The materials and installation were fine. However, they installed the new tracks too low and the cabinets would not open more than 5 inches! I called several times to call it to their attention and basically was told their job was to install the garage door and any other issue not directly related to the door itself was my problem. I was not in a state to fight it so anything kept in those cabinets remains there. Their attitude was extremely unprofessional, particularly when the installer clearly was at fault. If you hire them, stand by and watch the installation!

He replaced it with two springs at twice the price. When he left the door would not open unless I pressed the door butten 2 or 3 times. It stopped on its way up. I'll try to adjust it myself.

There was an additional charge. They said that the rollers needed to be replaced and so it went up to about $100. I don't if the additional charge for the rollers was warranted or not. I am not sure. The quality seemed fine.

Spencer and Kody were prompt and quickly assessed the situation. They then proceeded to explain what happened to my old system and what went wrong; and then provided a quick and affordable solution. Unlike other garage door services where I have felt taken advantage of due to my lack of insider and technical knowledge, Spencer was very sincere and I felt I could trust him. I highly recommend this team to anyone whether they need service or new equipment.

Technician was running late, but he did a 'courtesy' call to let me know he was running late, that I really appreciated. <br /> He kindly explain me the problem and what could cause if I don't repair / replace the springs. <br /> He look for ' discount coupon' on line for me and helped me to save some money. He left wires and cords hanging. I really thought the work wasn't complete. The garage door opener (button)was filthy, he left his materials on the garage door floor. The price was about twice you will pay at Home Depot. When he described the options, I had to ask the cost more than once. The name on the warranty doesn't match the name of the buisness here. Suspicious practice throughout. <br />

<p>Contractor showed up at last possible minute of the day.</p> <p>Contractor didn't have the parts needed so installed two different springs on the door mechanism.</p> <p>He charged $200+ per spring for parts that are available for ~$50/piece on dozens of web sites.</p> <p>He tried to talk me into bearing changes for $125 each... I could tell the bearings were fine.. and later checked the price should have been ~$15 each!</p> <p>He charged $200 for 45 minutes of non-intensive labor.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Basically, charged double (at least) of what the job should have cost.</p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p> <br />

<p>I was not present I talked to the repairman on the phone, my wife was home and dealt directly with the repairman and paid his bill, she said he was polite and finished the job quickly.</p> <p>1. Repairman started trying to sell my wife and me a new garage door, ours is too heavy he said. We have had this door for 10 years without prior problem.</p> <p>2. I explained I only wanted the opener repaired, we would consider door replacement later. 1 of the 2 springs on the door opener was broken and I agreed we should replace both which, I thought, would be approximately $400. I did not ask for a estimate, which I should have.</p> <p>3. He did not give my wife a receipt, told her it would be sent to me on line, however, she paid him when he said the service was completed.</p> <p>4. When I returned home I checked my e-mail and it was there, more than 7 pages for a simple repair and I cannot tell for sure if he installed used parts or not but from the look of the receipt he did. You will find it unbelievable for such a simple job, you cannot print all of the receipt.</p> <p>5. NO. I WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN, and if friends ask about them I will tell them of my experience.</p> <p><br /></p>
