Overall, it went good. The project was delayed a few days due to completion of another job and then the equipment broke during the process.

The work performed was good, but now, 5 months later, a gentleman has showed up at my door demanding to be paid for the concrete that was delivered. He claims that MVC, Frank Correa, never paid him and that if I don't pay him the $1100 , he will be putting a lien on my house. I called, texted, and emailed MVC, Frank Correa, to hopefully clear up the issue, and provide documentation that he paid the subcontractor. However, five days later, he still hasn't responded. The subcontractor showed me text messages where he tried to contact MVC to get paid, but Frank Correa never responded to him either. I would not use this company unless you want to worry about having a lien put on your house when he doesn't pay his subcontractors.

"That man is a con man. Why would he wait five months to ask to be paid. I have no order form or contract with him providing the Concrete. He is a middle man between companies expecting commission off concrete sales. I have provided you a receipt with paid in full. My lack of response was because I was out of the country on vacation. I apologize for your inconvenience. If you have any questions or issues with him let me know. He has not tried to contact me at all by the way."

ABOVE EXCELLENT. MVC Concrete is everything you want in a construction company. Frank Correa came by on the weekend to review the need and provide an estimate because it was the best timing for me. That was the first of several steps where they delivered beyond expectations. Next his price was good, the options he offered were great. We arrived at a estimate and bid and I even changed my mind to add color and a rock salt finish and we worked together on that change. He explained how I need a footer on the concrete to keep the patio from moving and how the type rebar that would be used. The scheduling of the job was a challenge too because we were working through some foundation repair also. Frank and his team stayed flexible until we got the foundation work done and his team was here the next day to do an amazing patio job. WOW. Not sure how much more concrete work I will do. Frank and I discussed a retaining wall, new side walk, anything concrete they are the company I will use. The finished product looks amazing. They gave me instructions on how to care for it the next couple of days to get the best result. MVC Concrete gets an A rating from me only because a higher rating is not available.

I used Frank in April and was so impressed we hired his company again. My wife and I decided on an extension of our front porch and a walkway to our pool. Frank and his guys were just a punctual, efficient and professional as the first time hired. He always returned my calls and was extremely fair on the price.

I claimed one of the “Angie’s List” deals and the owner Frank Correa contacted me promptly and came out to give me a bid because I had to pay additional money beyond the deal offered due to the square footage of my driveway. His price was one of the lower estimates I had received for this type of work and this may have been due to the “Angie’s List deal.” The job itself went well and Frank was responsive throughout the process when I had questions. There were a few minor issues that came up, but I brought them up to Frank and he made sure the issues were taken care of.

The owner, Frank Correa, was extremely professional, competent, knowledgeable and personable. Although his company had other jobs (a significant distance from my home) he remained for approximately 85% till completion. He provided me his cell number and was very gracious when I called later about a minor issue.

Frank Correa and his crew were great to work with. Final price matched his estimate which I considered very reasonable considering all the demo work, prep, and final pouring of the driveway and finish work. They were careful not to damage the inground sprinkler system running along the driveway on both sides and cleaned up when the job was done. Also, Frank recommended the install of a drain pipe (at no charge) under the new driveway to avoid water damage over the years from a home downspout. We have received several compliments on the new driveway from our neighbors and others. I recommend hiring MVC Concrete and Stone Construction for your project.

Wonderful from start through finish. Frank was great to work with. We had specific needs for leveling the driveway for our camper and clearance for a carport. Frank and his crew planned it out and made it work perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with the finished product! And it was 20% less than other quotes.

Other than a 2-week delay getting the building permit approved by the city, the project went very well. The old concrete driveway was 30 plus years old and cracked due to age and little to no re bar support. The contractor removed the old concrete and had the forms set up to pour within a few days. After the city approval, the concrete was poured the next day and it turned out great.

Thye clogged my sewer with concrete. They fixed it, but it was a pain.
