You could absolutely go to Home Depot or any other home improvement store and buy the thermostat for a cheaper price. However, as a qualified, licensed, and insured HVAC and Plumbing contractor, we have to figure overhead including salaries, insurance, and profit into our pricing. We cannot charge whole sale price for an item and expect to keep our business running efficiently. However, with the higher price you paid, you are also receiving access to our 24/7 emergency service program, which you would not receive buying the thermostat from a home improvement store. That being said we hope you will give us another chance. We feel that it is unfair for you to tell our current or prospective customers not to use our services because you felt that our prices are too high. You said on your this review that we were punctual, professional, and responsive to your needs, so these things should count for something as well. We are an honest company, and whether you agree or not, we believe our prices are fair. Like they say, you get what you pay for.
