The technician Luis Irizarry came to my house and was very professional and just very positive guy. Within seconds he knew what was wrong with my system and fixed it. While he was fixing he provided me with tips and neat features I did not even know I had. One of which was he showed me how to have my front door automatically lock every 30 seconds. That way when we go out to walk the dog if we forget to lock the door it will automatically do so. This is brilliant. I loved it. Anyway Luis was amazing. ALso my initial installer Alex was amazing as well.

My Smart Security was very responsive and they sent me a tech the very next day (I called them around 5 PM). This fast response is what earned them my business. They also have an EXCELLENT tech, Luis, who is competent and very <br /> enthusiastic about his job! Also the president of the company, who helped out when I had some trouble with the account, is very helpful and cares a lot about the customers and the service they provide. <br /> My house was wired with a GE alarm system and the previous owner refused to give me the access code. My Smart Security replaced the controller box with their own (2 Gig Smart Panel) and simply used the existing doors and windows sensors. <br /> We love the new system! We can arm and disarm remotely with our smart phones or via the web! It has many nice features including 2-way communication so if the alarm goes off the monitoring company can talk to you directly via the device. The system has its own cell phone unit thus it does not need a phone line. <br /> On the other side, I feel that the fees I paid for the installation and monthly monitoring are higher than other companies I found on Angie's List. Also My Smart Security signs you up for a 3-year agreement and their tech tries to convince you to go for 5 to "keep current prices". I took the 3-year contract. The next day another company that I left a message for while shopping called back and it turned out their contact is for 6 months only! Also their monthly fees were a lower. Because I liked the Smart Security tech I decided to keep the contract even though I felt that I did not get the best possible deal. <br /> Throughout this process I learned a few things that you might find helpful: <br /> 1) My Smart Security uses Alarm.com for the technology - Alarm.com provides the equipment including the cameras and they provide the app that gives you control over the alarm system. <br /> 2) My Smart Security uses a third-party company called Monitronics for the monitoring service. <br /> 3) My Smart Security does the system installation and the service. So basically they just put the pieces together and install the system. Other companies do the exact thing! <br /> 4) The video cameras are very expensive addition at $400 each. I had those installed initially then I discovered I can buy better cameras from Amazon for $100 each, so I called them back and had the cameras removed! <br /> Another negative thing, My Smart Security charges a trip charge if you need them to come back after the installation. I use ADT for another property and they do not charge a fee for maintenance calls. <br /> Over all I recommend My Smart Security because of their excellent tech and caring president, and also because of the great smart system they install. <br /> <br /> <br />

Choosing My Smart Security for both my home and business alarm system has been a great choice and experience. I did a lot of research (which is never fun) and ultimately they were not the cheapest, but somehow they convinced me to go with them. I'm really happy I did. For a few dollars extra I feel I get a lot more. I love that I can view my cameras on my phone and I also know what time people come and leave my home and business. Professional install was great and so much easier than expected. I'm very happy I chose them to do it. Highly recommend to anyone. <br />

The technician was very knowledgeable of all the products and how everything works as he showed me some flaws I had in my current system that I never even thought of. The entire installation only took 2 hours (much shorter than what I expected) which was perfect. I highly recommend My Smart Security to anyone looking for a new security system. <br />

We previously had a big name alarm company and I couldn?t wait for my contract to expire. Now that I was finally able to change companies I wanted be sure to select a good, reliable company. I spoke with a few sales reps but I didn?t feel comfortable switching until I had the opportunity to speak with the sales manager at My Smart Security, Lindsey. Since my experience with my previous alarm company wasn?t the greatest I had so many questions. Lindsey patiently answered them. She was informative and wasn?t pushy. She was also able to design the system on the phone. I was impressed. My experience with My Smart Security has been great. They gave me fantastic support before and after the installation. I also couldn?t believe how quick they were. There were able to install my alarm system the very next day after I contacted them. I?m glad I switched and I?m pleased with my <br /> choice. <br />

Everything went very well! I was concerned about my parents old system because they had still been broken into. They were able to help get everything in the house updated and actually the monthly payment for monitoring went down. The technician Luis Irizarry was very helpful and even took the time to teach them how to use everything. I am thankful for such great service and happy they are here locally. <br />

Great company .... My experience was wonderful.... there sale department was just so very helpful with product knowledge and and the price was very affordable!!!! (REP Alexis Salmon) also setting everything up next day install was just a breeze.They pinpointed all of my concern and at that point I new that they are the company for me!!! <br /> installation ... the tech was very thorough about everything and answering all of my questions and it only took less than 2hrs, Even set up the app on my Iphone for me (super cool) !!! I was contacted by the owner after he noticed my original review. He immediately set up a service call at no charge to address all my issues. The technician, Luis went over the entire system, renaming when needed, adding a window that was missed the first time, and adjusting sensitivity to avoid false triggers. <br /> Luis arrived on time and was very professional and knowledgeable.

My Smart Security provided me with a COMPLETE home security system (w/ ALL the bells and whistles) at an EXTREMELY reasonable price. The installation tech, Luis, is very amicable and passionate about what he does. The installation was done very professionally, and he made sure that everything was installed to my satisfaction (e.g. it turned out that I wanted both of the outdoor video cameras in probably the two most difficult locations in the house.). Most of the time, Luis showed up pretty close to the agreed upon time, but not every time. He usually called ahead though to let me know what was going on. <br /> The complete installation ended up taking 5 or 6 visits, which, in my opinion, is too much. The number of visits wasn't entirely their fault, though. For example, our internet wasn't installed during their first visit (thanks BrightHouse!), so they had to come out a second time after to install the components that use an internet connection (e.g. cameras). When they came out the second time though, not all of the cameras were working (also, not necessarily their fault). Also, at least once or twice during the sequence, I ended up asking them for an additional component (motion sensor, video camera, etc), which required yet another visit for installation. <br /> I have had several issues with the equipment, but My Smart Security has been very good about taking care of the issues promptly. For example, the garage door controller would get confused about whether or not the door was opened or closed. They came out and replaced that unit and it works fine now. One of the outdoor cameras filled with water. They came out and replaced that unit as well. Our electronic lock on the front door stopped working after about 3 months. They came out and replaced that unit, too (for a $50 visit fee since it had been working for more than 3 months). <br /> In all, I am very happy with My Smart Security. They offer extremely competitive rates, know what they are doing, and take the customer's satisfaction very seriously. I would definitely use My Smart Security again myself and would recommend them to anyone looking to get a new alarm system installed. <br /> <br />

The security and safety of my family and my home is paramount to me, so I was looking for a good alarm company to install a new alarm system in my new home, and did my normal, extensive research that I do when contemplating a critical and/or costly item for my home. <br /> There are a number of companies that seem to provide a very good service, coupled with good products, but there were 3 specific things that made me choose My Smart Security over the other contenders... <br /> 1. They have their own in-house technicians that do the alarm installations. This was a major factor in my decision making, as most of the other companies I had considered, just post the equipment out to you and you have to install the equipment yourself. When the technician (Luis) arrived at my home, we did a walk through of my property and discussed the best and most cost effective installation that would give me the peace of mind that I required, as well as not costing me a fortune. <br /> 2. They had excellent reviews on Angie's List. I use Angie's List a lot as the company reviews seem pretty on the money compared to my own experiences when deciding to use a company that I found out about on Angie's List. <br /> 3. I spoke with the owner (Bryan) on numerous occasions when making my decision, and I was extremely impressed by how dedicated and passionate he is about his company. He was very honest with me about what he could and could not commit to when I was negotiating with him, and I respect people who stick to their principles even though it may mean that they may lose the business to someone that tells you what you want to hear to secure your business, only to disappoint you once they have your business. <br /> I have had a few issues with some of the equipment after it was installed, but the after sales service that My Smart Security provide, is some of the best that I have experienced. I read a lot of reviews that stated that once some security companies have you signed up to a long term service contract, that the standard of service drops off significantly. I am very pleased to say that this is certainly not my experience with My Smart Security, as in addition to their excellent responses to any post sales requests that I have, they contact me periodically just to check if everything is OK, and if there is anything that they can help me with? <br /> I cannot recommend My Smart Security, or their owner highly enough. His Company is not as big or as established as some of their competitors, but his customer service ethos is excellent, and I love the personal service that I get when dealing with a good local company, as opposed to the indifferent service I have experienced from some of the national ones. <br />

I can't say enough about the team at My Smart Security - Their service and follow-up was impeccable and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend or family member. <br /> Pre-Sale - Bryan provided consultative advice and guidance as to what systems and elements of the alarm system would be necessary. <br /> Installation - Alarm.com team did a good job installing, were professional and courteous. <br /> Post -Install - Along with the Alarm system I had pre-existing ZWave Home Automation controls that I was trying to integrate into the Alarm.com system. I had some difficulties and the My Smart Security team worked with me until it was resolved. <br /> Really appreciate the support, follow through and genuine concern. <br />

There was a miscommunication after our initial install. Bryan the owner called providing excellent service recovery. He inquired to the issue and immediately scheduled a time to followup. Luis the tech was prompt, knowledgeable and courteous. He verified all questions were answered before leaving. A couple of days later Bryan called again to verify complete satisfaction with service. <br />

Very prompt, courteous, spent time reviewing how the system functions on install. Disappointed in follow through after install. We have a bad motion sensor. Stated would come back the next week to replace. 2 months later no response to email nor replacement of sensor. <br />

Juan Ramos, from MySmart Security, was professional and pleasant to deal with. Throughout the presentation and the installation he patiently explained everything he was doing as he did it. He did not bad mouth his competitors when I asked why I should go with him and not ADT or ATand T. He simply stated why his company and Monitronics would be the best choice. He encouraged us to call his company if we have any questions after he leaves. I have referred him to our friends who were amazed to what we got installed. Also they were very interested when they heard of the guarantee of no increase if you sign up for 5 years. Their current company, which they have been using for 10 years, had increased their monthly monitoring rate on a regular basis and are paying more for less than what we received. <br />

Louis the installer with My Smart called when he was on his way just as I had requested. He arrived about the time I was told he would. We went to the orlando home show on 10/25/2014 and came across MySmart Security. Since we bought the house 2 years ago we have been looking for a good, smart and economic security system, but we were not happy with any of the reviews an offers from other companies once we heard from MySmart Security system we fall in love with their service. It may not be as cheap as other companies, but cheap is not always the best thing to get when it becomes to your security. <br />
