Mr.Lock

Purchased a new deadbolt for our front door from local hardware store and tried to install myself.  After many unsuccessful attempts at fitting, realized that original deadbolt was installed and fitted improperly.  Called Garth at Mr. Lock and he arrived that same afternoon.  Garth chiseled our door and installed the deadbolt that I had purchased.  He made sure that everything fit and worked smoothly.   <br /> We called Garth again a week later to install a new lock on our back door.  He arrived promptly and on time (again!) and drilled a new hole in our door and installed new hardware.  Garth is knowledgeable, prompt, courteous, friendly, clean, and a pleasure to work with!  We are satisfied repeat customers and highly recommend him! <br />

Again, for an immediate service from day prior request, that was the largest selling point.  Then, his service call was less expensive than competitors in the area.  Lastly, he was very prompt with return call to book the service, on time day of and quick for the start of our work day.  Again, would highly recommend Mr. Lock (Garth) to anyone in need of locksmith services, emergency or otherwise. <br />

Some people might think $85.00 is too much to charge to unlock a vehicle.  Although a person should consider these factors: first, he traveled about 40 miles/ about a hour drive to reach my home.  Not all locksmiths would have done this.  Second, VW's are notoriously hard to unlock, some locksmiths will not even work on them.  Third,  prior to contacting Mr. Lock, I had contacted  the local (Greencastle) locksmith who tried a couple of methods, but gave up after approximately 30 minutes.  To his credit, he didn't charge me anything since he wasn't able to unlock the car.  Garth, on the other hand continuously tried different tools and methods until he found the correct combination to unlock the car.  Which sounds really simple right?  Not even close, Garth worked a solid 2.5 hours but refused to let the lock win :) .  While I did assist him in a minor capacity periodically , it was his skills and determination that was the key to success.  As a result, I was very happy with the quoted price, his level of professionalism, the promptness and quality of service.  I would not hesitate to use Mr. Lock again and would highly recommend them. <br />

I called Garth and discussed my lock concerns. He stated he was out on a call but would call in a bit and come over. He did just that called me and came over. I told him I wanted new locks and he suggested we re-key them and save money. He rekeyed and made me a motorcycle key. Garth explained a few things and is very knowledgeable in locksmithing. He didn't mess around and got to the task at hand .. Garth is very reasonable on price, plus he is fast and courteus . <br />

I needed locks changed on my office. I called and spoke to Garth himself. He arrived at 1pm, after we were back from lunch,as we requested. Garth was professional, well mannered, and punctual. He was done in less than 20 minutes and left me with 3 keys, so I didn't even have to have my assistant run and make copies! <br /> In the past, I've had experiences with locksmiths who looked less than savory. Garth was clean, well groomed, and not a tattoo in sight! He even held the door open for an elderly client. <br /> 5 Stars! <br />
