"In response to the complaint and review that was received by the customer our rebuttal is as follows. The customer is complaining of the electrical work that was done by a separate subcontractor paid for by the customer held money back on the job until the electrician did as she requested. They had a meeting and went over the stuff that at that point needed to be done the electrician completed that work and was paid. The work she is replying to that need to be hooked up was attempted many times but due to the customer purchasing the wrong items and many trips by the guys to hook it up was not complete if the right stuff was there it would been done. This customer has contacted our workers several times to help her with other projects and continues to. There was trades worked out on tools tractors and other stuff that we probably don't realize for additional work so I don't understand the problem with poor workmanship. The house was full of animals cats mainly we worked around that was continuously using the cabinets and floors for their personal litter boxes that was an everyday deal. The floors where basically tore up before we even left due to the animals in the house constant cleaning would not help them to begin with and no paint was sprayed after the floors where in. The discount mentioned for materials is obscured no lumber yard gives a 30% discount for anything at all there was never a mention of a thirty percent discount what was mentioned was the materials would be at cost of what they charge a contractor no mark up like most due. The real reason the project got out of hand was the house was in terrible shape and every time something was removed ten times that had to be fixed due to existing damage that was unforeseen. The customer has been confronted on this issue by one the guys that she continuously contacted for work who has went out there numerous times fixing and repairing things along with doing new projects for her. The customers reply was she didn't care she wanted to be a thorn in our side continuously. There is documented text messages from her praising the guys workmanship and handling of the job. The trash issue is ridiculous there was a dumpster left on the premises free of charge for ample of time to clean up even the homeowners personal trash. The site was clean before anything or anyone left the job. The crew worked and worked on the house to make it a better place at the end of the day it is hard to please everyone that being said we do our best and try to accomplish our goals which is customer satisfaction. The problem is it cost a lot of money to remodel or build a home today especially in these times of pricing sometimes people don't understand the cost. The objects that need fixed we have no problem fixing but the 30% discount is in no way going be resolved. The labor was paid by the homeowner we worked daily on this job the materials where purchased by the homeowner therefore everything that was done was approved and gone over with the homeowner who said do what's best for the house to fix it that's the route we took. The house was totally remodel minus two bedrooms and one bath for this list to be as short as it is that is not bad for what it could of been."
"Regarding this client and the problems are strongly related to using the material that they had already purchased. The door worked fine and would of even worked better with a new set of hardware which we asked for numerous of times and was told it's not that bad it is fairly new. Second of all the countertop was coming apart sink was to small and the customer was made aware of this. Agian it's just a rent house do what you can I am out of town. Schedules were an almost impossible task to make appointments everything else come first until it was convenient for her. I as a business owner should of never worked on this project but was begged to do it because I can't get anyone else to call me back. Should of been warning enough I lost money on this particular project and didn't even charge the full time we was there. This customer would not work with us to help fix the problem instead demanded money back and threatened if they were not reimbursed they would tell everyone how bad of a company we were. I don't believe if we would of purchased this customer a new home they would still complain it's a sad society when people care more about throwing rocks and trashing people's good reputations rather than working it out. Thanks David Mohler Owner"
