Fence Install or Repair
We called and visited in person the route 9 southboro location. We left a 825 cash deposit ?. We then got an install date of December 9 however we then got six inches of snow and have frozen ground. We visited after no reply To out email to reschedule install date and we were told we had to pay a 20% restock fee?!!! We didn?t customer anything . We?re never told Anything about this prior to accepting quote, inquired about dig safe and proof of insurance! When we pushed for the insurance and answers how a fence could properly be installed by hand digging when the ground is frozen they were not happy and became nasty when we said we no longer want to move forward . After a pleasant argument we were hastily given our money back.. the kicker here in the way out the door the loser calls me a CUNT? classy!!!! ! Beware and stay clear of idiots with no class!

Some elements of this review do not reflect the full sequence of events, so we want to provide context respectfully and professionally. The materials for this project had already been special-ordered by the time the customer requested cancellation. In these situations, the manufacturer assesses a restocking fee, and we explained this during the conversation. Regarding installation conditions, our crews continue installing safely until the ground is fully frozen, and DigSafe and insurance documentation are always available to customers upon request. Although we had already ordered the materials, we chose to issue a full refund immediately as a goodwill gesture and to resolve the situation amicably. We also acknowledge that during a tense exchange, unprofessional language was used by a team member. This is not acceptable, and we sincerely apologize. We are addressing this internally to ensure our communication remains respectful even in challenging situations. We are proud to employ a diverse and hardworking team. Respect and dignity are core values in all our interactions, both within our company and with our customers. We remain committed to maintaining a positive and inclusive environment for everyone we serve."

I wasn't going to leave a review but since I haven't gotten my deposit back here goes......We went with a recommendation from Angie's list for this company. The person who came out to give the estimate was great and we were happy with the price. Agreed to the estimate on April 13, 2021 and gave a deposit. Didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks. Finally got a date of June 3rd for install. The night before, received an email they wouldn't be out June 3rd. Asked for deposit back and now still waiting for deposit back and no one wants to return my emails.

Very well. They came out to measure twice as they wanted to be cautious about installing near a retaining wall and around some trees. Very professional both times. Due to covid, took a bit of time for the materials to arrive as expected. Soon after, they sent a large team to get the whole install done in one day. They were very neat and efficient. Looks great and solid. This was over 2 months ago and still looks perfect. Thanks!

Paul Massad Landscaping referred us to NEF as "the best installers around". They were certainly right. The process, from pre-estimate options, to walking the proposed fence line, to the installation, and even to checking back in on some last minute details - everything about our experience was exceptional. The people we met, Isaac, Pablo, Matt, and several others were pleasant and professional - they clearly LOVE their job and take a lot of pride in their work. They were a pleasure to have around. We loved the attention to detail, from touch-up paint to precision gate operation - just what we would have asked for.

NEF was great to work with. They came out quickly for an estimate and scheduled the work in a reasonable amount of time to. Not only did they replace the broken posts, the set them all in concrete, which the original installer had not bothered to do...thus the deterioration and weakened state they were in. Pablo and Matt were very professional on the job and even replaced more than was originally called for at no additional charge because they deemed it necessary. I would definitely use NEF again.

Perfect. The group of men who showed up worked incredible hard for 13 hours straight! They groomed our mulch and driveway whe. It was all up. Everything aligned perfectly. Wiped down everything. Showed up on a Sunday just to hang the gates. Perfect.

This is such a great company, from fair estimate to answering specific questions from Mr Isaac to the installation from Pablo and his crew . Every part of the process was efficient and fantastic, the crew took off the old wood fence and install 195 foot vinyl fence in one day , they were professional, strong and fast . Very happy with the fence replacement done on my property.

This company was professional, punctual, very friendly and put in a high quality fence. The fence has withstood a New England winter, without any metal hardware rusting or loosening up in the ground come springtime. Every worker was friendly, accommodating for all of our questions and needs, and even moved up our fence installation in order to have it finished before a housewarming party we were hosting outside! They put up a quality fence with about 190 feet of PVC privacy vinyl and 70 feet of black chain link in 1 day. The best part about this company besides their friendly demeanor was the price! You can't beat a company willing to price match! I have recommended this company to several people, and our neighbor is using them to get his fence installed, and able to seamlessly connect it to ours!

New England Fence really came through for me. I was having trouble getting quotes for fencing in the middle of winter but they communicated regularly, provided the best quote, and performed the work when they said they would. I am very happy with the finished product and the workers that came to my home. I would recommend them to anyone and would definitely use them again should I need more fencing in the future.

We already had gotten multiple quotes for fence removal and pulled up next to their branded truck at a light. We followed them to their shop and they quoted us HALF what we had gotten from other contractors. They were at our house doing the work 30 minutes later, workers were INCREDIBLY polite and professional. When there turned out to be a second small fence behind the main one, they removed that too under the same quote.

The folks at New England Fence couldn't have been better. They were polite and professional and did a great job of installing our new fence. They removed some brush that was in the way, and even cleaned the fence after it was installed. They made the process so easy, and they even price match! Everything from first call to The install went really smoothly. Isaac came out and looked at the job and listened intently. I had the quote the next day. Called dig safe made sure no permit was required. Fence install was able to come a week early. I met them and got a quick look at first part of fence and came home later that day to a perfectly installed fence. I have received many compliments in the short time we have had the fence

Had a backyard fenced in to protect a new puppy. Called New England Fence, they came within a day to talk through options and give me a free estimate for the work. I had a formal estimate within a few days and the work was scheduled and completed with two weeks. Issac was responsive, and checked in on the installation in progress to make sure all was going as planned. The installation was finished same day. The quality of the work was outstanding and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend this company.
