Haul was also closer to $100. <br /> By 11 pm I said I didn't care where they put the stuff, I just wanted to go to bed. <br /> The fellas were very nice, we liked them all, but it was a long, miserable day and they really underestimated what we needed and how much it was going to cost. <br /> If I had known it was going to go like it did, and cost as much as it did, I would have chosen a full service company that provides the truck. <br />

It is very hard to estimate a move over the phone, how ever in a normal circumstance your estimate was accurate. We had know idea of all the odds and ends that needed to be dealt with. Overall this went well- the initial communication was thorough and professional. The crew was punctual and hard working. They brought flooring and doorway protection to keep the home we were moving out of damage-free. They did an excellent job fitting in our household items into the truck. <br /> The only odd incident is that my husband received a call the day before asking if it was OK for a trainee to come along and that we would not get charged for the 4th man who was there to learn and help load the truck. The day of the move only three arrived at our home to load- two of the regular crew and one trainee. The third man had a tragic accident happen with a friend and was unable to be at work that day. While we do understand that, the change was not communicated and our pricing was not adjusted to reflect the two man plus trainee crew. I would chalk this up to the accidental nature of what happened to the third crew member's friend. We did not ask for a refund nor did they offer to bring another person in to help out. <br />

They were punctual and very efficient. They covered doors and put runners down on the carpeting so that there would be no damage to the apartment. They had the furniture out of my daughter's apartment in an hour. She lived on the third floor and there was some pretty heavy furniture to be moved and they stayed on task and got it done with complete professionalism. When we returned to Omaha, they unloaded all the furniture within a 45 minute window. We had them contracted for 3 hours and they were able to complete the job in under that time, even with the travel time back to Omaha from Lincoln. We would most definitely use this company again. Everyone was very professional and detailed from the young lady who set up the appointment to the two young gentlemen that did the actual moving. There was no damage and the way they packed the truck was extremely well done. We are a military family and have had to move 8 times over the years. They were two of the best movers we have ever hired. Moving Made Smooth is an excellent company to work with and we highly recommend them. <br />
