Marco is a pleasure to work with. No nonsense, straight forward support and very friendly. His crew is all pro. and throughout the project, despite the fact they completely gutted the bathroom, he kept it functioning every night so we could continue to live here while he worked.

Marco removed the cabinetry surround on the electrical panel in my finished basement, in preparation for a new panel install. Prior to replacing the cabinetry after the electrical panel replacement was complete, his crew removed the wall paper on two walls, textured and painted them. This room is now complete. Mr. Tapia, et al have done work for me before and continue to be my go-to contractor in Vancouver.

Marco was always very responsive. He also took the time to explain every aspect of the project as it progressed. I’m very happy with the way the finished product looks.

Marco and his crew did a great job remodeling my bathroom and installing flooring in my kitchen, hallway and bathroom. They showed up when they said they would, and worked hard when they were here. Marco kept me informed about when the work would be done. He responded to my texts promptly. He and his crew were very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

During our initial meeting, I had expected that I would need to replace the entire floor in the house, but, in reviewing the damage, he felt that it could be repaired. This made the job easier and much quicker to complete. Marco and his team did an amazing job. I was not 100% sure of the details of the wainscoting design, and Marco worked with me to help me understand the pros and cons of what could be done. The finished work is amazing - it truly transformed my house. In particular, I want to call out the painting - I’ve never seen such detailed paint work. Marco and his team will definitely be back for future work at my house.

One of the best parts about working with Mr. Tapia is his responsiveness. He always texted or called me back. I never had to wait long to get answers to my questions, or reassurance that things were going well. (Remodeling can be a bit stressful, Marco made this much less stressful). He also is very honest about how busy he is and when he can realistically get to the job. When I had to get flooring done by a certain date, he ended up doing it himself to make sure it got done on time. (It has been a crazy summer for remodeling in portland this year with a scarcity of workers). The workers that Mr. Tapia hired to work on my house projects were amazing professionals! Having remodeled a few houses before, I have a pretty good idea of what quality workmanship looks like, and Marco's crew does excellent work! All of the walls in my house are perfect: clean, perfectly textured, smooth and beautiful. Mr. Tapia knows good quality and likes to make sure that all the details of the job are done and done well. The gentlemen that made the kitchen cabinetry did a beautiful job, with a gorgeous butcher block island and each cabinet detail finished and perfect. I highly recommend hiring Mr. Tapia for your next house project!

Marco is a great find. His work is quality, he is punctual and was considerate of our time, kept the work area very clean and we have no hesitations to recommend him--and he will be our first call for the next improvement project we have.

It went extremely well... got all the needed workers to do a full remodeling of the house... interior and exterior... laying the hardwood floors, replacing the siding, including the one for the chimney. Made useful and money-saving suggestions, like a new kitchen island made out of stock furniture. But also deferred to my own decisions like the colors in the family-room and kitchen. Helped scouting and finding good deals on materials and furniture. Always eager to deliver the best work, also had the experience to avoid pitfalls. Above all, I appreciated he was savvy about the work to be done, and yet, heard out my input and particular tastes.

Mr. Tapia was originally hired to paint the exterior of the house, yet he did such a good job, with attention to detail and eye for design, that we hired and trusted him with many other projects to update the home. He was punctual and completed projects in a timely manner.  He worked with us and found ways for us to save through different design ideas. In the window installation he made sure we preserved and repaired the original casing classic to an older home. He also preserved the exterior of the home as we were able to keep the nice wood siding and he replaced siding by piece just as needed before painting.  He does great carpentry and updated the kitchen cabinets with custom molding.
