Electrical Switch Installation or Repair Service
I was looking to have an EV charger installed. An estimate came and I paid well over the required 33% of the requested amount. We agreed upon the date and time and even added additional work. The entire dialogue was recorded in Angi's. Two days prior to the scheduled date, I again confirmed the date. When the date and time came (28 Aug 2026, 08:00 a.m.), no one showed up. Over the next eight hours, I made numerous attempts to call the owner and literally begged him (Joe) to call me. He never would call me to resolve the issue, even once replying in What's App. Then he started to say that I hadn't approved the contract, even though I had sent him $400 via Zelle and he thanked me with a screenshot of the money. Then he said I never confirmed the additional work, only to find out that he himself didn't send me the estimate until 6 hours after the work was to begin. He now claims that I will not receive my deposit back because "Angi's doesn't give refund." -- his words. Shady!

"Hi Douglas, I am sorry you feel this way as I have never had nor received a bad review since joining Angie's in 2008. You approved estimate 1 month ago for EV Charger after much correspondence and added additional work for same day, I agreed. I also ordered material online to be delivered to your home to save on cost and you agreed. You accepted 3 deliveries on 8/27, one day prior but never responded to my texts or emails from suppliers all day long up until 10:30 pm about receiving them. You did not respond till 11:15 am the following day that you received the deliveries. I then dispatched 2 Techs that were on a previous job that they could not leave in the middle of. This is the same courtesy we give all customers, not leaving till complete. Would you send men if you didn't know if customer or materials were there since you were not living there? I think NOT. You cancelled job while techs were in route and turned my men away at your front door then video taped them. Contract was written, emailed, sent link and screenshots to include additional work (Install 2 Ceiling fans, 2 dimmers and 2 fan speed controls), also not responded to. I provided a 2nd tech just because of this addition. This all occurred because you had never confirmed receiving delivery of materials or time. Communication is key to good business. Once again, I provided labor, material and manpower. I am just happy you have the material you paid for and work in place since it cannot be returned. Thank you for the opportunity and please reply to confirm your projects going forward to avoid this situation. Sorry for the inconvenience."

not just professional efficient! Unbelievably fair priced literally less than half of what a major competitor on this site quoted using my own parts and my own wire! Just because there are any energy list doesn’t mean some people won’t try and rip you off and fools will pay it. Mr. NAGY is a professional and very ethical. I’d recommend hiring him again and again!

It was very easy to work with Joe to finalize a quote and get the job scheduled. Once onsite, Carlos and his colleague knew exactly what to do and how to run the new electric circuit across the house from the electrical panel to the garage. The installed the EV charger we had purchased separately exactly how we wanted it. Everything worked perfectly. They even went the extra mile to come back and patch the garage drywall where they had made a few holes to run the cable even though it was not included in the job initially. Overall very happy with both the price we paid and the quality of the work. Will hire again for any electrical work we'll need.
