They were very professional and thorough and took care of all the issues I had.

After purchasing the 'deal', I waited about a week and then I had to contact the firm to schedule the visit.  He apologized for not contacting me as he was supposed to. <br /> The electrician arrived on time. After discovering that a GFI receptacle was bad, they said installation of a new one was included in the labor, but the cost of a new receptacle and two single pole wall switches would be $75.  This is where they try to make their money - these three items at a Home Depot cost less than $25.  I declined. <br />

He was prompt and professional but he wasn't sure what the problem was and wanted to charge me about $250 to fix it when he wasn't even sure that what he was going to do was really what was wrong.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. The gentleman was polite. It was nothing spectacular. The light still works.

They contacted me shortly after I purchased the deal, I had three dates in mind and they were available on my time frame. They were prompt and courteous for the appointment. It took about two hours to complete the work with one technician. They did a great job and I was satisfied with the service.

It worked out okay. They were outlets and they work well. The interaction with the provide was fine. It was $99 plus $150 for parts. I would use them again.

We needed to have the back and   front door light fixture replaced,  work needed to be completed with 1 hr due to the coupon offer  . The back fixture was done with out any problem , but the front was not able since the screw was broken in the fixture .My only problem was that he did not take the fixture off ,I did it so that i could return it to the store .I Needed get some help to complete Job since store did replace the fixture . <br />

The guy was late by over a half an hour without a phone call. They were unable to resolve the problem as they said the problem made no sense. They said that our use of a generator is not up to code and they could not fix the issue. The owner was competent when talking to him and scheduling.

I just wanted a service technican to ensure that all was well with my unit.  The technician was a bit late (but I got a call from the owner prior explaining) but he was very knowledgeable and provided me with some information on how to keep the unit in proper order. <br /> I asked for a quote on a programmable thermostat and was given, seemed reasonable so once I do my research I may call them back to install. <br />

He arrived on time & was very nice. He upgraded dial thermostat to digital thermostat & changed out a non-working dimmer switch. I also asked about 3 other issues (that I knew couldn't be done during this visit but just wanted a ball park figure) & he was able to call into the home office & provide me with an estimate <br />

I purchased one of the $99.00 for two hours of electrical labor deals.  The technician arrived a half hour late due to a miscommunication between the owner and himself, however I was compensated for the time with free parts which I was very satisfied with. I am very happy with the outlet and I was especially impressed with how well he cleaned up after the installation!  I would definitely hire them again....thanks so much :) <br />

The owner showed up on time, and I reviewed the work that needed to be done with him, which was to install/modify a few breakers on our generator transfer switch panel.  I mentioned to him that, if needed, he could use the 15-amp <strong> </strong>breaker from the garage, which we no longer needed on our backup transfer switch panel.  At that time, his technician/employee arrived.   <br /> We all walked through the house together to discuss other possible projects.  We wanted to have two network cables run from the basement to two bedrooms on the second floor and a spotlight installed, which would shine on our driveway.  The two of them were very apprehensive about going into our attic, since the opening wasn't that large (30"x21").  We also have a cathedral ceiling in our master bedroom.  We had other contractors in the attic several times before, with no complaints.  The combination of the opening and the cathedral ceiling deterred them enough, that they <strong>quoted us a whopping $3,200</strong> to run the two network lines and to install the spotlight (actually, I am not even sure the spotlight installation was included in that verbal quote).  Yep, $3,200!  He said it was mostly labor.  I told him to forget it and that I would do it myself.   <br /> As for the work in the breaker boxes, the owner said that if his electrician goes over the pre-paid Angie's list one hour, that it would cost $65 per hour.  We were only talking about him installing three breakers.  The original electrician, who installed the transfer switch, was able to install three breakers in about 30 minutes.  I told him to stop at one hour, because there is no way it should take him longer than that.  The owner left and his electrician began working on the breakers in the basement.   <br /> After about 30 minutes, the electrician said he needed to run to Lowe's to purchase a 20-amp breaker.  We had to specifically ask him if there was going to be an extra charge.  He had to call the owner.  After a few minutes, he said that I would be charged $45 for the breaker.  He said that he didn't have any breakers of that model, with that amperage, in his truck.  At that point, he had only transferred one breaker (for the refrigerator) to the transfer switch panel.  I told him to forget it.  He then said that he would still have to charge me $40 for the breaker he just installed.  I asked what the amperage was on that one.  He said it was a 15-amp.  Wait, a 15-amp?  I told them earlier to use the 15-amp breaker (used for the garage) if needed.  He apparently had a 15-amp breaker in his truck and, without telling me he was going to install one of his own parts, he went ahead and installed it.  There is nothing like surprise charges when the job is complete.  I refused to give him $40, so he took $20.  I advised him to have the owner contact me if he wanted to try and get the other $20. <br /> In summary the technician was there for almost 2 hours and only installed 1 breaker.  Let's not forget the $3,200 he quoted me to run the 2 network cables. <br />

I liked it because they were here on time, did the job, fixed it and left. When I talked to the business owner on the phone he was good and understanding.

They were excellent. They just charged me a little bit for parts which was very reasonable but I was very happy with that. The service was well. They explained and did everything.

The front porch light went in without any problems.  The ceiling fan was a different story however, since we have an 100+ year old house with plaster.  The existing light fixture, was close to being a fire hazard, so we got that out in the nick of time.  Jerry (the tech) did a good job in making sure the fixture was up and installed correctly and sturdy.  He kept us informed of everything he was doing which we very much appreciated.  We bought the deal of $99 for 2 hours of electrical service, but since there were issues with our kitchen fixture, he charged us an extra $80 since he was there longer than 2 hours and we found that price to be more than fair.  <br /> We will use MRH Electrical for any future work. <br />

MRH Electrical Solutions LLC came out and he was very nice, very cordial and then said another service guy will do the work. He didn't do any of the work himself which was surprising because I was dealing with him. It was sort of a disappointment because I really like him. The person that worked for him also seemed knowledgeable but I don;t think he has the qualifications. It's a little bit disappointing but I don't think the job is done. I've done electrical work myself and the job looks fine, it looks correct. He's always here when he's supposed to be here. He had everything done but the finish. Everything else was done on time.

MRH Electrical Solutions was recommended to me by another contractor that was working on my home. When I called Mike, it was originally to remove 2 receptacles that were connected to studs that had to be replaced because of termite damage. While he was at my home, I inquired about having a ceiling fan and three recessed lights installed in our family room. Since the panelboard and insulation were already removed (I hate termites), he told me that this would be the time to make the changes we wanted.  <br /> Mike and his guys arrived on time and were very personable to my wife and I. They were also very helpful in making recommendations that we never would have thought of . We felt  comfortable leaving the house while they were inside working. They found a safety issue (a receptacle below a hvac return duct). I really didn't envy them when they were up in our attic crawl space on a humid day in late july! <br /> While working at the house we asked them to add outlets on either side of our fireplace mantle, to move our modem connection from the kitchen area into the spare bedroom and to add a new phone line in a more convenient area of our family room. <br /> All of the guys were great and we are very pleased with the electrical upgrades to our home. We will be using MRH Electrical Solution on future projects.
