Moving with caution & care

They're dishonest, they do the bate and switch, and do whatever to get what they want. I do not respect them anymore after what they did to me. They took off my shelves, mirror, and large pictures and left items at my other home. They told me it was my fault that I did not look at everything and gave me $55 to bring my own items to my new home. I even helped pack the items for them.

BAD! <br> <p>I have thought long and hard about writing this review because I am torn here. On the one hand, the move was one of the cheapest ones I have ever had, but on the other hand, I feel people should know that the movers (the ones we had anyway) were not good at their job.</p> <p>My parter was at the old place to let the movers in to get our things. I was here at the new place for the drop off. So I can only speak from my side of the move. </p> <p>First of all, I did not find it very professional for the movers to show up at the destination smelling of pot! Thank God they came down from their high after eating the lunch my partner picked up for them. He followed them here in his car.  </p> <p> Also, I don’t think there was one item carried into the new house that the blonde mover did not slam into a doorframe or slam down onto the floor when he sat it down.</p> <p>They are the only movers I have ever used that did not put plastic covers over/around our mattresses or boxsprings; this was doubly disturbing when they sat the mattresses down on the ground a couple of times moving them into the new house. </p> <p>They did not bother to tape or secure any cabinet doors (other movers have always done that) so as they carried our cabinets into the house, doors would fly open and one door broke off. The dark haired mover said to just move the hinge to another location and it will be good as new. Really?</p> <p>Not watching what they were doing they slammed a big screen TV into a doorframe. Thank God it is still working OK. They knocked the top shelf off a bookcase that now has a big chunk taken out of it. When they could not get the other shelf system to stand up right, the one mover started trying to pull the top shelf off the bookcase. I had to yell at him to make him stop and I had to explain to him that there are screws in it and to just leave it alone and we will deal with it later. </p> <p>Then to top off the day, the dark haired mover said his credit card reader was not working and we would have to pay in check or cash. When my partner told him that they either find a way to take a credit card or they don’t get paid, he was suddenly able to call his boss and owner of Moving with Caution and Care (ironic name considering our experience) and the boss was able to take the payment information. I gave them a tip and later realized I need to not do that with people that DO NOT EARN THE TIP! </p> <p>I guess it comes down to this. If you are in a bind with money and don’t care how your things are handled, and want cheap movers then Moving with Caution and Care are the movers for you. If on the other hand, you have antiques and or things you do not want slammed into walls and such, then you should pick another moving company.</p>

Frank was very professional and lived up to his business name, "Moving with Caution and Care". We are very happy with his service. He and his companion mover arrived ready to work and took four hours total to move us to our new home. We are very satisfied and would recommend him to anyone looking for a fair price and excellent service for their next move. He even agreed to work on Super Bowl Sunday to boot! How awesome is that?! (Maybe it helped that we were local, but we are so grateful!) Thank you Frank for helping make our move go smoothly! Great work! <br />

It was superb.  I would highly recommend this company.  They checked in with me when the service was book and checked in on the day of the move when they were on their way.  The team of two was early, stayed the entire 2 hours and rarely took breaks.  It was 90+ degrees and that didn't stop them.  They had equipment to make the move go more quickly and were careful with everything.  Asking me where I wanted things as they got into the apartment. <br /> Service with a smile.  I would (will) hire them again for my next move. <br /> <br />

I was relocating a sick relative and it was a mess. Frank and his coworker were prompt, hardworking, good-natured and never a word of complaint about the conditions in which they were working. They made a very stressful event go far more smoothly than I though possible. They handled the furniture with obvious expertise, knowing which pieces would break down for easier transport, and wrapped everything carefully in the truck. I could not be more pleased with them, and would most certainly hire them again, and recommend them to family and friends. <br />

Frank Washington, the owner, took care of renting and picking up the U-Haul truck. He showed up early with an employee. They both worked quickly and efficiently. They did a fantastic job. Everything arrived at the new house in good condition. Frank was easy to get in contact with and extremely to work with. I would definitely use Moving With Care and Caution again and I would recommend them to anyone who is planning on moving. <br />

Moving with Caution and Care is awesome!!!! Frank and Adrian were great. They arrived right on time and got right to work. Frank even rented the U-Haul truck so I did not have to deal with any of that either. I did not have a lot of things, but, I did have a lot of boxes (with books!!). I had a bed and a desk that needed to be taken apart, to be moved, and this was done without any problems. I also had a refrigerator that needed to be moved into a storage space, and Frank and Adrian even took the time to move things around in my storage space so the refrigerator would fit, and then packed everything back in expertly!! We then headed over to my apartment, and Frank and Adrian quickly moved everything up to my 2nd floor apartment. They also put my bed back together and also my desk. All in all, everything was done quickly and very professionally. I had no worries or concerns because it was obvious that Frank really knows what he is doing. Plus, the price was super reasonable, even with adding in the price of the U-Haul. Hopefully, I won't be moving again soon, but, if and when I next move, I will definitely call Moving with Caution and Care. Super great service, and the best moving experience ever!!! <br />

It went ABSOLUTELY great!! Although we called at the last minute for unloading help that evening, <br /> Frank and Forrest showed up right on time, worked for the agreed-upon <br /> price, were quick, courteous and professional. They unloaded a 24ft <br /> truck in less than 2 hours and even assembled some of the pieces for us! I am a "tough sell" on services and demand a lot from providers. They met and exceeded my expectations. We will definitely use them again! <br />

It went well. I was looking for a low-cost way to just move a small amount of stuff as opposed to a full moving company that was going to take all day. So it was hard to find a place that would do it under three hours and they were able to it and they were flexible.

He knows how to pack and move things. He is very accommodating. He rode down with me. I highly recommend him. Nothing was broken.
