We recently had My Way Home Improvement, Inc. do a complete renovation of the outside of our house - roof, siding, trim and gutters. We couldn't be happier with the outcome of our "new" house. Tony spent a lot of time with us during the initial estimate going over pricing and options. We were so impressed that we hired him at that time so that we could get on his busy schedule. His work crews on each project were exceptional. All in all, it was a pleasant experience, and we were beyond happy with the quality of their work, and professionalism. Excellent. Tony came to provide an estimate on a Saturday for a roof replacement. Despite, knowing he was busy, he spent time going over everything with us in detail. He provided an attractive folder with description of the materials used, insurance coverage of the company as well as a list of references. I had three companies come to provide estimates and he blew them out of the water. One 'reputable' company had a worker come who was condescending and dismissive. The third company was ok, however, was not very organized. When Tony and his crew replaced the roof, it was impressive. Pricing was comparable. They worked morning until late day intensively. We can't thank them enough for helping us replace our roof as it needed to be done prior to placing our home on the market for sale. His wife, who is the office manager, was also very helpful and quick to respond. They are a good team.

all workers were highly professional. Lisa, in the office was quick to respond to any questions or issues. Lisa dealt with the Hyde Park building inspector so we didn't have to. If you know anything about this town, that is and amazing feat. Tony dealt with the inspector on site and took care of any issues that arose through the process. They all knew what they were doing and had suggestions most of which we took.

All went well once he actually started the job. He promised November 2014 but, in fact, started my job on January 21, 2015. The job was completed on January 24th.Tony and his helper, Jim, knew just what to do and worked as a team. Tony brought his own heater as it was pretty cold last January, and even shoveled a little snow to get from the driveway to the front door. When they finished the job, the areas they worked in were vacuumed clean. <br /> <br /> I will be calling Tony as the quality of the Anderson doors installed is not as good as I expected it would be. Nothing to do with Tony, but since Anderson is so highly rate, I thought they were the best. There's a constant draft coming into the room, so hopefully he can fix it for me. He had been back in the summer to make an adjustment on the one door - it wouldn't open all the way and he fixed right away. <br /> The only other complaint I have is that Tony is so busy the waiting period for his service is too long, but he works at every job - no subs. <br />

We had contracted with you back in August, 2014, unknowingly what the Fall/Winter,2014 would bring us, but we always hope and anticipate that Winter would start later than sooner. Good siding work. Removed old partcall board removed put new and insulation. Good workers however problem under specific area around furnace chimney not resolved still had ice dam. Sometimes hard to get in touch with did return. To fix it they wanted to tear out new 4 year old roof and put new ice and water shield. After hiring a home inspector that was not correct aproach. Had another contractor dx the problem it was a last resort measure for this 4 yr old roof <br />

As a family based company, we feel in building a trustworthy and confident relationship as they were part of our family. In regards to your review, in accordance to pictures that were provided by Homeowner of previous winter of ice seeping around chimney and flashing - that said area was targeted. At the time of install, Tony had advised that the said area in question when taken apart was done incorrectly due to flashing, water & ice shield and installation of roof shingles behind chimney - which was permitting water to seep around brick and into soffit area. This lead us to believe that the rest of the back of the roof was not done correctly. Homeowner was advise at the time of install, there were issues on back part of roof but chose not to move forward at that time. As per contracted, roofing was taken apart 3' around chimney, sides and back. Once roof had gone through Winter/2015 - pictures were provided by Homeowner which clearly showed the leaking was occurring further left and right, which was not around the chimney area that was worked on by My Way. Tony spoke with Homeowner and advised the issue was no longer around the chimney, but it was running towards the windows and the whole back of house causing leaking to come out from the fascia. In regards to the work done by another Contractor, the roof has not gone through another winter, since the area in question other than the areas My Way Home Improvements had corrected which are clearly shown by pictures provided by Homeowner. We were not informed on what steps were taken from preventing water seeping in the overhangs. Please Note, installing a new roof and water/ice shield does not prevent ice damming, but it will prevent water from seeping into the house through shingles when done correctly. The only way we will know if has been corrected, if we encounter another severe winter with same amount of ice damming. Ice damming will always occur because of hot/cold, heat loss in attic causing snow to melt and run down to edge of roof where there is no heat source and freezes again. Therefore, it's backing water behind the ice dam and letting water to seep through, if water & ice shield and nails are not seated properly - water will begin to seep again. Tony arrived right on time. <br /> Old door was removed and new door installed in about 3 hours. <br /> All materials were removed, and site was cleaned up. <br /> I have dealt with many contractors over the years. I have to admit Tony is the best. <br /> Very professional. <br /> Well organized. He had all the tools and 'spare parts' needed to get the job done. <br /> Workmanship was excellent. <br /> Answered all my questions. <br /> If you ever need a contractor with Tony's background I would highly recommend him. <br /> He is 'Good'! <br />

Tony, the owner of My Way, has done work for us over the last two years in various areas of our home and we?ve been extremely satisfied with both the experience and the work. <br /> Let me start with price. Tony?s charges are very reasonable but his quotes aren?t usually the lowest we receive. What makes Tony?s price a better value is that he doesn?t look for ways to nickel and dime you. For example, during the quoting process a couple of years ago when we first met Tony, another contractor we were considering (and were about to sign with) discovered we wanted a pedestal sink installed in our new bathroom rather than a sink with a vanity that we?d told him about earlier. He wanted $500 more due to the fact that the plumbing would have to be moved to be properly hidden behind the pedestal. I phoned Tony to see what he?d charge to change his quote to include a pedestal sink and he said, ?Buy whatever sink you want, it makes no difference.? He?s had this kind of attitude throughout all the jobs he?s done for us. <br /> Another thing about Tony is how meticulous he is. The tilework he does, the way he installs shingles and flashing, the way he and his crew clean up during and after the job, the way he shows up EXACTLY when he says he?s going to show up, these are just a few of the things that have impressed the heck out of us. I also have to mention that his office manager, Lisa, is just like Tony. She?s pleasant, prompt, meticulous and accurate. <br /> Rereading what I?ve written here, I?d like to be able to say something about My Way that we've had a bit of a problem with in order to make this rave review more credible but, to be honest, I can?t think of any negatives. He?s redone our roof, our deck, and a couple of bathrooms and we?re really happy. I don?t use this word lightly but, truly, this company is exemplary. <br /> <br /> <br />

<p>From the beginning we knew that My Way Home Improvement was the right choice for us. The first time we sat with Tony was December 2013. When we first sat with Tony, we made our decision even before we had an estimate. He took the time to go through all aspects of our addition and didn?t rush out for another appointment. We sat for two hours going through ideas and options that were right for our house and felt extremely comfortable and excited to see his and our visions come to life. We met several times over the span before we signed an official contract with him. </p> <p>Throughout the 8 month process of design, permits and demolition, our ideas started to become reality. Lisa helped us through all of the steps prior to Tony and crew stepping foot to begin. She was responsive courteous and extremely friendly and helpful throughout! Even went out and ordered a sample of the siding to have delivered to the house as I was afraid it wouldn?t match the roof! During the construction, she was a frequent visitor and was as much a part of the construction as the crew. She managed all of the inspections, sub-contractors and deliveries to make it a very smooth few weeks. </p> <p>In August we began the journey of our addition. Tony, Chuck, Nick and Louis showed up first thing Thursday morning to demo and by Saturday evening, we had a shell to a huge family room addition. My neighbors couldn?t believe how hard, and fast the guys worked and commented on what a great contractor we had! A few days later, we met Jimmy who put the siding on the house that needed the face lift. The house has never looked better! </p> <p>For the two weeks of major construction, Tony and crew became family. </p> <p>Tony was true to his estimate and is worth every penny! What he does is quality work that will last a lifetime.</p> <p>Here it is 4 months later and I am sitting in the most beautiful room that was made possible by My Way Home Improvement. Our friends and family cannot believe the transformation our house went through. My Way Home Improvements gets my absolute highest recommendation. They were a pleasure to deal with on all accounts: <br /> <strong>1. Very professional </strong> <br /> The contract was clear and complete, and the price was very competitive. Jimmy and Luis always arrived on time (or early), and often worked until dusk. Besides being very competent they were also very pleasant to deal with. <br /> <strong>2. Added Value</strong> <br /> Before siding Jimmy and company sealed the house up tight with R4 foam. Attic vents were added where they had been done. All openings were nicely boxed for lamps, plugs, vents, etc. <br /> <strong>3. Great attention to detail </strong> <br /> The siding install was beautifully done. Gutters are seamless and covered - much better that what was there before. Tony installed the sliding glass doors and the accompanying trim, an it all looks amazing. <br /> <strong>4. Excellent quality materials</strong> <br /> The 25 foot siding lengths made for very few seams. <br /> <strong>5. Office support was very responsive</strong> <br /> They were willing to adjust per a change in our schedule, Lisa always responded to calls the same day, and communicated well any adjustments to the work schedule. <br />

Tony is a rock solid guy! I cant speak for how professional and a "people person" he is. He came over to give me a quote on replacing a basement beam. We talked about other projects and things i wasn't too thrilled about too. Tony went above and beyond to educate me and point out little things that i didn't know about. <br /> A few months after the initial quote tony and his crew came over to do the job. Tony, who was sick at the time, still came over to do the job. He may have been sick and miserable but it didn't matter and didn't prevent the amazing job that they did. This shows how professional and passionate he is about the work that he performs. They ran into a few small "problems" but were able to improvise a perfect solution while they worked. The total job lasted about 3 hours with 3 men. They even helped me with a small fix that they weren't paid for! Goes to show how contractors should treat their clients to go above and beyond. <br /> I had to go through a few different quotes from a few different service providers before i settled on tony. Not only was his price fair but the way he talked me through how he would do what he was going to do was unbelievable. A+! <br />

Tony, the owner of the Company, came and gave us a free estimate on a room addition. From the beginning to the end of the project, he was true to his word in everything he promised. He put up an entire new room, complete with a new roof, designer windows, structure, new electric, gutters, etc. <strong>The end result was sheer PERFECTION</strong>. The room came out better than we had ever hoped it would. He installed a new ceiling in our kitchen that looks amazing. <strong>The materials were first-rate, the work was first-rate and Tony and his crew were FIRST-RATE</strong>. Everyone who has seen the room comments on how amazing it looks. It finished our Craftsman-styled house as if it were part of the original structure. Tony even did extras that we never would have thought to ask about. The new roof blends right in with the original roofing. The cedar shingles Tony suggested match the color of our siding beautifully. His work crew and sub-contractors were just as professional and expert at their jobs as Tony. All the paperwork and assorted questions were expertly handled by Lisa, who was just as professional as Tony. They came through at every question, request, etc. We are planning to put new windows and a door in our breakfast room next year. The only contractor we will be calling is "My Way". We have recommended Tony to everyone who asked us about our new room. The cost was worth every penny and then some!! If you want something done "Your Way" you should definitely contact "My Way". The roof on our 18 year old house was losing the granules embedded in the shingles. When cleaning the gutters I filled up a couple of bags with these granules. I contacted My Way Home Improvement to get an estimate. Tony came right over, inspected the roof and provided an estimate to replace the shingles. We spend about 20 minutes discussing what it would take and how he would perform the work. I was impressed with his attention to details such as using 6' of ice and water protection around the whole roof when building standards only require half that amount. Tony's estimate was about 20% less that 2 other estimates I had received. We signed a contact with My Way in Sept 2012 with the understanding that My Way would not be able to do the work until 2013 due to the backlog of work they had. I was more than willing to wait to get the work done right. <br /> Due to the wet weather in early to mid 2013 the roof replacement work My Way had contacted pushed us back to the fall, but I didn't see any issues since our roof wasn't leaking, and I would rather wait for a quality job to be done than to go elsewhere and have problems later on. My Way was able to stat the work on Oct 14. Tony and his crew showed up every day at 7am and worked until dark, which was usually around 7pm. They stripped sections of the roof and then made then weather tight with Ice/water protection and Deck Armor instead of tarpaper. They shingled the stripped areas before moving to other areas of the roof. This made sure that we did not have an open roof exposed to the weather anymore that absolutely necessary. Tony and team cleaned up every day before leaving to make sure we did not have debris laying around or that might blow over to our neighbors or impact our dogs. <br /> Overall it took My Way 3 and 1/2 days to complete the work at the contracted price. I am very pleased with the workmanship, materials and attention to detail. I want to thank Tony, Lisa and his crew for the quality roof replacement. I would use My Way Home Improvement for any of my repair jobs. <br />

My Way was the best choice for this large job. We needed to remove a solarium that had significant damage to it, and was causing further damage to our home. Tony took great care to remove each pane one by one so as not to cause a dangerous mess and get glass everywhere. They deconstructed the sinking concrete base of the room, and raised the floor so that it was level with the rest of our house, constructed a new outer wall, and took care of all the lighting and heating issues that went along with a new construction. We also put in a shower, and Tony's guys took care of all the plumbing, the tiling, everything! When we needed to find our discontinued vinyl siding to finish our exterior wall, Tony went out of his way to track it down and order it. The My Way workers were always professional. They arrived promptly each morning, and took great care with their work. They put in a full days work even through the horrible summer hear. Everything they did was quality - no sloppy work here! We are somewhat indecisive people, and Tony always had great patience with us, and was able to give us a lot of advice about our options and what would best meet the needs of our family. He is very knowledgeable, and we will definitely use My Way on our future projects.

Gave a very fair estimate showed up on time,was super neat pointed out some rotted ply wood and had factored in 2 sheets at no additional charge.They replaced our non working attic fan and replaced a skylight in our family room.The best contractor experience I have ever had.
