The provider was paid by Angieslist but never showed up to do the job. Upon purchase, I scheduled the appointment for about six weeks out. About two weeks before, I came upon a conflict and phoned to reschedule. I phoned probably 4 times before finally receiving a call back a week later. I then rescheduled the appointment and again, emailed and phone numerous times to confirm and I received no response, nor did he show up to do the job. Angieslist even tried to communicate with him a number of times and he was unresponsive to them as well. While I cannot speak to his work, I can speak to his ethic and character to the degree of my experience. I would not recommend.

Nest Works is a class act!! We gutted and completely renovated two bathrooms, and had wood floors installed throughout our home. As owner and designer, Robyn comes to discuss your goals and holds your hand through the whole planning process if you want. Robyn is also on the job everyday making sure everything looks perfect. Their crew is top notch skilled. Attention to detail is a hallmark of Nest Works crew as well as regarding Robyn's expertise. Cooperation and responsiveness from our first meeting and initial plans, throughout construction, and when needing changes makes working with Nest Works very easy. Nest Works positive approach in pleasing its customers and offering overall and detailed suggestions makes this company especially great. The crew was here promptly everyday, so unlike the horror stories one hears. Scheduling is well planned and efficient. I got their name from YELP and Angie's List and agree completely with all the positive comments. We highly recommend Nest Works for your next job with a professional, reliable and friendly residential construction company.

I called Robyn and as usual, he responded immediately and was here to help! I had water damage and mold in my main bathroom that I needed gone. He and his team came and got the job done promptly and totally to my satisfaction. After the mold was cleared they replaced all the drywall that needed replacing and it was like new again. Water damage and mold is no joke and they treated it appropriately to keep my family safe. I appreciate how fast they were able to help me and how great they were. I already have another bid for more work and as soon as I get my tax refund, that's where it is going. I highly recommend them. Thanks Robyn and team for a great job!

Robyn was on time and got to work after evaluating what needed to be done. Once the damaged flooring board and base board were removed he went to Home Depot to get the required supplies and was done by the end of the day. He also helped me change wheels on the mesh door down stairs.

Robyn did a great job for me! He refinished quite a large deck & railings with Deckover, as well as fixing some of the lattice below the deck that the dog's had chewed through and bolted a gazebo to the deck. Secured gutters back on to the house, as they had come loose after some years, as well as some other random things that needed attention...installed a outlet in the back room, fixed an umbrella pole, replaced/installed motion sensor lights on the side of my house, removed an old satellite dish mount from the roof and resealed that area in the roof. All this at a reasonable price (as quoted) and he is super polite, clean, well spoken, trustworthy & on time. I highly recommend.

I hope it's not too late to give him a review it's been a couple of years but I have to recommend Robyn to anyone looking to renovate your homes!!! This is the only construction company to use. The work is absolutely beautiful. Professional and friendly. Dedicated to make the customer happy! I would never have any work done on my home that wasn't done by Nest Works. I have had so many compliments on my kitchen he remodeled that it is now the hang out place for all my friends, family and neighbors. He turned a dream into a reality. Can't wait to start on our next project. Robyn and his crew deserves so much more for their effort and accomplishments!

Robyn is easy to get along with and great to work with, with none of the bad attitude or inflated prices that you're likely to get from similarly experienced carpentry professionals. We recently completed an extensive renovation of our 4,400 sq ft home, and we brought Robyn in to install the 20+ doors and base/case mouldings. It was all Craftsman style, and he and his team did a wonderful job of completing the work to our specs - even re-doing certain details where we felt some adjustment was needed. Later, once the house was painted, I brought Robyn back to help me install our kitchen cabinets, relying on his cabinetry experience to accurately level the bases and safely hang the uppers. It all came together quickly, and Robyn was once again a pleasure to work with. We're still not 100% done with our renovation, and while I'm doing most of the remaining finish work myself, I plan to bring Robyn back to help with certain projects if he's available. At the very LEAST, please call this guy for an estimate before you decide who to hire. Once you've met him, his experience, personality, and fair prices will probably sell themselves!

He is not some uptight carpenter who thinks they know it all and doesn't listen to you, he is the exact opposite and it really payed off with his work. I couldn't be more happy. If you are looking for someone who is not only good at what they do, but someone who will help you create your home work, Robyn is the man!

Nest Works showed up to check my roof and put my mind at ease. I had waited until the last minute and panicked like everyone else in LA and called during Christmas season. Robyn showed up at my door with a giant smile in spite of my bad timing- beautiful assistant at his side. I have had this pair working on my Studio City home for years- and as a household with single women I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of care they constantly give with cost effective quotes. Robyn always takes time to inform me of my options. I had recently tried another service for roofing as I had not booked Nest Works and was worried it might rain before there was a service date available. The gutter work turned into a reroofing pressure pitch. I declined- thankfully waiting for Robyn. He came on the day he booked the job and it turns out my roof is in great order. This saved me several thousand dollars. Finding a truthful and competent Handiman is priceless. Do yourself a favor and take worry out of the equation when it comes to keeping your home in working order. Just think to book ahead if possible- I'm certain Robyn will be taking select clients due to high demand. I feel so lucky he considers me a valued customer.

We love Robyn and the Nest Works Team! We have 1926 mission style home. The previous owners redid the bathrooms and kitchen in the 1970s. We wanted to return those spaces to something closer to the original. Nest Works beautifully renovated one bathroom for us on-time/on-budget and we knew we had found a great contractor. We are now nearing completion on the much larger project, kitchen/bath/bedroom renovation. We are thrilled with the results. Robyn and his crew are careful, considerate craftsmen. We can recommend Nest Works with enthusiasm!

Hands down Nest Works is the best! We interviewed several companies for our general remodeling and Nest Works quality was very evident from our first meeting. The work was of the highest quality, the follow through was terrific and the prices were extremely fair with no hidden cost. I would say that if you are remodeling any part of your house, you will be very happy with Nest Works. They treat your home like it was theirs and the pride in workmanship, which many times seems like a lost art, is very apparent.

We took a leap of faith in engaging Nest Works, requested a quote from Robyn for a set of custom doors in the restroom and also custom kitchen cabinets. Robyn professionally quoted a reasonable package for all and we decided to place the order. His team installed the doors and cabinet within the promised timeline. The installation was meticulous and carefully crafted to blend in with the existing structure. The attention to details was clearly their biggest strength, and the design was first rate. We can't ask for more professional treatment and communication. It was clear that they care about their products, craftsmanship, and customer service. We highly recommend Nest Works for your home improvement projects. We are looking forward to the next opportunity to engage Robyn and his team. First rate service all around.

We had been wanting to install additional shelving in our kitchen and bathroom since we moved in. After getting quotes from a couple different people we went with Nest Works. Robyn was professional, knowledgeable and quick. He matched our existing shelving perfectly and maximized the space for us. We LOVE our new shelves!! When I initially contacted Robyn, I had a lot of questions and concerns, but he very patiently explained the hows and whys of the methods and materials they use. He and his team did our job at a reasonable price, and their suggestions and craftsmanship made the results better than our expectations. They obviously take great pride in their work, so we would recommend them to anyone who is planning to do home improvements.

He arrived on time, worked very efficiently, and now I have non-wobbly stools I can enjoy eating on. Would highly recommend Robyn for any woodwork job you might have around the house!

Everything went super smooth. The deck and stairs came out beautiful!! They were very courteous towards my family and were very patient w/us because we had to share the driveway. Every day they left the jobsiite clean and safe which was important to me because I have children.
