Using Thermal Imaging and moisture probes to find the water others don't and then specialized Thermal Drying Equipment to dry the structure without totally gutting your home if possible. The business owner, Rich, was very helpful in determining the type of cleaning needed for our carpet. He showed up at the designated time and completed the job (cleaning about 700 square feet of our carpeted basement) in 3 hours. We are very pleased with the finished result. Rich was very careful to protect areas of flooring that weren't involved in the cleaning. He moved all furniture during the cleaning, and returned it to the orginal positions when done. He did an excellent job of disposing of waste water and other materials. There was nothing we needed to do when he was finished other than to enjoy our clean carpet! We will definitely call on him again when the need arises.

We had a significant staining and odor problem on one area of carpet in our Rockville condo, and found My Carpet Cleaning on Angi. They were quick to respond and sent someone the next day. Because the affected hall area was small, they cleaned carpet in the hall and surrounding rooms to make it worth the minimum charge of $300 plus $100 fee for bringing portable equipment to the apartment (several trips).
The service provider was courteous and efficient. I plan to use MCC again to repair a vinyl flooring issue.

Burst pipe and flooded basement? Who ya gonna call? You cannot do better than to call My Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Service: proprietor Rich Gakaivian and his helpers (Ahmet and Ahmet) arrived quickly when that unfortunate situation occurred at our home near Aspen Hill, MD hon 1/24/26 and provided superb immediate mitigation, staying until the 3” of accumulated water was fully pumped out, setting up a dehumidifier fully dry the unfinished basemen t’s cement floor. sweeping The next day’s area-wide immobilizing snow and ice storm and delayed plowing left our street impassable for a couple of days, but as soon as conditions allowed the crew returned to sweep the dried floor and complete haulaway of the many large contractor bags of unsalvageable debris. Today Ahmet and Ahmet returned to complete the restoration phase by installing new insulation in place of that which had been drenched by the water pouring from the burst pipe. Throughout the process, including during the weather-driven delay, Rich maintained regular communication re conditions at his end and anticipated timing for finishing the job, effectively eliminating any frustrations attending the unavoidable delays. All in all, My Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Service has been a great company to work with—friendly, competent, honest, and reasonably priced … who could ask for more? I cannot heap enough praise on this company. Definitely 5 stars out of 5. Bonus: While unrelated to the original contracted mitigation/restoration service, after finishing Ahmet offered while here to repair a shaky door that has been a problem we’ve just put up with for some years at a very reasonable price. We jumped on that, and now done and done. So make that 6 stars out of 5!

Rich was a true professional from the walk through and estimate to performing the carpet cleaning. He explained the process and is very reasonably priced. He cleaned the carpet of a 3 story townhome. The carpet had not been cleaned for many years. The carpet looks like new after the cleaning. It took approximately 4 hours to complete the job. I would highly recommend Rich for all your carpet needs. He also referred me to a contractor that was able to fix a roll in the carpet prior to cleaning.

Rich is great. He advised us after our home had a flood with three floors of water damage. He helped us dry out and demolish (where appropriate) in prep for a renovation. Insurance paid for his services in this instance, but we then called him in to advise on a few other restoration situations, when our washing machine overflowed, and our basement needed to be aired out when painting - which I think were extremely good value. He and his people were very informative and knowledgeable, and they did an exceptional job. We would highly recommend MCC to anyone.

Herbert from My Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Services did an excellent job in our Ellicott City, MD home. He removed mounds of pet hair from our carpets, vacuumed and then shampooed them. Rich made the scheduling process easy. I called extremely early in the morning, before 7am, and he answered the phone and assisted me in making a last minute booking and patiently explained the process. Importantly, I am happy with the services received. I had my carpet in my condo cleaned because there were several ugly stains that I could not remove myself. Damian worked quickly and effectively to remove these stains. He did not rush the work but took his time to clean each room/carpet. I also had my hardwood floor cleaned. He first swept the floor, vacuumed before cleaning with a solution that made the floor feel and look clean. he also took his time removing 'sticky tapes' that were on the wood. That was alot of effort and time invested to ensure the floors were looking new and clean. I also did not feel they were trying to 'sell' me additional services. In essence, I am happy with the services received

We are big fans of MCC and have used them 3 times over the past few years to clean our basement carpet. Rich and his team are professional and so pleasant to work with. They are responsive, polite and respectful of your home. We have light colored wall-to-wall carpet in our basement and with three pets and some water damage, it shows stains, dirt and wear. We just had MCC out again this week and our light colored carpet looks fresh and new again! Before cleaning, they vacuumed with a commercial-grade vacuum to pick up any debris in the carpet fiber. Then moved onto the cleaning. Communication on scheduling, arrival and timing is great! Highly recommend MCC.

The carpet cleaning service is excellent; the communication about pickup and delivery times is very good; they are very accommodating. They moved furniture carefully to remove and replace the rugs; we had three rugs cleaned and they look great; one was a cashmere rug from India, and the other two were also high quality rugs. The rugs look great. I have used them before and will use them again. No need to look anywhere else!

Rich came out shortly after we called and did a fantastic job eliminating some very tough, set in, disgusting, carpet stains including fossilized animal waste. I really thought that this would defeat him, but it did not. The carpets came out like new with no visible trace of the stains. He also made the white upholstery on our 8 dining chairs come alive. They had been abused and stained by two young grandchildren and sloppy grandpa for over 2 years. They look new again. I’ve used Rich for at least 15 years now. He does impeccable work, and is very friendly. I give him my highest recommendation. Five star service!

Rich did an amazing job of cleaning my carpets. Although it’s now nearly 20 years old, applying his knowledge, experience and commitment to his work, he was able to make it look almost new again, even removing several spots of dried paint and restoring heavy traffic areas on the stairs. His work ethic is commendable. Rich arrived on time and took great measures to protect corners and my hardwood floors from damage. He managed moving larger furniture so all I had to do was remove breakables from tables. I would highly recommend his services.
