I dropped my camera with the zoom lens extended - I contacted Bryan, who I had met from an earlier positive experience, and asked if he could repair cameras.  He stated up front that he not worked on one like mine but to bring it in and let him take a look.  I did and within a day he had it fixed and working better than new.   I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that there is nothing in the electronic world that he cannot repair - <br /> Old fashion work ethic coupled with a truly professional and in-depth understand of technology <br /> Personable, professional, dependable, prompt along with fair pricing just about everything one is looking for in a service provider <br />   <br /> I would drive a good distance to get him to work on computers, cameras or any other technology items that needed repair <br />

This was my best service experience in any industry in my recent memory. <br /> The DC (or charging) jack on my wife's laptop was broken and the laptop would not take a charge.  I suspect that this is a part that not many people know can be repaired.  Many people have probably replaced their entire laptop when a $100 repair is all that is needed. <br /> I contacted MR Computer and was able to drop off the laptop the same day.  At the time of drop off, he was not sure if he had the necessary part in stock.  If not, he would need to order it.  If that were the case, it would be approx 3 business days for it to be ready.  A turn around time that I was quite happy with. <br /> Approximately 3 hours later he contacted me to tell me that the laptop was ready for pickup! <br /> I'm very pleased with the cost.  Total cost was just $15 more than it would have cost to <em>ship</em> the laptop to one of the manufacturer's "authorized repair centers" and that would have just been for shipping.  I'd imagine that they would have charged just as much, if not more, for the repair itself.  Additionally, turn around time would have been weeks instead of hours. <br /> He is located downtown, but his shop was very easy to find (especially if you have a GPS) and there is parking right at his front door. <br /> I couldn't be more pleased with MR Computer and my wife thinks that I'm a hero. <br /> <br /> <br />

Tim was my serviceman and he was great! Got everything set up and connected in lightning fast time. definitely worth the cost. My only gripe, (and i am guessing this is a "Louisville thing" rather than a "company thing") is that he arrived about a half hour past the scheduled time. And the reason I cant ding him too much for that is because two other appointments I had with two other companies did the EXACT same thing. So I am going to assume appointment times are more of a "suggestion" in Louisville rather than a fixed time! Ha. <br /> I wouldnt hesitate to hire MR Computer for any job I required in the future. <br />

I shopped around town with several custom build quotes. I wanted a high end machine for graphic design and gaming. MR computer had the best overall turn around time and pricing. So far, the machine is running beautifully. I'm very happy with my purchase.

They service was professional and quick. I liked the fact he picked it he up and I didn't need to go to a store. Would use again. Very helpful in answering questions and contacting afterwards to make sure my computer still was operating well. <br />

<p> The tech was on time, and very, very thorough. At the time our cat was very sick and wouldn't eat, and the tech even gave us a bag of treats for our cat. </p> <br />

I called Mr Computer to schedule a time to bring in my desktop computer for repair.  Bryan Scott was in the area and offered to stop by and either fix it on site of take it to his shop.  He immediately found the problem and had it fix, up and running within minutes.   Bryan is a  true professional with an old fashion work ethic. <br /> Highly recommend Mr Computer to anyone within a 100 miles radius if you want it fixed right the first time - it would be worth your drive <br />

Had what I thought was a massive problem with my laptop. Couldn't get it to boot - feared it was the motherboard or the BIOS. Brought it to Mr Computer and within 4 hours, Brian called me with a diagnostic. He said nothing was wrong, that he got it to boot successfully, and that I could pick up the computer. But since he had it, I opted for a tune-up. Picked it up the next day and Brian was kind enough to visit with me for 10-15 minutes giving me advice and answering questions on how to make sure the laptop stayed running smooth. After I got the computer home, I experienced a new issue, called Brian, and he offered to fix the BIOS for me while I waited if I would just bring it in. <br /> All in all, a good experience and I would definitely trust Mr Computer to handle any PC-related needs in the future. <br />

Brian first quoted $100.00 to replace the DC jack. He let me know the same day that I took it in that it wasn't the jack and it was the Mother Board and he could either send it out to be repaired, which would take 10 days, or he could replace the mother board, which should only take a week. Either one was the same price. Though there was a delay in getting the mother board from his distributor, he communicated to me on a daily basis the status, as my daughter needed the laptop for school. The laptop was repaired as promptly as could be, and works great. My daughter is very happy! I have a couple more laptops that need work and will be returning to MR Computer Services.

Have spent years feeling my way through computer issues and asking everyone I knew for help when things would suddenly 'go south'.  I avoided the 'squad' like the plague because I didn't want to be charged a fortune or spoken to in 'computer-eze' and not have a clue what was being done or even worse, having it done without me !   <br /> With the purchase of a new PC, I decided to bite the bullet and find someone who would sit down with me and explain things as they went. Wasn't even sure if that perfect person existed, but I was desperate. <br /> After days wasted asking around, I found Bryan and MR Computer on Angie's List ~ of course!  After reading the reviews and checking out his website, I left an email on Sunday night requesting an appointment.  Monday morning, I heard form Bryan ~ prompt, friendly and willing to do anything to help.  Because he was out of state for a few days, he arranged from someone else to come the next day.  <br /> A few minutes after talking with Bryan and arranging the appointment, my brand new PC suddenly froze.  What???  I couldn't even google to figure out what to do, so not knowing where else to turn, I called Bryan back.  He was so kind to take my call while on vacation and more than willing to talk me down off the  ledge.  He walked me through some steps and I was back in business.  Very nice of you, Bryan ! <br /> The next day, Chris arrived and spent two hours ticking off the boxes of my 3 page list.  It was wonderful !  Within 10 minutes of Chris leaving, Bryan emailed to find out how the appointment went and if I was completely satisfied.  WHO DOES THIS?    I told him I couldn't be more pleased. <br /> So, the bottom line is this.  If you think for one minute that your nephew, Ned or the guy down the street is your best bet for PC help or you'll save anything by going that route, you are badly mistaken !  Bryan not only provides in-home help, but his office is an easy drive on 64 to W. Washington St in east downtown Louisville.  Even better, if you have an issue that doesn't warrant your going to him or him coming to you, he can go into your computer via 'remote' ~ very cool to watch and quite the money and time saver ! <br /> Since finding Bryan and MR Computer Service, I have been hooked and have told many others.  Totally satisfied and my only regret is that I didn't find him sooner ! <br />

Although he had told me there was a minimum housecall charge of $90, because he was able to do this within about two minutes and it was very close to his office, he only charged $75. This after I had spent at least 8 hours getting various tech support providers to try unsuccessfully from a distance. <br />

Have had no further issues with the PC.  Would definitely use MR Computer again. <br />
