I was not itemized, I did not received an itemized billing or the work that was done nor warranty of work or a statement of hourly wage. I was overcharged on a bill due to them to not communicating with me about my billing statement.

Zero professionalism. They rescheduled with us 6 times to come back and fix our pipes and we had to initiate communication for each time they rescheduled, they weren’t going to let us know. They then cut off communication and never showed up for the next job. We waisted an entire day waiting for them.

The job did not go well. He said the work was done on the hot water tank. stated he would come out to finish the installation the kitchen faucet and clean the bathroom water lines to get the water to flow properly on Monday. When he said the water tank takes 1 hour to heat i waited 2 hours and checked the hot water does not work. I informed him and he said he would come back. So, I texted to see what time is he arriving to fix the non-working water tank he said after the job he is on. He was not giving me an accurate time to come back and then not responding at all. I had an important meeting and was getting frustrated. I have the thread of texts that state the job the cost and my frustration.

I posted on Angi.com and Sean from M&S Wholesale called me within minutes. He told me that he does this exact job 2-3 times a month. I hired him to start the next day. He came the next day with a woman helper to get started. He came a couple more times but hours after he said that he would be here. I have had to get others to come in to fix some of what he did. I still have to get someone to work on the water and gas lines. Here is what he did and what was not to code. Water lines - run between 2 pipes where it is against code to have anything between them. Gas line - run from furnace line using the same shut off. Code says that nothing can run from the furnace line. Electrical - he used no junction boxes. The wires in the basement were hanging with wires exposed and electrical tape that he wrapped them with had come off and was all over the floor. Where he put the outlets in they were just a tangle of wiring. Luckily the breaker kept tripping so my house didn’t catch on fire. The electrician who fixed it for me said that he had never seen such a mess. Vent line - he ran my vent with flexible venting that was swagged across the ceiling with big dips. I am not sure if there is an exact code for this but there is no way that it would have worked the way it was installed. I paid Sean in cash as he insisted. $300 at the end of the first day and then $1000 a couple days later. I know that I should have inspected his work but I don’t know all these codes to look for. On July 27th he was supposed to come to install a hot water heater and fix the electric problem. He never showed up. I sent him a text that I would get someone else to do it. It was after that that I learned about all the botched work that he did. People from Angi kept asking for a booking number but I never had that. Sean kept referring to his boss but my guess is that he’s actually working alone. The business reported themselves as bonded and insured. I checked the reviews and the only negatives were timeliness and that they wanted to be paid in cash. Maybe the other reviews were written by the business?

The job was done correctly, but he way under estimates the time it will take to complete a job. The first contact he told me he would come to my house between 2:30-4 he made no contact with me saying he would not be able to make it (it turned out the job he was doing that day took longer than expected and didn't get done until 9 p.m.) gave me a quote of $1200 and said he would be able to do the work on Friday at 11 a.m. well 11 came and went and told me he should be at my house around 1 p.m. contacted me at 5 and said they just got done and could be at my house at 830 the next day and will take about 3 hrs. He ended up showing up almost 9 and finished the job at almost 7 p.m. The positives about him is he stuck to his quote and was very polite.

Excellent. They were punctual, friendly and the quality of work is good. It was also refreshing that the price I was quoted was what I had to pay even though it wound up being a slightly more difficult project than expected.

Great and fair

Sean the plumber responded quickly and quoted me the price of $525 to install the unit with me buying the materials. After completing the installation he wanted to be paid in cash so I went to an ATM to withdraw money and he followed me there. As I counted out the bills into his hand, I mistakenly counted out the entire amount I withdrew, including the $200 I withdrew for myself, so he received $725, $200 too much. He never said anything as I counted it all out. He left, and shortly afterwards I realized my stupid mistake and texted him right away. He acknowledged the mistake and said he would bring me the money. Several dates and times were agreed on for him to come to my house to return the money but he never showed. My calls to him went straight to voicemail and he never returned my messages, thus avoiding me. He still owes me the. $200.

Quick and professional removal and installation! Also replaced cold water galvanized pipe running from main to water heater with pex. Will consider using M&S in the future to replace remaining galvanized pipes in the future.

From 1-5, 5 being the highest they got 10. They stayed on the job until it was fixed and they fix every problem. I'm thankful that you refer them.
