"We here at My Guys Moving are thankful for all comments that we get from our customers, good or bad. What we would like to do is to clear up some of the statements that were made. With the regards to us offering additional insurance; if you read over the terms and conditions, which is sent at the time of booking your move, it is stated as follows: "It is recommended that the Shipper purchase insurance, either through the Company or a third party, to protect against loss or damage to articles and property being moved". The terms and conditions also explains about what type of insurance is offered with the move, which is standard for all moving companies. It also details the way a claim is handled. It stated that the item can be replace, but it's based upon the coverage that you have, which in your case was the Industry standard coverage of 60-cents per pound, with a maximum of $50 per item. We offered double of what was required even though the fault of the damage of the headboard was questionable since it occurred when our guys were not in the room at the time of the incident. On the day of your scheduled move, we arrived to discover that your driveway had been washed out, for which we were not notified, and we were not able to access your property with our truck. With your permission, we rescheduled for the following day and brought an additional smaller truck to access your home and shuttle your goods to our larger truck. You were not charged for the initial trip made to your home, nor were you charged for the second truck on the following day even though we incurred cost of labor and fuel. Yes, the Guys were late on the day of the move, and we do apologize for that inconvenience; however, you were not charge for their lateness, being that the time doesn't start until the Guys arrive and it ends once they are finished with your move. For the time issues that you said we charged you an additional $200, the Guys wrote the time down on the top of the paperwork, which you approved, but just didn't calculate it correctly at the bottom of the page. It was only a one-hour difference of $139, not $200, for which we called you about and got your approval before running the additional corrected amount on your card."
