Trim took two days and Carpenter was professional and the work was good. The painters were efficient and professional. Their attention to detail was amazing and looked great. They painted areas I didn’t expect to be painted, just to make it look better.

A lot off builders can put down a hardwood deck but Kurt Reece had the vision to see past the old and create an outdoor living space where we can relax and entertain. He has a real eye for design and a flair for the modern and classy touch. A true artist and consummate professional. Highly recommend.

Kurt and his crew did a great job! I now have the bath and kitchen I have wanted for some time. The quality of material and workmanship was excellent. Kurt was able to work around my travel schedule, which was very much appreciated. I would definitely use My House again.

We couldn't have been happier in having the Myhouse team on this remodel. Kurt was always there for us during every step. They were always in tune with what was happening on our job, and we didn't once feel like we were on the back burner. The quality of work is outstanding and we have highly recommended that our neighbors and friends that they use Myhouse for any future project.

The finished product came out exactly as we wanted it to. It was a design that was adjusted as the project went on. It is hard to coordinate a project like that in an existing building. It went very well.

Kurt Reece was very accommodating as we could not do all the work at once. When work was scheduled to be done all contractors showed up on time and Ruben did excellent work on the tile floors.

Better than expected. They were on the job working when they said they would be there and very clean. I am a neat freak and was expecting to pick up construction trash ever evening. Wasn't the case on this project. Kurt has great design ideas so if you are not certain what you like, Kurt will surly be able to help with great recommendations. Not a cookie cutter kitchen anymore. Kurt saved us the hassle of running around to different wood stores and showrooms by bringing us numerous samples based on our needs. We were able to make the selection right in our living room and the floors were finished within 2 weeks. Highly recommend Kurt, his staff, and his workers for any project.

It did not work out. It was not what I expected. He drew just like a little sketch. It was not the model that I wanted. He only did a portion, like the set of drawers or an aisle. He did not do the whole kitchen. It was not complete. He was supposed to email it but he did not and I had to call him and ask him months later.

The contracted project was estimated to take 3 months at the outset. 8 months later Kurt quit, and the contracted work was still not finished. Positive things about our experience: - I was happy with the work done by all of his sub-contractors. I enjoyed working with each of them and have used many of them since Kurt disappeared to do additional projects. I have also referred friends to the majority of them. Negative things about our experience: - Kurt did not function as a contractor. His only contribution to this project was his contacts with good subcontractors. He was unable to communicate in a reasonable fashion (dodged calls and regularly claimed he was in areas ?with no cell reception?). He was unable to schedule his contractors in a reasonable fashion. All of their scheduling is done by his wife, and what he does not share in his initial meetings with potential clients is that his wife also has a separate day job. So she will look at scheduling issues (and any other issues) only on Mondays. This means that if something arises on a Tuesday it will not be addressed or considered for a full week - and then they will look at scheduling with the sub so there is a knock on effect that drags everything out much longer than is reasonable to expect. Kurt misrepresented the timeline of the project from the start in order to get the job. He stated the job would take 8-12 weeks. I later learned from the custom cabinet guy that his custom cabinets are never done sooner than 12-16 weeks. We didn?t even meet with the cabinet guy to discuss what we needed made until 6 weeks into the project. Over the eight months that we worked with him, Kurt was regularly unavailable because of various trips which he claimed took him to places that did not have cell reception. This included other contracting jobs, golf trips, and band gigs (he?s also a singer). Kurt often claimed that he was unable to address issues experienced with his subcontractors and/or scheduling because he was dealing with his other projects. He definitely seemed to have more going on than he could handle. When I contacted him once to help with a subcontractor issue he told me he was unavailable and that I was being unreasonable to expect an immediate response, citing his other projects as the reason. I asked him if he had too many projects going because I was hearing that reason a lot and he defensively said, ?I?m not even working on those projects right now. I working on my own home projects.? I replied that that did not make me feel better about the situation, and so he shouted at me, ?what I do on my own time is none of your business.? It was a Thursday morning. I was calling to discuss an issue with a subcontractor that he had scheduled to work at my house that day. This is a good example of the type of communication that you can expect when working with Kurt. Kurt will be charming and personable at the start, and as things become difficult (which I promise you they will with him in charge) this will dissipate and he will become difficult, condescending and rude. Kurt repeatedly misrepresents the truth. This was confirmed by three separate contractors who would talk with me on the job and confirmed (only after making me promise not to tell Kurt so they would still get jobs) that what Kurt had told me with regards to scheduling them was untrue. He consistently told me he had tried to schedule them, or that they were booked out etc etc - when really he was just covering the fact that he had just not gotten around to it yet. Kurt quit our job 8 months after starting it (he said the job would take 8-12 weeks, so I expected it to realistically be 12-15 weeks?). He quit via a text message which included aggressive and derrogatory statements about me personally. Obviously I do not think these were merited - but even if they were, his behavior was the height of unprofessionalism. Overall I am happy with the work done on my home. The subcontractors did good work. The work that was unfinished luckily had mostly not yet been paid for. That being said I would not hire Kurt or work with him again under any circumstance.

It did not go well. All I got from this "deal" was a quote to remodel my kitchen. I never received the promised sketch/rendering, which was why I bought the deal in the first place. It was a waste of money.
The guy came out and what we talked about while he was there was great, but we never got the drawing of what he was supposed to do. There was a scheduling issue because I travel a lot and so finding a fine day when I was home and he was available. I thought the guy had some really great ideas for bathrooms. They could give me my drawing.

Kurt Reece was excellent to work with. He was very knowledgeable and had very practical ideas and advice. He went tile shopping with me and had good working relationships with the tile dealers. Debbie did a wonderful job scheduling the subs to come in and ensured that the job ran smoothly. The best part of the project was the tile subcontractor, Ruben, who did a beautiful job on the tile work. The shower glass contractor was not as strong and the glass took several weeks to receive and then they had to redo one part of it twice, causing a further delay. (I think that they no longer use the same glass contractor). The electrician and painter were professional and reliable. Kurt and Debbie made sure that we were satisfied and had every concern taken care of right away.
