After they served the door, the door would not close properly. They came out several time to try and fix the issue. At the end of the day, I had to end up and replace the entire garage door opener.

It was a good experience. There seemed to be a disconnect in operations. I had to have them come out twice for an estimate. That would of taken my experience from good to great.

From initial call to Garage Door Services to the completion of repairs, I was treated politely and respectfully. The technician was here within an hour and a half of contact. He explained in detail what needed to be done and the approximate time it would take and the cost estimate. I asked a lot of questions, especially about safety because I am in a neighborhood with lots of children, and realize the importance of garage doors working properly to avoid accidents and injuries. The technition graciously and throughly answered each one. He was extremely professional and understanding of my concerns. <br />I would recommend this company to any and everyone in need of repair to garage doors. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I will call them whenever I need garage repair services in the future!

Scheduling was easy, but they forgot about a meeting that delayed the tech by about 90 minutes. I only found that out after I called them to ask why they were 30 minutes late. Once he got here, it was all business. After a few minutes, he told me what the problems were, what needed to be replaced, and a cost estimate. He also recommended a garage door opener replacement since ours was acting up, having electrical problems. I elected to go ahead with the garage door repairs, but I'll replace the opener myself, saving about $100 on the opener and the $150 installation fee. The repair took about 90 minutes, the door works great now, and I paid for the repair via credit card over his phone. Very convenient.

The installation was very good. There was slight miscommunication in the beginning about using Angie's list coupon. I paid little extra in the beginning but after talking to Brandon Brett all was taken care with credit !

Called GDS to have a very loud Genie chain drive opener replaced with a Guardian belt drive opener on Friday January 15th at about 3:00 pm. We were quoted a price and that is exactly what it cost . . . no hidden gotchas. GDS sent an installer out on Saturday morning by 9:00 am. Received a call 20 minutes before arrival Work began on time. Work was completed on time. All that I would expect from GDS. We've used them twice before with superior results. The installer was professional, friendly, very polite, answered all my questions, and cleaned up after he was finished. He explained all that I needed to know about the new opener. He even made modifications to allow the door to open up further than with the old opener without any up charges. We couldn't be happier with the work performed When we're ready to replace the other door opener, there's only one company that we will be considering . . . Neighborhood Garage Door Service of San Antonio. They do great work and they are very responsive <br />

He was able to replace the springs and rollers the same evening and returned to replace the motor the next day. <br /> I appreciated that he was able to accommodate me after 6pm.
