Everything went well and we were pleased.

Went very well, didn't take long for the guy to fix door and spring.

On September 7, it went great. I used this "24 hour service" to get my door fixed late in the evening, and got it taken care of within a couple of hours. The parts were replaced, the door was fixed, and I had no idea anything was wrong until my door opened when I came home for the evening on October 2. I called the number on my receipt, since it obviously would be under warranty. I was told by the dispatcher, that despite being a "24 hour service" she couldn't get anybody there before Wednesday. When I told her that was unsatisfactory, she offered to try to get someone there at 6am Tuesday. When I asked for advice on what to do with the open garage door and how I could get it closed (as it seemed stuck open), she just apologized and said that she wasn't a tech. The most she did (besides apologize and say that she was the only person available for the company) was direct me to a voicemail of somebody, and I let them know I wasn't pleased. Don't waste any money with this service.

They still have not completed and I suspect that this will wind up in litigation. I ordered a white garage door (no windows). When they finally arrived (which was after two non-shows), the installer had a cream colored door. After he had removed the existing door, he discovered the top panel had windows. This does not fit with my entire neighborhood. He had to install the door as the other door could not be reinstalled. I called numerous times for the top panel to be replaced with one that does not have windows. I didn't want the cream colored door but that was passable. They scheduled a couple of times and no one showed up. After that I have been ignored. They admitted in a voicemail that they owed me a new panel, but they apparently cannot take the time to follow up. I am making a demand under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and if they do not respond I will pursue in court. I do not have a problem with the installer as he only had what they gave him. I would not use this vendor again. Their customer service is atrocious.

I ordered a white garage door. When the installer eventually showed up to install the door (which was rescheduled several times and one scheduled time no one showed up) the garage door that they sent with the installer was cream colored (not white). After the installer had removed the existing door he discovered that the door he was provided had windows in the top panel. I did not order such a door and it is inconsistent with every type of garage door in my neighborhood. He had to put on the door as there was no other choice. I called numerous times for the top panel to be replaced (not the whole door as I was willing at the time to accept the cream color instead of white). Garage door of Houston said they would replace the panel and a time was scheduled but no one showed up at all. I have called several other times and even received a call saying they owed me a new panel, but I have since been unable to get any response and still have the door with windows in the top pane. I am now in the process of preparing a demand letter under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and if I do not receive a response I will file suit against them. I would not recommend them at all and will not use their services in the future. I have held off on replying here thinking they would respond. I will say that I do not have a problem with the installer as he was professional and did the work he was asked to do.

As commented to Ms. K. Mitchell: "Dwayne called at 9:00 a.m. to advise he would be here in 30 minutes. He arrived on time with William and met with my son to assess my problem and give a quote. They left for parts/supplies after telling us what was needed and that they would return by 2:00 p.m. Being considerate of our time gave my son an opportunity to do an errand. Dwayne and William returned at 1:30 p.m....30 minutes earlier. The job was finished at a good price and they left at 3:00 p.m. I am very pleased." That was 12/31/2015 and today is 01/17/2017 and all is still well.

Before I arranged to send them out (the property is tenant occupied, so I was not there to meet them), I gave them my phone number so we could discuss any proposed repairs, costs and expenses, and the extent of any warranty coverage BEFOREHAND, and then proceed to make the repairs once I approved them. They went out, did not call me to discuss, fixed the garage door, and charged me another $250 dollars without discussing anything with me! And they did not give me any warranty coverage from the previous repair just 2 months prior. Do not do business with this company.

I used a coupon provided by Angie's list and prepaid the initial work to replace the springs.  The first thing the technician did upon arriving was the 23 Point Safety Inspection that was included in the work purchased.  He recommended additional work that could be done and the benefits they would provide.  We decided to have the wheel rollers replaced and were quoted a price. The technician did quality work and completed it quickly.  The garage door is working again and is much quieter than before the springs and wheel rollers were replaced. <br> <br>When we received the bill for the extra work it was a little higher than expected.  A quick call to customer service revealed what had happened and they immediately credited back the difference.  I was pleased with how they handled this. <br> <br> <br> <br>

Repairman was scheduled to arrive within a 3 hrs window but called within 10 minutes and arrived 25 minutes letter. <br />Very polite and professional in explaining how it should work and how it could be repaired with several options. I chose to replace entire opener unit instead of just a belt due to overall age and condition.

I called on March 2nd about 6:30 in the evening for an emergency call to reset the garage door because a roller had come off. The guy arrived about 9:50 p.m.  It took him less than 30 minutes which was great.  He told me they needed to come back to complete the job to replace all the rollers and we agreed that Saturday was best and he would let the dispatcher know.  No one contacted me for that Saturday appointment.  I waited a few days and then forgot about it because I was going out of town.  When I got back in town a week later, I called and was given an appointment for 9:00 a.m. on the 17th.  The person setting the appointment told me it was a firm appointment time.   Due to my work schedule, I had a friend come over to my house to give the repairman access to the garage. The repairman didn't show up until NOON.  I called to complain to a manager at the company but was put on hold for so long that I hung up.  I never spoke to a manager.  The cost for this job was $400 which I paid the night of the emergency repair.  I paid by check.  Had I known what the service would be like, I would have paid by credit card so I could contest the charge and the service.  I will not be using this company again.  The work product is good but the punctuality and professionalism for the price speaks volumes. Hence, the poor marks.
