I have had Murphy's do all my plumbing maintenance and service since at least 1999. They are prompt, knowledgeable, neat and courteous.

They are available all the time, you just have to call them and they show up.

Murphy's Plumbing replaced a portion of our sewer line. Jeff presented us with a cost efficient and minimally invasive solution, involving running our line above ground and under our oil tank. He assured us this is "not a big deal". Other plumbers were more alarmist recommending tearing up a lot of our concrete floor or even draining and removing our oil tank to run the line under ground. Steve and crew were extremely efficient and clean, completing the work exactly as expected and on time. Listening to the crew work in the basement, I could tell they are very concerned with doing quality work and have a lot of pride for their trade. Sewer issues are miserable, but Murphy's presented a level-headed and simple solution and took the stress our of the problem. I hope we never need a plumber again, but the reality is we will be hiring them again!

Serviceman was on time, professional, helpful. He did an excellent job. He also took a look at a few other things, made recommendations, one of which we can do ourselves. The price seem reasonable considering the time he spent at the house. <br />

Murphy's also did a great job on my kitchen remodel last year. Everyone loves the design and it allows more light throughout the house. Jeff and his team are very professional.

I love my renovations and had a great experience with Murphy's.  They were straight forward and trustworthy.  I was home during the renovation and the crew they employed made me feel very comfortable.  In the year since the renovations, we have had slight issues -- popped trim in one place, leaky faucet.  All were fixed without any cost with in a day or so of my making the issue known. I referred my mother-in-law to them for her renovation and they gave her the best quote + created a new home that she loves.  Would highly recommend them. <br />

I really liked their customer service. The customer service rep told me that there wasn't anyone available at the time I called, but she would put me in top priority. The person who finished early came out to my place and was there within a few hours after I called. He assessed the situation and told me what he had to do and was upfront with me on the cost to fix it. He waited for equipment to come from the company and fixed the problem immediately. He also checked everything thoroughly and gave me good pieces of advise. He was very professional and cost was reasonable compared to competitor's prices.

<p>Murphy?s recently completely renovated our bathroom.  Their superb workmanship has given us a beautiful bathroom.  Murphy?s always strives to please and satisfy the customer.  Their carpenters and plumbers are very personable, professional, creative, and outstanding in their work.  Carpenter Mike and plumber Mike enjoyed their work and excelled at it.  They were very clean with the work and always wanting to please the customer was evident.</p> <p>Jeff was always willing and ready to make adjustments for preventing allergy reactions to the work, made accommodations for our having just one bathroom, and when questioned about shelves in the shower and tub area, suggested a built in shelf in the wall.</p> <p>Crown Flooring Co., and Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery were also quite talented in coordinating tile colors and fixtures.</p> <p>We highly recommend Murphy?s for remodeling bathrooms.</p> <p>Thanks Murphy?s for the new bathroom.  We love it!</p> <br />

We had lower bids.  But the truth is we turn our air conditioning all the time and my energy costs are fair.  I like their customer service.  They come out every year.  They check up the systems and do a system cleaning.  They gave me a quality service and a quality product.  They were wonderful.  It was a lot of money for me and they understood that.  They were empathetic for that.  They were very cautious and were very clean.  It was an excellent value.  I wouldn’t use anybody else.

They were very efficient. The work was satisfactory.

In January or February we had our basement and the master bedroom redone by another contractor and the plumber who did the plumbing was actually the guy who came from Murphy's. So it was somebody I knew which was nice, and he actually knew where the pin hole of where the master bathroom was. He was familiar with the plumbing there. They were professional. The only thing was it was a little expensive.

We lost A/C on the morning of the 4th of July and figured I could not get anyone out here before Monday, when it was to be very hot & humid.  I tried calling Murphy's and a technician was at my home in less than 30 minutes after I hung up the phone!  He was so nice and professional.  He diagnosed our issue right away and gave us advice and left us with a nice cool home!  I've never had faster and easier service for anything in my home like this! <br />

Noticing some water leaking out of the cold water handle for my shower,  I attempted to remove the handle and check for problems myself. Of course, the screw that held it on got stripped in the process. Knowing my luck with do it yourself repairs, I stopped there. about 10 seconds into the repair, and started calling different plumbers in the area. Murphy's was the only one able to respond that day. I called at 12 and their tech was at my home within a few hours. After I said I really hoped to get it all fixed and squared away before my wife came home to this mess and got mad at me, the receptionist took pity on me and got me on the schedule for that afternoon. <br /> The repair tech arrived a little after 4. After explaining the problem to him we agreed he'd replace both the cold and hot water valves and also replace the shutoff valves under the kitchen sink, which hadn't been working well for awhile. Things that prolonged and complicated the job were that I really did strip the h*** out of that screw, and that my hot and cold water were embedded in the cement backing for the tile. This meant some of the material would have to be chipped away to remove and replace the faulty parts. The tech never lost a beat and seemed totally confident  about his ability to get the job done. <br /> I was nervous about damaged tile, the stubborn screw, collateral damage, or other complications. But he got the job done in a timely fashion and left the rest of my bathroom just like he found it. He drilled the screw for the faucet handle out and chipped away enough cement to work on the faucets without damaging or disturbing anything else. He was courteous, professional, personable, and efficient. The price was a tad high at just over 600 dollars for two shower valves and two sink shutoff valves. But I also know I got excellent service on 4 hours notice that stretched past normal business hours from what appears to be a reputable and well established business. That doesn't come cheap so I can't complain too much. <br /> I was happy with my repairs and absolutely will call on Murphy's to handle my plumbing needs again in the future. <br />

I couldn't be happier. We had contacted two other plumbers for quotes. Got one other estimate for the work. The cost was about the same. When I met with the Murphy's representative (Gavin) for advice and free estimate, I was impressed with the detail of explanation of options and the time spent answering questions and even looking at areas in the house not related to the repairs needed. I especially appreciated that he did not pressure at all for most costly repair. I felt he was honest and respectful and skilled. The job itself went without a hitch--prompt, courteous, knowledgeable workmen who answered any and all questions and did a first rate job. We are extremely pleased with the new tub/shower plumbing. The plumber put tags on the valves in the basement that were not identified and showed me where everything was. They cleaned up beautifully, used drop cloths, shoe coverings. What more can I say. I decided to contract with them for annual maintenance of plumbing, AC and Heating.
