They never called back to finish the project. They started it and they were supposed to do more work and I've never heard from them. He told me he got busy.

There was additional work that I had them do. I think there was an additional $800 of work that needed to be done. They did the work over about a week and a half. The work was good. The staff was very good. There was nothing that they could have done differently. I would tell a friend to talk to them and get a quote from them.

Jeremy did fairly good finishing work, but it was an ongoing struggle to keep him focused on coming to work on our project and stay on track. Unfortunately, once he got within $300 of finishing the project, he disappeared and wouldn't come back to finish. Sporadic responses to repeated begging to finish what he committed to do.
I paid the deposit with I signed the contract - the contract stated it was a three week job. The next portion was due on completion of demolition. The demolition on my kitchen and bathroom started on November 2nd. The demolition went on for months and I was not able to use my kitchen or bathroom. I wanted to purchase my own materials. I ordered the counter tops and it was the wrong one because of his measurements - I had to pay for that. The work was less than satisfactory and ruined my wood floor which I also have to pay to have redone. After the demolition, he came back and asked for more money. I ended up paying him a TOTAL $12,369. After I paid for all my materials he owes me $3,000. I have been asking for a revised bill and he said would pay me when he could. The floor tile in the bathroom was not done correctly. It was a horrific experience.

Most of it was great but we had an issue with the back door that they replaced on the house. The door was not hung properly and the owner needs to come back out to fix it. He said that he was swamped because of the Angie’s List deal. I have called 3 times in the last month and we're still waiting. They went over and above and helped us with everything else and we are and just waiting on the door to be fixed at this point.

After three phone calls and being very straightforward with them, I finally motivated them to come out for the job. It took a long time for someone to come out. They sent out Jamie. I wasn't happy with the end cost. They estimated $500, but it ended up being $800. There were cracks in the final job. They sent someone else back out (an administrator) who didn't want to believe that Jamie would do such poor work. The administrator sent out a workman to patch the job. He did a pretty good job of patching and blending. He made it okay. They completed the job, but I was disappointed in how long it took them to come out and complete the job, the unexpected cost, and that the end result is just okay quality. They didn't follow-up with me on any of the other jobs we discussed either.

Namasier Designs was a little more expensive than my other estimates but they were the only ones who understood and were able to improve upon the ideas was thinking of to help sound proof the theater. The estimate was quick they and were able to start quickly. They called ahead two days before the planned start to confirm and then showed up on the day and time promised. They worked straight through the job with no delays. The crew were curtious and keep us well informed through out the process. All work was well done exactly as agreed. Over all we were very pleased.
Didn't show up to scheduled appointment. Didn't bother to call either.

A few things still needed to be done. As soon as we paid them, they never showed up or would return calls. The last time I called and scheduled, he told me to give him two weeks notice. I gave him three weeks notice and they still didn't show up. I've tried calling, but left voicemails.

We are very pleased with the work that was performed. I purchased a deal in Angie's List for Namasier Designs to do trim work repair on our recently purchased 20 year old home. I do not recall the purchase amount of the deal but the work that we needed to have performed exceeded the deal amount. Namasier Designs worked with us to give us a fair price for the amount of work needed and were very thorough in their inspection of the wood trim areas of our home. They were very professional in doing the work, matched the existing paint color on the house perfectly, and cleaned up after spotlessly.

Overall, work-wise they do good work. I think they did a good job in my house. The problems that I have perceived during this 5 month journey would be ? they need some sort of administrative assistant or someone to keep things in line. They need someone to call clients to let them know when someone will be in the house or not be able to be at their house at the scheduled time; they should have a written estimate/statement of what needs to be done and the estimated time and cost of the project; if the project runs into snags, they should call the client immediately to discuss if they would like to scratch part of the project or add hours to the project, in which an adjusted written estimate/statement should be sent. More thought should be put into how much a project will cost since the client would feel more secure and feel better about the project if it ran under than over. An itemized list of what was done or supplies that were needed would be helpful to, in my opinion. It lets the client know how much was done.
I bought the Angie?s Big Deal for 40 hours? worth of work for $1499 on 5/27. We discussed with Jeremy what could be accomplished in the 40 hours and that was ? replacing a sliding glass door with a French door; stabilizing a sliding glass door;
installing a ceiling fan and bathroom exhaust fan; hooking up the sump pump; replacing a door; fixing pipes to hot water heater; replacing rotten wood under a sliding glass door; moving a closet rod; securing a door; painting and replacing some wood by the front bay window; checking the rubber roof to make sure it wasn?t leaking; and spraying some insulation stuff in the attic due to the
finding of some asbestos. I was told that that should take up approximately the 40 hours but that we should save a few hours in case problems arise. Two of the easier jobs my dad took care of when he visited ? the closet rod and the securing the garage door. I was told what supplies I should buy and have them here when he starts. Work was to begin in the middle of July, but kept
getting moved back until it finally started on 9/1.
At the end of 40 hours (actually 48 hours), not all of the work could be completed, although they did put in a ceiling fan that I bought as a just in case if they had time. Jeremy told me that he would eat his 5 hours of time but I just had to pay for the other 3 hours and the supplies they bought.
We hired them again immediately to complete what was still left to do. I was told it would cost me $80 to do the drywall by the French doors, install the ceiling fan and bathroom exhaust fan and to wrap up the insulation in the attic. I ended up getting an
invoice for $500 more than what we discussed though. We settled on $200 more instead and I was told that they had to eat some of the cost and it felt like Jeremy wasn?t happy in the least with me.
I guess my issue is that I didn?t know what to expect from a contractor. I wish I came into this with more experience. This was my first house and unfortunately it needs a lot of work. I guess I just thought that with a contractor I would pretty much say what needed to be done and then it was done. I wouldn?t worry about painting, removing the debris that was left over or such like that. That?s probably true if more money was spent, but I thought that the Big Deal pretty much covered it. We?re a family of 5 pretty much living paycheck to paycheck so it took some time to save to afford this.
I think my biggest concern over all of this now that it?s over is the bathroom exhaust fan. In the beginning the bathroom exhaust fan ran well. It was silent and had no odor. After they came back to reinstall the dimmer switch that was taken out inadvertently when they added the bathroom exhaust fan, the fan started to have an odor and now sounds louder, in my opinion. I?m not actually sure if it?s going to be looked at or not to be honest since I think the job is considered done, nothing has been said about it and I was told that ?nothing changed but a switch. I know that would not affect it.? Since I was told that ?financially he cannot take any more hits on our job,? I?m unsure what?s going to happen with the exhaust fan. I didn?t even want to use it this morning
since I was unsure about it.
Again, overall they are good workers. I just think they need to work on the administrative side of things personally. Once that?s under control, they will be excellent, in my opinion.
"The 80$ is a typo, this should read 800$ and this whole project was a balance of budget. It was us trying to take care of the things they couldn't and them dealing with the things they could. It was also postponed because of scheduling conflicts on both sides of the fence, Namasier and client. Client is right, we do need an administrative assistant and when we start charging more maybe we will be able to afford it. We did all we could to please this client within her budget and actually ate quite a bit on this project based on the fact that they are a family of five living paycheck to paycheck. We actually do that allot and that is the reason I live paycheck to paycheck! lol. It was a pleasure to do work for this family and hope to do more in the future. I am in no way angry with this client although shocked by this review being a B. We will do what we can in the future to communicate more clearly. In this particular case we were put on the spot for numbers and quotes while we were finishing one job and being asked to move forward with another. We do provide detailed scopes of work and contracts to clients. We have not always done that with big deal clients who just purchase hours only."

"Initial Dates for start time on this project were shifted on purpose to give customer time to come up with additional finances. Once we changed the date we did have a run over on the job we shifted to. It is not customary for us to leave mid project so this project was delayed. We subbed out the dumpster service and apologized for the delayed pick up. As far as contract , we had already given an enormous discount for the delay per customers request. This did not leave any room for us to come out of pocket for any extras. Her roof required an extra square of shingles and an up charge for the dump load. In the end the customer only paid the original amount and Namasier Design ate 600$ out of pocket expense on this job. We (as always) did all we could to make things right and still received a review like this. I AM BEGINNING TO LOOSE MY FAITH IN HUMANITY."

"Customer is right, we did not get back to perform additional work on her job. We were experiencing a lot of complaints and even refunding money to customers because we were staying after initial purchased deals for extra work and other Angies lList customers were getting upset, so we tried to get everyones purchased items out of the way. Angies list can be a double edged sword, it brings lots of business (thats good) and it brings lots of business (can also be bad) . We are only a small company and are doing our best to keep up with the work load. We are also not willing to sacrifice quality. We are an owner operator company, it means i am in the field working and am doing my best to be the laborer and the salesman and the secretary and accountant. I apologize for the delayed responses and even lack of. I have tried to hire additional help to counter the issue. Employees bring a whole new set of issues into play. If you still need the work done we can come out but it will be at least three weeks until we can get you on the schedule."

I had to leave for N.C. and I was worried about mold. They came out within 24 hours to evaluate. I came back on a Saturday and they were able to come out on Monday afternoon (I had called them on Monday morning). They got it done and were gone by dinnertime. I was happy that they came out that same day I'd called AND did a great job.

The owner of the business came out and he answered all of our questions. The initial information stated we could choose from 5 tile types. However, he stated he would give us a 300 credit to pick out what we wanted. Anything in addition to $300.00 would be out of pocket. The job took longer than expected due to delays on the contractors part. Additionally the workers employeed for the tiling were not professional tile layers. After applying half of the tile and trim I discovered the tiler had put insufficient amounts of thin-set on the tiles, some were completely bare. I contacted Jeremy Rosier and told him I did not want that particular installer back at my home. Jeremy advised that he himself would come out the next day and I should take the tile off of the wall because it had not set yet. He said he would do it over. The next day the same installer and another installer showed up at my house. This is not what I was told would happen. Their job was a complete disaster. I fired them later that day. I have since had several other contractors here for estimates. All have agreed that it was an unprofessional, poorly done tile job. The contractors have told me it all needs to come out.

"This is a unfortunate situation, as I sent to your complaint resolution dept earlier, we were not given the opportunity to make this right and both parties agreed to end the relationship. They asked to not be billed further and they weren't, they agreed to not do a review, and we all agreed that I was unable to service their needs due to distance and availiabity . I have already shared those conversations and I have upheld my end of the deal. Had I been given the opportunity to come make this right I would have, but once we moved on there is no way I can retroactively refund money already invested in this project."

It was terrible! They came out and the salesman & owner were nice. They took out my cupboards and said I needed an exhaust fan. They didn’t install it because it wasn’t the right size and he didn’t finish the job. I had to hire someone else. He doesn’t follow through & I wouldn’t recommend him.
Response from Namasier Designs
"This particular customer hired us to come and take down some cabinets and move them. We took them down and she requested we didn't relocate them , rather put them in her garage. After taking them down we advised that she needed a hood vent above her stove. She purchased it without consultation online and had it shipped to her house and then went away on vacation. When we arrived and realized that she purchased one designed to go on an exterior wall and not over her island we advised her son who was there of the situation . When she returned home to see the vent not installed, she bought another but had someone else install it and then filed this review. This review is unfounded and to all future Angies list customers we will not accept jobs if we can't purchase the correct materials. This project and the customers incorrect ordering and lack of knowledge on what to shop for was a huge waste of everyones time."

Aside from some initial scheduling problems, all work performed well and in a timely manner. Justin and Cory did an outstanding job. They solved several challenging installation problems. I had planned to have only indoor levers replaced. They were working so quickly and doing such a great job that I went out and also purchased entry and backdoor keyed locks with deadbolts. One was a different size than the original one, but they figured out how to make it work. I had told them to not bother as we all discussed the situation didn't think it could be successful. They mulled it over and solved the problem. Holes also had to be drilled in our rear metal door as the new lock was completely different from the previous one. Justin and Cory were great. I very highly recommend them and would certainly not hesitate to use the services of this wonderful company!
All I can say is WOW! I first contacted Jeremy to repair a whole in the soffit on the house. Jeremy inspected all of the trim and found extensive wood rot and damage from carpenter ants. He and his crew replaced all the damaged trim and rebuilt the front porch as it had structural damage. They did an exceptional job - Jeremy is very detailed and he requires the same from his employees. Jeremy and his crew were all very friendly, polite and professional.
Because I was so pleased with their work I hired Jeremy again to move my laundry room from the basement to the main floor. He built a small room off of the kitchen by opening up a portion of the kitchen wall and building into the garage. Again, the work was very well done.
This last weekend the small leak in my basement wall grew to a stream of water. The water was coming in at the water supply. Jeremy looked at the leak on Saturday and had someone from his crew on site Sunday morning. They dug a whole by hand down to the water pipes and found and repaired the leak.
I won't be looking for a contractor anymore - I know I'll always call Namasier Designs. They will design, build and/or take care of any repairs you need completed. The workmanship is excellent, the people are excellent and all for a fair price!
