after some initial communications issues, things went pretty well. The countertops were beautifully made. They used birch plywood as the substrata for a very modest price addition instead of particle board and the construction was absolutely flawless. The installation had a couple of issues which were identified and resolved. The installation crew were VERY professional and wife and kid appropriate. Michael O'Connor, the owner, generously made an additional backsplash for the oven at no charge when we added this to the contract.

I m am very pleased with the results. All in all it was an easy process. I chose the cabinets, countertops, faucets etc . My signature coordinated with our painter and got it all done. And this was done while we were 2500 miles away as the remodel was in a seasonal home! Any problems were immediately attended to a and everyone at their store is pleasant to work with! Special accolades go to Ewan who was very helpful! <br />

When they finished the tile for the back-splash, there were pieces at the end of the tile work that were not finished correctly or straight and there are gaps. They scratched my stove. I also did not receive a part for the new sink that they installed. There are many, many little things that need to be addressed and now two weeks after the job has been completed and they have been paid they will not return my calls.

"We were initially contacted by the client’s designer to provide countertops. Added to that was a sink, sink grid and disposer along with backsplash tile. The only labor initially contracted was installation of the countertop. This was performed in a timely and satisfactory manner. Everyone was happy. During the countertop template, it was determined that the original sink, specified by the designer, was not going to fit because it was too big for the corner configuration. A smaller sink was specified and installed. Since the installed sink is an unusual size, a grid has been very hard to find, but we have continued to search for one. If one is unable to be found, we are more than willing to refund the customer the amount charged. Regarding the tile installation, the client’s designer placed an order with us, and we fulfilled the order. The client and/or designer hired tile installers not associated with our company, and they were unable to install the tile in a manner that would satisfy the client. The client initially claimed there was a defect in the tile; however, we had the manufacturer inspect the tile, and there was no fault found with the material. At this point, our company provided an estimate to the client for our tile installer to install her backsplash. Not only were we not obligated to do this, but she also had difficult time parameters we had to work with, and our installer sacrificed a Saturday, so we could help our customer. An additional difficulty along the way was that their designer stopped returning phone calls. All in all, we have been responsive and have tried to help whenever possible, although we were not responsible for the overall remodel of their kitchen. Furthermore, there is still a final balance due on the project. We had not billed for completion of the tile backsplash installation at the time this complaint was made. We are working with the client now, and will do everything in our power to close this project with a happy customer."

Slow starting but their work is impeccable. Good quality cabinets which they custom made. Best of all the design work was fabulous.

I called a woman from a different company, she came over and I set the job up with her, but she told me that at the time she took my job they were merging with My Signature Living. She had three other jobs at the same time. They started taking shortcuts and buying cheaper parts than they should have. I gave $260 for a top of the line garbage disposal, but they put one in that was only worth about $80. The original woman had an experienced tile layer to do backsplashes, but they used someone inexperienced, my grout lines are uneven. My cabinets came in with imperfections, three of them had major imperfections, and they installed them that way. I had to point out the imperfections for them to replace them. We have contractor experience, and know what is correct and what’s not. They set up a young worker with no supervision to drill the holes for the cabinets, and he screwed the wrong size holes. They wanted to charge me for the new handles. I had a new deluxe oven coming, and needed to know when they would be done with a wall they were working on, and they didn’t finish it by the day they were supposed to, it wasn’t finished by the time the oven arrived. I had an issue with a window. They were going to order the window for me; they took out the original window, but never ordered the replacement, so I had an open window, that anyone could have climbed through, for four days. They told me they were done, but hadn’t done everything in the contract yet. I had a meeting with the owners and foreman to talk about the poor quality of the project, it was apparent the owner could care less about what I had to say. They cut corners to save money. I had to check on the men every single day, and had to point out the things they did wrong. I had to paint the walls and took the shelves out of the pantry myself, and drew up the design for the kitchen, and then they tried to charge me for that labor. Every day when they left I would sweep up and get rid of the trash from the day. They put a cabinet for the microwave in, the joints were showing and the pieces didn’t align. When the woman from the other company talked to My Signature Living they told her they were in charge, not her. The foreman was nice, but seemed like he was stuck at that company. The owner would run him all over town instead of letting him focus on my project. I was really angry because I didn’t sign up with them; I wanted to work with the woman from the original company, not My Signature Living. The foreman tried to work with me, but the owner didn’t try at all. From start to finish it was a complete battle.

The woman that you were working with left our company without notice, and she did not contact anyone after she decided to leave. Because of that, we did not have her as a resource to ensure that everything went along with her conversations with you. Since it was our company who you signed contract with, it was imperative that we be in charge of the final result. Please know that I cared about your project as if I had designed it myself. I am passionate about quality and about having happy customers. It had been my understanding that we had accomplished that goal with your project and that, though everything did not go as smoothly as any of us would have liked, you were satisfied and happy with the final result. We are always improving how our projects are run, and every project is a learning experience."

This was a great experience. I worked with Maribel Martin for the design and Eric did most of the work, except for the laminated flooring and tile. They were always right on top of the job and were very particular in the details, even noticing things that I never would have. The job started right on schedule and was finished on schedule as well. It has been a year since the job was completed and I'm still very happy with the results. Would use them again in a heartbeat. <br />

My experience with Signature Kitchens and Baths was positive from beginning to end. Lynn was my designer and Eric was my project manager and they were both excellent. My house looks fantastic! Lynn guided me through the decision making process and helped me pick beautiful materials while staying within my budget. She designed an amazing kitchen layout. Eric was great throughout the project. He listened to my concerns and kept me informed. He did a great job managing and organizing all of the subcontractors.They really paid attention to detail. In November 2012, I Interviewed five contractors before choosing My Signature Living. What sold me was MSL's in-house operation as well as the organization and professionalism. All who work on a project are employed by MSL. This was preferable over subbing out each job type. From the start, I felt very comfortable with the designer, Lynn Hunter. Even though I was in town for the initial interview, I was out of town for the duration of the project. Not being on site was nerve wracking, but Lynn and I discussed products and progress over the phone and through emails; photos of each stage were emailed; extra legwork when I changed my mind was happily undertaken. <br /> <br />Another plus was the daily schedule. I knew what part of the project was being done when! The end date was only a day or two off-schedule! I arrived in Sarasota, on March 2nd, as the cleaning crew was finishing up. A walk through with Lynn and Eric, the project manager, took place the following day. Touch-ups were noted and taken care of in a timely and professional manner. <br /> <br />My Signature Living is all about customer satisfaction. I am one satisfied customer! this was a shower re-build that should have taken 1-2 weeks, and took <br /> almost 8 weeks. There was no oversight of the job, and no one took <br /> responsibility and made sure that the work was performed timely and <br /> professionaly. The job cost sheet listed a price for labor and <br /> management, but once the contract was signed and turned over to the job <br /> contractor they were absent from the scene and were not responsive to <br /> our concerns. <br />

We are experienced home builders/remodelers (10 projects) who appreciate quality work on time and within budget. If you do as well, Lynn Hunter and her team at Signatures is for you. They strated with a detailed schedule, stayed in constant communication by texts, email, photosand phone as we were not able to be on the premises. Great personal service that made you feel they cared as much about your project as you do. If there was a glitch, they made it right. You cannot expect of get any more.

We had a wonderful experience with Signature. We purchased a condo which had not been upgraded in 30 years and wanted a complete remodel. We spoke with several contractors before choosing to work with Signature (who was recommended to us by other condo owners). We were impressed with Signature's professionalism from the start. Michael & Hilary came up with several design alternatives and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted (design is definitely one of their strengths). The kitchen & master bath were completely redesigned. We worked closely with Michael & Hilary to select cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, kitchen and bath fixtures........even new doors. We agreed on a price and construction schedule, then we returned home to Iowa while Signature completed the project. <br /> Throughout the project Signature kept us updated on progress providing lots of photos via e-mail. As issues came up during construction, Signature was responsive and helpful. After 5 months we returned to Florida to see the finished product. We had asked Michael & Hilary for a certain "wow factor" and we were not disappointed. The condo is absolutely stunning. The quality of the materials, workmanship and attention to detail is amazing. We could not be happier with our condo or our choice to work with Signature. <br /> This remodel was a complicated project that started with significant design changes, and it worked out beautifully. We would definitely recommend Signature to anyone considering a kitchen, bath or complete unit remodel. <br />

I think they did a fine job; they stayed on the project's schedule and were within budget. Their subcontractors did a good job; I would recommend them to anybody. I am using them on a bathroom remodeling project we have going right now.
