New England Appliance, formerly the Appliance Outlet, is a family-owned business that has been serving New England since 1936. The company’s philosophy is simple – we buy appliances for the least amount possible and pass those savings on to the customer. In line with that philosophy, New England Appliance sells both discounted new appliances and scratch & dent” appliances direct from the manufacturers. Our membership in the national and retail buying group BRANDSOURCE enables us to purchase actually less than the big box stores pay. We are able to pass on the savings to our customers. Most customers save anywhere from 20-50% off the regular price. Our customers include individual home owners, landlords, real estate developers, property managers, state and local agencies and many other small businesses. Just ask any one of our customers why they shop here and most will tell you it’s more than just our prices. The prices may bring people in the door, but it’s the service and knowledge they receive from the staff that keeps them coming back. They didn't do anything. They were nice, I guess. I personally don't remember to be honest. They didn't even charge us anything because it wasn't worth fixing. They were very good on punctuality and professionalism.

<p>When they came out they told me the compressor needed replacing in the refrigerator and it would cost $800.00</p> <p>plus labor. They also told me I needed 4 new igniters for my gas stove burners. I was quoted a price of $20.00 - $30.00</p> <p>per igniter plus labor. It cost me $89.00 for the estimate on 8-31-2015. I was told they would contact me when the parts</p> <p>came in .They came back on 9-16-2015 to repair the burners. I had been expecting a quicker return date. I don't see why it took over two weeks to get 4 igniters. The igniters were replaced quickly and I was charged $181.25 for parts and labor. It seemed to me to be a little on the high side but I didn't question it at the time. When I looked at the receipt later to figure out how much I was charged  for parts vs. labor the receipt was not itemized so I could not tell. My main complaint is that less than two weeks later on </p> <p>9-27-2015 one of the burners failed to lite again. I would not expect that to happen. I will </p> have to contact them and hope I don't get charged again to come back out and look at it again. If I do get charged for another house call I will not be using them again. <br />

The guy that came was very nice, didn't make a mess and had my fridge fixed in 40 minutes. I would call them again for any appliance repairs. I also bought my appliances there 2 years ago and they had great people to help me chose what was best for me. <br />

I have a Home Warranty with AHS and the Home Warranty company called A-1 Appliance to come out and do my repairs.  A-1 Appliance told my husband many parts were needed and would be ordered and they'd be back in touch to schedule the next visit. <br />  I heard nothing by 4 days later so I called the AHS and they knew nothing.  It turns out  that A-1 does not work on "sealed systems" but they did not convey that or anything else to my Home Warranty Company who also dropped the ball.  They next called New England Appliance Repair who came right away and also told me they needed many parts.  Instead of waiting days and days, N.E. Appliance expedited the shipment of the parts and they're return to my home so that within a couple of days the repairman Bill was back here repairing not only my refrigerator but my wall oven as well which was way off temperature.  I will tell AHS in the future that I only want to use N.E.A.!

They have the best prices and best service. They go the extra mile. They are fantastic. They just go out of their way to be accommodating. Larry Neucom is really nice. They are not pushy at all. I would rather support this business since it's family owned than support a larger business. They also back what they sell you. It's almost unbelievable.

What sets this store apart from all of the rest is it's personalized service as well as their fantastic prices. In about 5 minutes I described to Larry what I needed, and in no time he found exactly the brands and models that made the most sense to me. I needed a gas dryer that vented to the right, which was very difficult to find. I even had purchased one from Lowes which the "senior" sales person assured me vented to the right, but after they delivered it, we found out that it did not! In any case, Larry helped me out and not only did I get exactly what I needed - it was at least $100 less than the big chain stores.
