Moving Maniacs

Great. Pam collected the pieces, packed them and shipped, while keeping me advised of how the job was proceeding.

We recently hired Moving Maniacs to move furniture into a POD storage unit on our driveway. First of all, they showed up on time. They did a great job of covering everything and positioning and securing items in the POD for future transport. They brought 3 guys and they were done in less than 2 hours. They even moved a dresser out of the attic into a bedroom for us. We would certainly use them again. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and their professionalism. Very easy to deal with and the price was right!

Staff was professional, polite, accommodating. Steve was resourceful in determining which items should be donated, auctioned, or trashed. They all worked hard and accomplished so much in a timely manner.

We hired two movers. The scheduling process was easy. Steve is very nice and accommodating. The movers arrived on time and ready to work. They were nice, professional and made sure everything was as we wanted it before they left. We would definitely hire them again.

We were looking for a mover that could take our bedroom furniture from our upstairs and carry it into our garage so that we can donate it and get our new bedroom furniture delivered. I called around to the big boy movers and yeah they said they would call me back but of course this never happened. Since the job was so small I guess it wasn't worth their time. I just joined Angies list did a search on movers and sure enough I find Moving Maniacs that are close by. I call them and talk to Pam the owner and she said of course they can do the move and they can come over later in the afternoon since they were involved in a move in Carlisle. I am speechless at this point since I'm used to the run around treatment. Well Pam calls me around 4:30pm and says they are still doing the move and I expected to hear well we will have to reschedule the move. To my surprise Pam said the crew wanted to complete the move for us and came around 6:30pm. The crew was as friendly as can be and Steve was great. They moved our furniture quickly and with great care. The crew even moved the furniture around in our garage to take the least amount of space. Then to add even greater customer service Steve said they had furniture to donate to same place we wanted to and they could come back today and remove it so our garage would be freed up and we could use it again instead of waiting weeks for the pick up. You can't get any better customer service than this!! I can guarantee you that any future moves with us, our family or friends will be done from Moving Maniacs! A job well done!!

Pam told me originally she had a crew of 4 people for 2 days.   I challenged this from the information the neighbor gave me, they were only there one day,  The story changed from her and now she had 5 guys for 1 day and 8 hours in her story.  When I questioned this she said "I don't care what your neighbor said.  I know what we did".  The house was a mess!  Broken Christmas ornaments on the basement stairs, broken light bulb left shattered, clogged toilet, and 50% was not even sorted only piled.    The broom for cleaning was in the room where they said they sorted so it wasn't for lack of a broom.  In addition, many areas of the home that needed sorted and stacked remained untouched.  The most troublesome was the "trash" pile she created on the back porch that had an abundance of items that could go to auction.  This was verified by an auctioneer.    In addition she reported a problem with an animal in the attic.  She made it sound so dire, that I immediately got someone to the house at a fee of $325.00.  The troublesome animal was no where to be found, no point of entry, just a few mouse droppings from days gone by.   <br /> When I contacted Pam to discuss my dissatisfaction her response was "I'm not sure what the issue is?  I have done everything you hired me to do what is the problem?"  This is the customer service response from the owner.  Bottom line, I found her to be unprofessional, untrustworthy, and caught her in several versions of the truth while trying to resolve.  For someone in elder care moving, I am fearful for others as I feel she took great advantage of the situation a caused much chaos. <br /> If you need services for your parents, please find someone who you can trust.  This is not the company. <br /> I asked for a refund and was only offered that she would not charge me the extra hour over payment.  Now I need to re-hire someone to clean up the mess she made, sort through the items with the knowledge of what is truly of value, and pack the rest of the items for donation.  Double the work, double the expense, and Triple the work.  She would of course be happy to charge me an additional fee to complete these services. <br />

Pam and Steve are lifesavers!  The thought of packing and moving the contents of our home after living there for over 30 years was overwhelming to say the least!  They came and organized the items for donation, sale and for the move and then coordinated all of these services.  The cost of these services were very reasonable.  I would recommend them highly to anyone who is planning a move.  Thank you Pam, Steve and their team for making our move a stressfree experience! <br />

Stephen and his team wrapped and packed everything into the Truck securely.  They were real pros at it and gracious and very professional. When we got to the new location I could not get in right away and they help me find an alternative place to store.  I just can't say enough about how he handles customer service and went above and beyond what I expected.  Hire these guys they are the best. <br />

Moving Maniacs saved my moving day. I had friends lined up to help me and they backed out at the last minute. I called Moving Maniacs and Steve and Pam were understanding in my panic and reassured me that all would be ok. They gave me an estimate and scheduled to help us move that coming weekend. It was short notice but they came through! Steve and his crew came at the scheduled time, and even a snafu with the rental truck didn't seem to ruffle the guys's feathers. They were all very polite and respectful of our belongings and took great care to ensure that nothing would get broken. They loaded up everything into the truck and unloaded everything into the new house. They asked for direction as to where to put everything. They even moved my hutch from one spot to another after I changed my mind on location. The guys were great and seemed happy to help us move. They seemed to love their jobs and it shows in the compassion that they all have towards their customers. I was very satisfied with their service and work! Will definitely use them again in the future for moving! <br />
