Murray's Tree Service has been building relationships with residential and commercial customers in Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough counties in the Tampa Bay area with a full range of tree care services including all types of tree pruning, trimming, cleaning, diagnosis, treatment, fertilizing, complete tree removal, stump grinding, construction site tree management and preservation ever since. Tim is very professional. If I had a question he would return my call very fast. I had a big oak tree removed and trees trimmed at a rental property. This was done in about five hours. My neighbor had a bad experience with another company. They were lifting a section of the tree which broke lose and fell on her roof and smashed her bedroom window. That company was not licensed and did not know what they were doing. My son recommended Murray's tree service and I am glad he did. I would never use another tree service only Murray's. Murray's Tree Service was fantastic! Each crew member had a job and completed it with professionalism. This tree removal was in a tight area with very little margin for error. The job was done perfectly! Everything was completed as quoted and no mess left behind. I would recommend Tim Murray and his team to anyone who wants a job well done with professionalism and a reasonable price!

They were wonderful. Explained all the details of what needed to be done and what trees could be left as is. I very much appreciated not just the work but the general landscaping advice. Would love to hire them again when my trees grow out again.

I got four estimates and chose Murray's Tree Service because they have excellent references in the neighborhood and their bid was competitive. They secured permits, removed two large trees, ground the stumps and put the fence back in place. No damages, thorough clean-up, and no extra charges despite the job taking somewhat longer than estimated. Would definitely use again.

I think I already reviewed this company. Their pricing was good. They were on time, worked quickly and cleaned up afterwards. You would never know they had been there except that the trees looked so good.

Seemingly unknown to many, neighbors in the city of St Pete are not permitted to simply cut off any overhang of grand live oaks. It was important to me to have a certified arborist determine how to best work with my neighbor while protecting the health of the tree. That's what I got with Tim Murray and his crew. Top notch professional with all of the right equipment to get the job done safely & efficiently. I would call Murray's Tree Service again without hesitation.

I contacted the company the beginning of October and left a message. Tim called me back and made an appointment to give me an estimate the following week. He came out early and gave me what I thought was a fair estimate. He also took the time to explain why the trees needed to be trimmed a certain way. He said it would be about 6 weeks before they could get to me because of the hurricane, which was fine. The original date for the work was for 11/20 but there was a glitch somewhere so they came out 11/21 (I did get a call explaining the situation). The crew worked quickly and efficiently and did everything that needed to be done. The trees look great, especially the arborvitae which had a lot of dead branches in the middle of them. The clean-up was amazing - not only did they dispose of all the branches but they cleared everything off the roof and driveway. Except for the fact that the trees look much better, you would never know they had been here. I've included a picture of the tree limb that was over our roof. There is about 5 feet between the tree itself and our roof. The limb then went straight up about 5 feet, so it was huge. That's also the area where our utility wires connect to the house.

They were recommended by my homeowners association. The price was fair. I had one stump I asked them to grind but they forgot it and I did too. Other than that everything was fine. The quality of the work was outstanding. I had to wait but I said that was fine. I called them about a month earlier but they were just overwhelmed after the storm. They came right on time when they said they would.

We had a small orange tree, a large cactus tree, and an oak tree trimmed for $900. The job was completed very nicely. The area was cleaned up. We were very pleased with the work and will definitely use Murray's Tree Service again.

This is the second time we have used Murray's Tree Service. We have truly never been more impressed by any type of contractor than we were by Murray's! Their skill, professionalism, attention to detail and customer service was fantastic. It was also downright entertaining to watch the teamwork as they climbed the tree, tied ropes and chose cuts to make branches move around obstacles and fall right where they wanted them to. Their cleanup was excellent as well. Thanks to Tim and his highly skilled and accommodating crew!

Tim and his crew (Todd, Jay, Uriel and John, a.k.a. "Ninja") did a great job. Our main concern was a large laurel oak with limbs hanging over our house and patio. They trimmed the weight off the branches so we have been able to stop worrying about windy weather. Tim is an arborist so he knows what can be removed without hurting the tree. Our problem was solved and the tree still looks nice. In addition, we had a crape myrtle that died from a lightning fire and they were able to cut all the limbs off, cut the roots and literally pull the trunk out of the ground with some of their equipment. They also removed 6 overgrown Bird of Paradise plants and ground the stumps. They had to take the tires off the stump grinder to get it in the back yard, but they still managed to do the job. This crew is like a well-oiled machine. Every person worked nonstop and when they were finished all the debris was gone. From the estimate to the completion of the job we couldn't have asked for better service. This is the 2nd time we've used Murray's and we don't even bother calling anyone else for estimates anymore.

The owner, Tim came by to give me an estimate of removing 4 dead pine trees. He quoted me $800.00 and I jumped on it. They removed all 4 trees and cleaned up the place perfectly....all in a bout 3 hours. I couldn't of asked for Italy better. I am very pleased.

My neighbor was griping because she didn't like the palm fronds hanging over the fence. Usually, I trim it myself, but it has gotten too high for me to do safely. It's a big job for me, but a really small job for a pro, and I was concerned that it wouldn't be worth anyone's time. <br /> I talked to Tim on the phone and he agreed to come out when he had a job already lined up in the area, to keep the costs down. He arrived first thing Monday morning and trimmed the fronds as well as some coconuts that might have fallen onto the neighbor's property. It was quick & his crew was friendly. I'd certainly use them again for other tree services. <br />

The experience with Murray's Tree Service was great. Beginning from scheduling the estimate, to the completion of the work, they were thorough and clearly focused on customer satisfaction. All of the work to be performed was clearly itemized on the estimate sheet and was completed as recorded. Before departing, debris from their work was cleaned from the lawn, sidewalk, and driveway. <p>Murray's did a fine job trimming the large live oak tree; and they successfully killed the plant that was overtaking another large oak by cutting a 3 ft swatch around the root system of the overtaking plan--a philodendron I believe. They were punctual, and removed all debris.</p> <p>However, Mr Murray promised to inject the pine tree and was never able, per his report, to get the injection and never injected the tree. He said he would work on it and get back to me. He was also to come back and get paid for trimming a tall palm. I then left multiple phone calls and texts for him to obtain the status of the tree injection--he never returned my calls for about a 6 month period. I have also tried to call him again w/in the last 3 months to follow-up re: pine tree and palm, and to obtain an estimate for new work on another large oak. I left messages twice--none were returned.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>My major issue w/ Murrays was his lack of courtesy in getting back to me--even if it were to say that he was unable to get the injection for the tree and then to appropriately refer me to another service that could treat the pine tree.</p> <br />
