All went well until I finished paying for job. He never come back to complete the last step of the job. He needs to cut control joints so the cement will not crack. The initial job was completed on 9.17.23 and has not returned to cut the joints. I have a string of texts where he promises to come back but never does. He is always too tired from other jobs, on another bigger job or out of town. He already stated it only takes maximum 20 minutes to cut the joints. Why not swing by and do it before going on to "bigger jobs". I do not even need to be present for the final step of the job. On 10.9 I called in and spoke w/your rep who reached out to him, and he reported he would be coming out between 10.9 - 10.14. When your rep reported his response, I explained that is always his excuse. When Monday 10.16 came and went I was not surprised he had not come to complete the service he was contracted to do. I reached out to Angi on 10.18 with no resolution. I no longer wish for him to dawn on my footsteps. I simply want Angi to become responsible for referring this unprofessional man to me by sending someone to finish the job at no cost. After all your announcement claim you vet all your professionals for the highest quality in work and service. There is no need for a patron to have to run after a contractor to finish a job. After all, he even lied to one of your reps with the same excuse he has been giving me for over month.

"I went out October 13, 2023 at 8:30am to complete your job, I have proof of completion of job with cuts done for control joints. You forced me to work on a Sunday for concrete when I had already scheduled for Wednesday, I lost money for that because I had to cancel. I told you directly Ms [Member Name Removed] that I was not making money on your job. You promised to keep me busy and turned out you wanted a handout on the concrete steps you wanted done. You state you don’t want me to go back, but in fact I would not ever go back, you did not pay me upfront before I started the job, I took a risk and I guarantee no other contractor would do that. I do have a text message stating that I was professional and you liked my work and I know my craft and I do good work. But just because I didn’t complete the other jobs you wanted a handout for, you bad reviewed me. It’s sad that you would do on your part."

Mtz was exceptional, then his assistance or ban, have a plan to solve my problem with my driveway. He and his assistant worked professionally and completed the job within four hours. I recommend MTZ for all concrete works.

I had been calling around to local businesses and everyone either took too long to schedule or wouldnt come out to where i live but when i called benjamin he was such a sweet guy and right away said yes theres no job too big too small and i really needed my patio done for my shindigs this summer. He is is a very honest guy and very reasonably priced and a very hard worker. I later found out he lived in bowling green and i felt that was such a great thing to travel all the way out to my house in lee county to do my patio for me and we can have a spot to boogie. He did a beautiful job and i love his attention to detail. I would hire him again and will recommend him to everyone i know.
