Contractor Alex Napoli starting to install my storm door on Sunday 6/16/24. He had to remeasure the storm door because the previous door I ordered was too big. Neither I or the contractor measured the door before purchasing the original door. He measured the door and assured me that with the existing frame he could install the new custom sized door even though it would be 1/2” too small. He came back on Monday 7/8/24 and attempted to install the new custom size door. After putting it up he realized that the door was smaller than anticipated and would have to build out the existing frame with wood. He also put the storm door on the wrong side of the frame so when it closes it hits the outside entrance door. Now he would have to come back on Saturday 7/13/24 to build out frame and complete the installation. He said it would be a lot more work and added an extra $200 for parts and labor. So in addition to my payment of $145 I would have to pay an additional $200 plus the other half of agreed upon price $140. The door would now cost me just for labor and parts $485.00. The door cost me $378.00 so now this project is way above my budget of $500. I gave Alex an additional $30 for transportation costs to pick up original door and then bring it back to Lowe’s.

Excellent - job was done better than anticipated and looks great. - The weather turned bad and Alex still was able to complete the job same day. He was meticulous and thorough. I highly recommend him and will use him again for future work.

Alex Napoli was a great worker, came and assessed the hole in my dry wall and patched it up. Any and all home repairs I now only ask him to come out and give me an estimate because he is honest and fair when it comes to my home. 10/10 i recommend him to all my friends and family!
