Mel was fantastic! Completely professional, knowledgeable and walked me through all my options so I wouldn't have to spend a fortune! In addition, he kept things super clean and was respectful to the fact that I work from home and needed to take conference calls while he was here. Mr. Appliance really felt bad when he had to break the news to me about how much replacing the ice dispenser in my fridge would cost! He quickly evaluated the problem and ordered necessary parts. Barbara from his office stayed in touch via phone and text to keep me posted about arrival times, which was very helpful. She also called to follow up with me and make sure everything was working properly. Can't say enough good things about Mr. Appliance! <br />

.I was quoted a price of $130.00 to clean my dryer vent.  Service man arrived with 'MICKY MOUSE EQUIPMENT" a hand drill with flexible rods in new boxes, had the immediate feeling he was new at this.   I too had that equipment at my home that I purchased from the hardware store.  The man used this equipment and after about a half an hour came to me and told me it would cost more, $150.00, the guy was there for quite sometime told me he had some bad new the equipment had broken off in my duct and he would have to come back tomorrow and work at it again. He then told me the charge would be $222.00, almost double what I was originally quoted.  He then made me pay him half that amount of the total, I paid even though the service I hired him for was not completed.  I felt I was left with a mess and had to continue and see this through.  That was I know now a big mistake.... He came back again the next day.  He told me it was plugged and he could not finish the job .  I called another company, they  told me it was NOT plugged, but the tucks had been destroyed with his equipment.  I contacted a contractor and he had to open the wall and take the destroyed tucked work out and the  equipment he just left in there, the final bill was over $1000.00 for the repairs.  AVOD THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.2 <br />

Wonderful service - so impressed!  Very clean, professional, organized, and pleasant.  <br /> This refrigerator is only 2 years old, but we've had to have several other service calls and repairs by another company sent by the extended warranty company.  We finally were allowed to call a repair person of our choice - so we called Mr. Appliance!  (We had recently had a problem with our 10 yr old stove and after calling several companies, we found Mr. Appliance.  After much research and several phone conversations with Barbara (she is the most pleasant person!), she helped us determine that it would probably be more cost effective to buy a new one instead of trying to replace the circuit board and whatever else might have been wrong. She was so helpful and pleasant that they were my first choice when we experienced another appliance issue.) <br /> Mr. Appliance came out and they determined that during a previous repair (made by another company), the drawer glides had been improperly installed and as a result the plastic teeth had worn off of the gear that operates the drawer glides - which resulted in the drawer not shutting properly, allowing air to be pulled into the freezer and also causing the gasket around the drawer to become deformed. ... Of course parts needed to be ordered, but in the meantime, Mr. Appliance was able to adjust the drawer so that it closed better and minimized the amount of icing inside the freezer while we we were waiting for the parts to come in.  They also went out of their way to help coordinate the repair information and supporting paperwork required by the warranty company for my reimbursement.  I would never buy the same brand of appliance again, but I would definitely call Mr. Appliance again, and without hesitation, would highly recommend them.  .... Update: The repair was completed Sept 2014 and that's when I wrote this review. However, I was interrupted before actually 'submitting' it.  I came across it  today - May 17, 2015, and  I am happy to report the the refrigerator and freezer are both operating perfectly :) Thanks again Mr. Appliance! <br />

The repairs went well, in spite of bad news. First, we got a courtesy call at home half an hour before they arrived, (then they called my work number to say the same thing when nobody answered at our home number). When they arrived, the bad news was that dishwasher was toast, and the technician recommended we replace it for not much more than repairing it. He also showed us what went wrong (the filter had calcium deposits that blocked water flow and burned out the motor) then explained what to do to keep our next dishwasher working. He looked at the drier and showed us how to fix it ourselves by shortening a hose to avoid it kinking. We were charged for a regular diagnosis and a half-price second diagnosis. <br /> This kind of service was not a fluke--the last time we called them, our oven was fixed correctly when two other repair companies fixed it and each time it broke again in less than a month. The other places stood by their work... one time each...then failed to return our calls. In contrast, our Mr. Appliance tech fixed the oven, then troubleshot to figure out why it kept breaking (it turned out to be an ungrounded outlet). During that same visit, with our second broken appliance, a fridge, he told us how to fix the icemaker ourselves for less than he could. <br /> Diamonds may be rare, but that's nothing compared to the rarity of courteous repair people who are knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely decent people. I've worked with three Savannah companies, and neither could hold a candle to the folks we've worked with at Mr. Appliance. <br />

Neal was very honest and upfront in explaining what was wrong and what my options were.  I would recommend him to anybody looking for honesty and integrity in a repairman. <br />

Mr. Appliance was very good about letting me know when they would get to my home so I did not have to wait for long periods of time.  The service man was very polite and professional and really knew about washers. He ordered the part and then came back within the two days that he promised and did a fantastic job installing the part. He cleaned up all around the washer and made sure everything was put back correctly and tight and made sure the washer was working properly.  I would definitely recommend using Mr. Appliance. Excellent service and very reasonable prices, which were all described upfront. <br />
