The service went very well. He was over booked but he continued to contact me. Once he was able to get out, it worked great. The price was actually less than what he quoted because it took him so long to do the work.  Overall, I was pleased with the service.

Perhaps my expectations were too high. He was very obliging and most affable, but I didn't get the results I was looking for.

Mr. Velarde is a true craftsman. He knows old buildings and how to fix them. I feel I can trust him in my home alone. I have hired him to do other projects and advanced him funds for materials. The only negative I have with Mr. Velarde is his being on a time schedule. If you are a "New York" type Mr. Velarde may not be the best match. But if you want a job done right I would recommend Mr. Velarde.

I contracted with Samuel after he completed another job for me which I was very pleased with the results. There was delay partially due to his misunderstanding that I wanted a door with a window in it. A special order was placed for the door which I prepaid upon placing the order. There were a few delays in getting the door installed after the door was received with Samuel rescheduling several times. The door was installed very well and Samuel made several suggestions to improve the installation since the existing frame was out of square. Overall I was very pleased. <br />

As far as professionalism, he was great. He has very good communication skills. He would contact you and let you know what's going on. He would call me twice a day. He would text me images of the work that was being done. On the drywall work part, I thought he did a really good job. The tape lines were good. He did a really good job. He did a very good job for the price that he was charging so his charges were very good. He's not a perfectionist. He built us a patio and he he built it incorrectly. I'm not a contractor but I know just by looking at what I have in my own house compared to what he did. I would recommend him. I would use him in the future.

We had some trouble scheduling the appointment.  He was scheduled for 10 am this morning.  It is now 2 and he has not shown up. 

Samuel returned my call promptly and came out the following morning to give an estimate and complete the work.  He was pleasant, extremely knowledgeable, and worked quickly.  My garage has never been so organized!  I already have two more jobs lined up with him.  He is replacing my back door today and will be repairing/repouring some concrete in my back yard in the near future. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I am so glad I am a member of Angie's list which enabled me to find this gentleman's services. <br />

Everything went well.  The gentleman was very nice, friendly, and respectful in our dealings.  In addition, he was honest about what could and could not be accomplished, got right to work, and did a quality job on all of the tasks.  We're quite happy with the results.

Paul did a professional job and used his time wisely.  He was easy to work with and listened well.  Because he was busy with other work and the job itself can not be finished in one day, he spread the work out, coming in on the weekend to complete it.  He worked independently, using the key I supplied.  Our communication problems were not serious ones; rather, the difficulties were caused by both of us being very busy and moving about fairly often.  Thankfully, we both persisted in our attempts to get reach one another. <br /> Paul gave me excellent advice about another job I had, which he openly acknowledged was outside his skill set.  He also told me that he had a lot of plumbing experience.  Based on the results of the tile job and his behavior toward me, I will be calling him again and have already handed on his contact information to several friends. <br />

Paul contacted me to let me know why the company had fallen behind a bit on jobs and that he would stand behind getting the work completed in a timely manner. In view of the -out-of-one's control circumstances the company personnel have experienced and his willingness to come on Sunday I had no problem accepting having them continue with doing the work.  Paul arrived, looked over what I needed and we went to the store for supplies. He was professional, courteous and genuinely very respectful. He went right to work and work solidly until everything was done. When any problem or question arose about ways the work could be done he asked before proceeding. I am very pleased with everything he did and would definitely look to him in the future for projects needing an expert touch. I believe the cost was fair for the work completed and there was no delaying to add more cost to the hours spent on the jobs. <br />

I called Sam yesterday afternoon.  He was here at 10am today.  He worked quickly, effiecintly, yet he took the time to be sure he found the studs.  Placed extra cabinet screws to insure it stayed put!  He was friendly.  After he was finished we began "talking" and he realized he'd gone to school with one of my brothers.   <br /> I definitely will call him again.  THANKS, SAM! <br />

It went well. They were done in about an hour and a half and took the old hood with them. I had reservations because I had quotes for three times as much. They did a great job and everything works well. Would use them again any time. <br />

Steve and Sam arrived on time and quickly figured out the best way to route all of our computer wires from the top of our built in desk to underneath so we could hide the wires and the computer tower and have more room on our desktop.  They ran and got the parts they needed and finished the job quickly.  The work was done very professionally - it looks like the desk was designed this way.  Steve and Sam were very friendly and professional and we will definitely call on them the next time we have a project! <br />

The provider called me before arriving and was on time.  We went over the fence repairs needed and went to the local lumberstore to purchase the materials.  He used his  truck to bring them back to my site, unloaded the pickets and went to work.  He worked until 8:30 pm to complete the job.  I paid him extra to haul away the broken pickets to the dump for me.  I also had him put strips to cover the gaps between pickets.  Those were screwed in rather than nailed.  It was a large fence and he completed the work that day.  I was very satisfied with the service. <br />
