Moving Relocation Systems of North Carolina

From the time they loaded their truck at the house I was moving from in Schoharie NY it was a disaster. The driver nor the 2 guys he had with them listened. Put stuff on the truck that was not supposed to go and refused to take the stuff off of the truck, then told me it was supposed now going to be 4900 more than when I was quoted. Was told it would be to my new residence in North Carolina on a certain date and didn’t come until 3 days after. Multiple damaged items, missing items that I was told the original drivers who picked up kept for themselves. I WOULD NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!

This was my second time using Moving Relocation Systems. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a company that provides an excellent service. My representative, Cheryl, was always available to answer my questions. My items arrived on time and there was no damage. Just as in my previous move, the price did not increase. All in all a great move. If the company provided unpacking of boxes at delivery, it would be helpful.

If I could I'd give them 0 stars I would! Good companies don’t need reviews, people only leave reviews when a company doesn't hold up their side of the service. This company should NOT be considered a "TOP 5 RATED MOVING COMPANY". THEY ARE ALSO NOT BBB ACCREDITED. Israel, Mike, Jennifer, and Amir, I don’t know how you all sleep at night knowing you scam and steal from people! From the low initial quote - which by the way my husband walked through every room and told Israel EXACTLY what was coming (what it's really called is a bait and switch), to the lack of communication, to the showing up 24 hours unannounced, but as per Amir we didn't say the date we did (still waiting on those transcriptions, bud). I'm guessing we never got them because you're wrong. Whenever we tried reaching out when they did wrong no one answered & when they did, we would get the run around or a snotty attitude from Jennifer. OR they ghost you, but when they need payment they are nice and say "any resolutions will be deducted off the final price." WRONG. Not only were we charged close to 3 times the amount we were quoted because of a HORRIBLE quote from Israel who was also supposed to be our POC throughout our whole move if anything went wrong, HEY just so you know Israel left us out to dry-until this day we still haven't heard from him, although we have called, left voice mails, emailed, AND even texted his number he provided us with. Amir, who is the "dispatch supervisor" (not much of a supervisor and professional BTW) called my husband a liar and when my husband asked for transcripts since all the phone conversations are "recorded," as per Amir, he never sent those over either (we're still waiting on those if you care to send them over). Mike, who calls himself the "supervisor", didn't have time for us because he was waiting for a flight with his wife on a Friday afternoon while our whole move was a disaster - great supervising done on your end, pal. Jennifer, their secretary, is snotty, condescending, and apparently can not deal with hard situations as she told my husband and blamed my husband for their mistakes. She seems to be blind to the fact that her bosses put her in these situations, not the customers. If the customers were treated correctly they wouldn't be getting the phone calls they get. NOT a professional company at all. They lack empathy and ANY proper business etiquette, they make it sound like they care and are there for you in the beginning, BUT they aren't, they're only there for your money. It really is a shame. Again, not sure how people like this are still in business and not only that but how do they sleep at night? They haven't reached out to us with a "resolution", they probably think we forgot, but when you take food out of peoples mouths people don’t forget. They took advantage, they saw their opportunity and jumped right on it. Moving Relocation Systems, please know I will not stop posting and or reaching out to BBB, and FMCSA until YOU reach out to us and make this right and resolve this issue to a matter of our liking. If this doesn't happen, PLEASE understand our lawyers will be in-touch, and if I remember correctly, as per Mike, (who was waiting for a flight with his wife) didn't care to make that clear as we were having issues with the moving company he supervises and his phone call with my husband they are "ready for lawyers". To anyone looking to move, do your research. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. This company likes to pull what they call a "bait and switch", and believe me when I tell you this review is missing a lot of things that SHOULD be in here. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!! Kelly assured they were not brokers and their employees had worked for them for 4+years when in fact they hire any drunk to unload at the destination via hiring through a craigslist ad. Semi driver is also contract labor and not an experienced mover. LITERALLY watched several pieces of furniture fall off the side of the ramps and get destroyed. Company requires cash up front because they would NEVER be able to get payment at the completion of a job. No one from the co. (Jennifer) returned my frantic calls regarding the damage and absolute fiasco. The semi pulled in for delivery with my $5000 frame and mattress strapped to the OUTSIDE of the back of the semi. W/D scratched and dented beyond recognition. 8 pieces of furniture destroyed. Several boxes I packed were opened and unpacked/repacked at the warehouse. Breakable/collectable items were taken out of boxes and shoved into any available crevice on the semi-unlabeled. Cost of the move DOUBLED mid load.

We hired this company and worked with Israel to move us from MA to FL. We needed 2 stops with 1/2 our stuff going to the apartment and 1/2 our stuff to storage because we hadn't bought a house yet. The driver called me a few hours before he got here. He told me he would not make 2 stops even though it was in my contract. He told me he has never made 2 stops and he would not! He told me to call Jennifer. I called Jennifer and told her what he said. She told me she would talk to the driver and her manager and call me back. I said he will be here in ½ and hour are you sure you will call me back to tell me how to proceed. She said yes…An hour past and she never called me back. I called her many times, left a message, kept calling her and she wouldn’t answer. The driver arrived at our apartment and told us we needed to rent a uhaul truck. He would meet us at the storage unit because there was no way could pull his truck in the complex. He also told me again he would NOT make 2 stops he doesn't so that. He told me he would unload the stuff with the white stickers into the truck to bring to the apartment and the stuff with the green stickers in the storage unit. We would then have to drive the uhaul back to the apartment and pay the labors to unload the truck. Keep in mind the only reason we hired movers to pack our belongings and move them for us is because we didn’t want to have to move things ourselves. My husband has a bad back and I have bad knees. When we hires Relocation services we did NOT sign up for this sh*% show. Moving along, we really had no choice but to do what the driver suggested. The main office wasn’t calling us back, nor did they ever. I got on the huge semi truck trailer and helped direct what was going where (white stickers in the uhaul and green stickers in the storage). Then I noticed there were around 5 bins, couch cushions that didn’t belong to me. They had white stickers but the wrong number. This was in the middle of my load. They were pulling things off the trailer like my table saw and mitre saw without being in boxes or wrapped in a blanket. Pieces of the saws where on the ground. I scooped them up and put them next to my purse. They put that stuff in storage and the labors did not know how to pack so they just filled the storage unit all willy nilly as well as the uhaul. It was so bad that we had to rent another Uhaul to put the over flow in. In fact the lady who worked at the uhaul had already went home because the place had closed but drove back to get my husband another truck. Once everything was on the uhauls and in the storage the driver was in a hurry and told me to sign and he left. The labors followed us back to our apartment and unloaded our stuff for us and we paid them $600. My contract says I was getting 2 stops, disassembly of furniture and assembly of furniture, FULL WHITE GLOVE SERVICE. I didn’t know they meant surgical glove!!! The following day I was unpacking the things in the apartment and found 2 “My Pillow” Mattress toppers that didn’t belong to me. I could see how this could be a mistake since we own one. But why in the heck was their stuff mixed with mine? I emailed Israel and told him I had them and that Jennifer should have called me back yesterday. I also told him I would contacting a lawyer. He emailed back and told me he was sorry and he would fwd to Jennifer and his manager. Jennifer emailed and told me she would send UPS to pick up the mattress toppers and sent me a link to make a claim. We paid $19,186.00 for Moving Relocation Systems. $551.00 for extra insurance through PAF. $600 to the labors. 2 Uhaul trucks and had to get an extra storage until to put the overflow in the following day. I have to say this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had in my life. I don’t even know if we are missing things because I won’t be able to go through it until December when we move into our house.

Horrible company. They broke so many items, boxes were smashed and they "lost" some of my property. I called and left a message and no one responded. I also emailed and got no response. Please don't do business with these people.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. We received quotes from multiple movers, and this company quoted us fairly competitive for an interstate move. Before selecting them as our movers, we called back to go over everything we had again - just to be sure we were on the same page as to cost based on amt of items, etc. The day of the move, after loading the truck, we were told our cost would be DOUBLE the estimate. They also mentioned, "Don't worry, this happens 90% of the time." So, basically I was told that this company price gouges in order to get a seat at the table, then once they have your stuff they hold you hostage for a higher price? That is extremely un-ethical to me. As they moved our stuff, the movers dropped multiple boxes on the way to the truck - our large TV was shattered in the move, along with mirrors and artwork. Do yourself a favor and use another company - even if the rates look attractive. I promise they won't be by the time they load the truck.

They did a great job. The man was very respectful and professional. I had a piano and it arrives in a good condition. All of my items arrive on time and in good condition. My estimate stayed the same. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends that I would use them again.

They were professional, efficient, quick, courteous, respectful, and cleaned up after themselves. This move was flawless.

My previous moves have been paid for by the companies that I have worked for . This time, I was on my own. I was very nervous about my price going up at the last minute. I am happy to say that the price that was quoted stayed the same. My items arrived in perfect condition and on time. I highly recommend Moving Relocation Systems to anyone looking for a great moving service. I was extremely pleased with their professionalism during a very stressful time. Keep up the good work. I will hire you again.

Excellent service! The foreman were professional with packing objects with a smooth transition to my new place. All furniture were placed down properly with no scratches or damaged items. The foreman were generous from beginning to end. I would highly recommend this company.

FANTASTIC! We learned of MOVING RELOCATION SYSTEMS OF NORTH CAROLINA as we where moving from CT to FL and I did some cold calls for information and costs. It was in this time period I spoke with Matt. He was very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. I did tell him that I have made calls and was trying to decide which service I should use. Matt asked questions and offered any help. After the conversation we did speak a few times and all my questions where answered by Matt and his answers had back up information and I decided to go with the company. Matt again was right there for us and guided us thru everything. He kept in touch and offered his expert advice. We exchanged lists of items that needed to be shipped and Matt reviewed the list with me right up to the shipment day. I even kept Matt advised with photos. They showed up on moving day right on time. They went straight to work and did all of the work! We hardly had to do anything! Everything was wrapped, sealed, protected and carefully moved into the truck. It was a long process but well worth the time they took. At the end of the day the moving team check with us to see if anything else had to be done and off they went. We had to store our items as we had not purchased a new home in Florida. We did have a triple wide but if you know anything about Florida's triplewides you would know there is not a lot of room to store anything! Well we found the perfect home and just fell in love with the new home. I called Matt and told him we where ready to get our belongings. With in a few days they arrived at out door and again went straight to work. They unloaded everything and all of the items that had to be re-assembled was done. They put all of the furniture just where we wanted it. And of course there where a few things that just didn't fit where we wanted it and they jumped right in moved it for us. Again it was a different crew and as the first crew they where professional, quick, and knew exactly what to do. After another long day they retraced their steps for a 'last look' and we signed off and off they went. We can't say enough about the company! They where simply GREAT! The gentleman Mike (the owner) Jennifer (the office person) and of course Matt are all there for you on a constance basis - always available. Our experience was awful. They were timely, but there were literally chunks of the furniture that were missing. My wife was in tears when she saw what arrived here in Florida. They were so unprofessional. They cracked my ficus tree in half. The bottom was ripped out of the canvas wicker base. I had a small concrete bench that I asked them specifically to wrap very carefully and one of the legs is smashed. They destroyed things that had significant sentimental value that I had specifically asked be treated with extra care. A beautiful pasta bowl arrived in 8 pieces. The list goes on. They're making it very difficult to make a claim, when they are clearly in the wrong. This is a homeowners worst nightmare when it comes to a move.

My contract stated approximate 1/9 delivery so I was frustrated with a 1/13 delivery date. No complaints, I guess that sort of thing happens with a long distance move. They packed a few of my things (I packed most), one piece they packed was a one of a kind floor standing lamp with a unique glass top. The movers put it back together at the end of the move but "forgot" to put the glass top on the lamp. I figured I could put the top on when they left. I went to take the top out of the box and it was completely smashed. Again, the rest of my stuff got here in good condition so I was not going to bring it up with Moving Relocation. My price was literally double what was quoted on the "binding estimate". They were unable to send someone to my place and give an estimate. I did have more stuff than I thought but certainly not twice as much. But the move was over so I didn't complain. The team lead on the move was on his cell most of the unloading time, his two workers were not happy about that but not my problem. One of the workers complained to me near the end of the day but was not my problem. Today was the last straw. My expensive king size bed was taken apart and rebuilt by the movers at the end of the move. Heavy tempurpedic mattress. I had to assume the movers put it back together properly, that's their job. Today I noticed marks on the wall behind the bed and realized the bed frame was coming apart. Just got finished taking the mattress off the bed and much of the hardware was missing from the frame, and what was there was loose. Not ok. Not ok. I based my choice of this particular mover on the glowing reviews on Angies List. Use at your own risk.

We got a call about some information we filled out online looking for a mover. The guy on the phone was really nice. He explained to us some tools that they sent in our email that would help us decide better on what company to go with even if we didn't go with them. They were very kind and made sure we understood all of the tools in front of us so our initial impression of them was really good. We spoke with a few different moving companies and finally we decided to go with these guys because it seemed like it was the best decision. So we called back our rep and scheduled the date with them. They then walked us how things would be handled and answered any questions we hadn't initially asked them. The truck drivers were a little late, but they did call us so we were aware of what was going on. Once they arrived everything seemed to go pretty smoothly. Our furniture was carefully handled and loaded. I was a little concerned about some of my items because it is very expensive. So I asked them to be especially careful with those items and they were sure to be careful with them. We were a little aggravated when our stuff was delivered because we did have to wait a day later than we originally had thought. When we called the customer service department they explained that we must have miss understood the delivery date and went over the paperwork, and they were right we had miscalculated the delivery date. They made sure to get our stuff delivered to us the next day. Once they got there again things seemed to go smoothly. We had a great experience with them upon the items being unloaded they took just as much care with our stuff as we hoped for. I would definitely recommend them.

This moving company is well deserving of the high ratings. We hired a 3-man crew for $114/hour on a Saturday to move 2,000+ square foot house. The guys showed up on time with smiles and energy. We walked through the home and spoke of what was going to the new house, etc. Brian asked good questions, then formalized a game plan of how to best fit all of the "goods" into one trip (using a 28-foot box truck). Let me just say: Moving Relocation System wants to move your home as quickly, efficiently, and safely as possible to help save you money. These guys literally RAN back and forth to the truck with boxes and large furniture. All in all, the entire move took 4.5 hours. There's a one-time trip charge for the cost of one hour, which covers gas and the supplies used to move (they use lots of plastic wrap to keep drawers intact, electronics safe, etc.). I was highly impressed with MRS and would definitely recommend them to anyone making a move, big or small. Just read the reviews MRS is that good. We moved into a 2-story home and they had the truck unpacked in about an hour and twenty minutes. It was impressive to watch. No damage to any of our items and no damage to either house, awesome! The process to setup the move was painless and they kept good contact to confirm arrival time, price, etc. This was an excellent end-to-end process.

Don't even bother shopping around looking for moving companies. These guys are it!!!! I was very leery to hire a moving company because I've had my fair share of bad experience and getting ripped off. Our crew was right on time, friendly as can be, careful, quick, helpful and very courteous. COULD NOT ask for a better moving experience and I would recommend these guys to ANYONE I know that's moving and will never use another moving company. Thanks again for the wonderful experience!!!! You guys rock!!! These guys were prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. The three-man crew that arrived was personable and polite. First thing they did was introduce themselves, and they were right to work. I didn't see them stop until the job was done. I've never used a moving company before, but now I will not use anyone else.

I have had some horrible movers in the past so I decided it was time to cough up a little more coin and stop hiring U-Haul tweekers. Here's how it went. - I sent over an online request for a quote on Saturday. Even though it was not during their listed business hours, they still gave me a call. I wasn't near the phone so we ended up playing a little phone tag. Since we didn't connect on Saturday, they promptly called me Monday morning to talk to me about my move. - We went over my needs and costs. We agreed on getting a 3-man crew. All the dollies, moving blankets, and shrink wrap were included in the cost. I decided to go ahead and schedule for Saturday. - Friday they called to confirm, made sure they had all my info correct, and said they would see me bright and early the next morning. 7am!!- 6:45 Saturday morning. The truck rolls up, 3 guys get out and start prepping and ring the doorbell. They all introduce themselves and ask for a tour. We walk through and point out what's going and they start immediately. They came by to have me initial the actual start time and didn't start the clock until 7. They didn't charge for the walk through which was great! - I sat back and did very little. I let the guys do their thing and tried to stay out of the way. They were careful with all my belongings and moved pretty quick. - After about 1 1/2 hours the truck was loaded. They confirmed the address and cross streets and off they went. - I beat them to the new house by about 5 minutes. They rolled up, gave them a quick walk through and off they went. - Unloading was a little slower due to having to move all my stuff into a basement. Nothing to complain about though. They were still very careful with everything. I spent a little more than I wanted to but I feel it was worth it. I was very happy with the crew and their professionalism. I will be using Moving Relocation Systems for all my future moves!!

Moving Relocation Systems did a great job moving me out of my house. The team of 3 showed up on time, loaded everything up with no issues. They moved my furniture and boxes out of a house and into a storage unit. Everything went smooth and the price was right on. I will be using them again the next time I move. Highly recommended!

Today Moving Relocation Systems came to my home and packed us. We needed to use the packing service since I have back issues. In 6 hours’ time these extremely professional guys did an amazing job both packing with procession and taking great care of my many valuable things. I cannot express how happy I am with phase 1 of my move ...let me add that their quote and front office staff has also made this stressful process for a very organized control freak pure perfection!! Couldn't be happier with this company. On time, friendly and fast! Really can't say enough good things. Fantastic service all the way from booking to payment. Every single member of the crew had a smile on his face the whole day. Moving is stressful but these guys made it a ton easier with they’re positive professional attitude.

The movers were good guys, only one small thing got broken and it was old anyway, they sent two trucks and 4 guys - the 2nd truck made the job go more quickly. They were able to do the job on short notice which was necessary because of circumstances (AC problem in the space we were moving out of made us move more quickly than anticipated). The amount of stuff we moved was what we estimated and filled the trucks about as much as everyone thought.

I hate moving. I think I'd rather go to the dentist to have a tooth pulled than to move again. I bought a house a few weeks ago, and I decided I wasn't going to move myself anymore. I called Moving Relocation Systems, and from there, everything was seamless. They quoted me a per-hour charge right up front, and they estimated the amount of time it would take. The crew called about 45 minutes before my appointment on a Monday morning, and they showed up on my doorstep about 15 minutes early. After introducing themselves they were off to work. They were very polite and agreeable guys who seemed to really like what they were doing. They were extremely efficient moving items around, and I was amazed at how quickly they cleared out my old apartment. Traffic sucked on the way to my new house. Once we arrived, the crew once again showed their efficiency in how quickly they unloaded the truck. I even had them move a couple of pieces of furniture because I had changed my mind, and they were enthusiastic about how they were there to help. When it was all said and done, they finished about 30 minutes faster than what I was estimated despite the extra traffic. That means my final bill was $50 less than my original quote. The next time I move, if I run out of teeth to pull, I'll be calling Moving Relocation Systems. They were great.
