I hired this company to install an electrical outlet for a dryer. I asked if an electrical permit was needed (on 2 occasions) and was told that one was not necessary. When the mechanical inspector came to inspect another portion of the job, he reported that a permit had not been pulled for the electrical work. The electrical inspector showed up unannounced and failed the job due to lack of following code. Second time: same electrician installed a dedicated outlet for washer. Inspector failed that too. Then a supervisor finished the job to code. $3300 for 2 outlets. Will not use this company again.

They did good work, . They wanted to price the whole house no matter how many times I told him that I just wanted the bad outlets done. He kept trying to sell me a whole house plan. I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me. He didn?t email my receipt until he tried to sell me the plan again when he came back to redo the work because he left one outlet undone. I the next time I will hire a different company.

They did good work, but you feel scammed by the process. Waived dispatch fee provides pressure to sign up for discounted rates with 1 year Advantage Plan. They priced whole house surge protection as an add on. I bought but I'd not planned on it. Next time, I'll try to find a small business that just quotes the job at hand and does it without all the upselling.

Christopher is great. He thoroughly explained the problem and the fix (written estimate provided). The work was quality and completed at the price quoted (I received quotes from 3 companies total). I have already spoken to him about several other projects I was putting off. I can’t recommend his work enough.

EV Charging Station Installation
These guys are the best! I had an EV charger installed and their bid beat the competition by $1k. They arrived when they said they would. They were respectful of our property and our time. There was great communication throughout. And their work was outstanding! The city inspector took five minutes, basically said "these guys obviously knew what they were doing," and he immediately signed off on the work. And Joe, our electrician, is friendly, creative, and efficient-- a real pro! I will definitely use Mr. Electric for all of our future electrical needs!
