DG Concrete Construction

DG Construction has the ability to do good work. However, if an experienced foreman is not on site the works are not experienced enough to do the job right. Their clean up is terrible. Because of this I have cement splatter that I cannot get off my front porch and driveway. It's a lighter shade the cement that was poured and I have light dots all over. I asked multiple times for them to clean that up but they never did, now it's too late. Because I have colored concrete if I brush too hard it takes off the darker color. If I use a power washer it removes the splatter but also a think layer of cement and exposing the aggregate underneath. I specifically asked that they use steel in the concrete and they did, but they did not use spacers to raise it up half way, they left it on the ground. So all that steel is worthless. Most of my brickwork has a light cement film over on the top. I have power washed it twice and it is starting to come clean but if they would have just cleaned the brick at the end of the day it wouldn't have been there. Again terrible clean up. They left cement that they removed on my lawn for over a week. They cleaned out their tools and other product on my lawn and killed the grass in those areas. I filled a one gallon bucket with 3/4 crushed rock and cement pieces from my lawn. I have to give them credit for this. The finishers finished the flat part of my driveway level, no pitch for runoff. They did remove and replace that area of the driveway and fix that. They are very pleasant to work with, just didn't do a good job at my house.

We hired Rodd to install a new driveway and backyard patio to our house. First, his proposal was more detailed than other bids we got and during inspection he took his time to educate us on the scope of work (finishings etc). His guys arrived on time every day and did a thorough job. Will hire them again. Even my neighborhood complimented us on the front yard!

I am very happy with the service that was provided. Great professionalism and an excellent finished product. My backyard finally feels complete now that it has concrete and Iâ m beyond happy.
