We've used Nature's Perspective for 3 rounds of landscaping, and this year for regular maintenance. The landscaping work has been pretty good, although on the expensive side. The maintenance work has been a nightmare since day one. Despite a hefty weekly price tag, their crews zip across our 0.6 acre property and are sometimes in and out in 40 minutes flat, leaving grass, sticks, leaves, and other debris on site. We've had multiple plants die, and our grass is brown despite repeated calls to address. We've had to prompt their crews to do all the things they promised in the contract -- weeding, pruning, cleanup. The few times we have managed to get the maintenance manager Ben onsite to see the mess, he always apologizes and says he's going to make things better, but then the next week we get the same messy, rushed service.

Well, apparently you can't post a photo here, so I'll tell you a nice story: Here's what happened: we planned for the first phase of our project this summer. Oasis, step 1 was rocking. We were so happy with it that we decided to do Oasis, step 2 this summer as well. Spoiler alert: it's absolutely brilliant. We're even happier than we were before. The award for best director, or landscape architect, goes to Tim Benz again, for listening to our North Shore waffling and our thoughts, then rolling out a really cool step 2, which is the first step of the "greens". Patience and fortitude should be Tim's middle names. Roberto, the foreman, and Jonny and Anselmo--remember them--rolled in and worked their butts off to put together some amazing greens around the patio and fireplace. It looks amazing! Do exactly what they tell you to do, and it'll all be great! Next we're on to step three, the decorative stuff. Poor Tim. He has no idea what he's in for, but he will do something amazing as he always does.

Nature's Perspective has done an excellent job maintaining our landscaping, and we've used them for many years. Tom Klitzkie, the owner, is very helpful and responsive. The same crew has made weekly visits to my property for so long that we've developed a nice relationship with them. If you're looking for a full-service landscaper and not someone who will merely cut the grass, you can't go wrong with Nature's Perspective. (I'm omitting the cost info, because it will vary depending on the size of your property.)

It went great. <br>To de-weed the yard, I didn't want to use Round Up, so my husband got a blow torch and torched all the weeds and NP came in and turned over all the soil. Win win because my husband got to buy a new tool. I had wanted to do the planting myself in the front yard to make it prairie style with lost of grasses, so they prepared the soil for me. Mark recommended some hardy plants and i got to purchase them from NP which saved me from going to a gigantic nursery. <br> <br>The hardscape was beyond fabulous. We have a small back yard and frankly I didn't even care about it, but Mark came up with some great ideas to build raised garden beds, he put large pavers that make a nice patio. It's beautiful. Now its my favorite place to be. <br> <br>When the guys came to work, they were like a well oiled machine. They didn't stop. Everyone knew what to do and they got it done. Incredible professionalism. <br> <br>They did such a good job, i'm going to have them do my parkway this year. Its going to be beautiful. <br> <br>

Original work done year before was not adequate. Manager promptly responded to my complaint and agreed that they had not sufficiently accounted for grade. Re-laid and extended drainage pipe and added dirt and sod to change slope - at no additional cost. Seems to be working well now. <br />

Both jobs were expertly, courteously, and meticulously done. The crews were on time, efficient, and knowledgeable. Mark Watson, the representative who made and gave the estimates, came on site to check on the work and progress of the crews. <br /> The vegetable garden design was created by me. The gravel paths involved excavating and leveling, removal of soil, laying weed cloth and pea gravel. The French drain was created at the wet end of the garden as an extra deep pit under the gravel path. <br /> The retaining wall in the front yard is approximately 9 feet long, 2 feet high flanked by small pillars. I had purchased the gravel base and sand for under the wall and laid out the design of bricks. The crew excavated and installed the compacted base properly backfilling behind the wall, and custom cut the bricks to size gluing them in place. The finished wall is a handsome structure. It is a visual testament to the quality of their work. <br /> They are also handling the contracting of repairs to our deck. It is a separate project that has not been scheduled yet. We most heartily recommend Nature's Perspective Landscaping because they take the job seriously, clearly communicating the details of the project to their crews and do not desert the once the crews arrive. Mark came on site to ensure all was being done correctly. He is very pleasant, knowledgeable, respectful of the homeowners ideas and lends his expertise in their service not his ego. <br />

They were prompt and efficient, but then the tree that they put in died and I contacted with them to come back and do it. They were super slow to respond and I ended up hiring somebody else over top of them. He was very nice when he responded. He has got 30 years of experience. I think he has a huge business load and I am sure he has a huge clientele due which he was slow to respond to my request. The first time they worked for us they gave us a quote that was competitive with the other quotes. They removed a ton of ivy in our backyard fairly quickly and sprayed it, and it has not come back this year and replaced a tree.

Quality work, quality communication. Nature's perspective is very precise and states accurately in writing what I wanted done. Owner came to premises to discuss work. Work was performed on dates specified and in a professional manner. Everything was cleaned up. Nature's perspective follows up if you have questions.

They did a beautiful job. I did need them to come back just to even out a couple of parts of the pavers. They did that without any hesitation. They're very cooperative, very friendly and very professional. The bid for our parking lot is super high, so we didn't have them do the parking lot. We chose them because they were artistic. We wanted it to look like an artistic work. We also had a sidewalk area, a walk along the side of the condo building. We didn't have them do that either because of the high price. We picked them for the prices where we need it to beautify the pavers. They came up with a beautiful proposal for that. The work they did was beautiful.

John came out soon after I called and I told him my budget and what I wanted it to look like. He then had a picture drawn up that showed what the yard would look like. I liked it, he gave me an estimate. I agreed but then had him change part of it and then it was re-estimated. Work started in July, everything went very well. Every month it becomes more beautiful. I received many compliments from the neighbors or people passing by.
