I would like to share my experience with Multi-Tech Enterprises, Inc., specifically with Mr. Ron Hedges. I do not have any issue with the services performed, but with his business practices. We are out of state and needed repairs made to a house my father owned. We hired Mr. Hedges to look at a problem with a 30-amp breaker. Mr. Hedges repaired the problem quickly and at a reasonable price. I received his invoice on a Thursday and I mailed the payment the same day. Eight days after we received and paid the invoice, my wife and I received separate emails. A quote from my wife’s email: “I am just letting you know on Monday i am putting a lein on that property which will include attorny fees and court cost.” A quote from my email: “…I am the type of business that is willing and can spend 10.000.00 to get 168.00.” There was no discussion about alternatives, such as a credit card payment, PayPal, or Venmo, only a threat of a mechanics lien on the property, after 8 days.
