Fantastic. The tech arrived on time and completed the job in about 2 hours. The new unit was taller than the one being replaced and they provided the parts needed to make the adjustment.

The New Water Softener System was installed in the Garage. It fit perfectly in a designated area in the Garage. I am very happy with the level of service and quality of product. I did my research on the Clack Water Softener System. It is known for it's reliable/longevity.

Fantastic. Justin and his dad contacted me immediately and coordinated the whole process. They got parts within a day and installed around my family's schedule. They quoted an extremely fair price and did the whole job for that price including removal of the old system and full install and verified operation. Great family business!

The owners Chris and Eric are fantastic to work with--they are real pro's and the kind of experienced, trustworthy, and hardworking folks who ensure the job is done right.
They were quick to respond to our request for a quote and came out within a day or two to review our well situation and to suggest the proper sizing and scope of a water tank installation and associated pieces and parts. They made smart suggestions and made cost-effective recommendations so we could get the most bang for the buck. They promptly ordered the parts and when they came in, immediately called us for installation.
After they installed the tank, reworked the well house plumbing and installed electronics to run the tank pump--all we could say was WoW! The pump house was cleaned up, with simple plumbing lines, and the water pressure in the house jumped up from about 45 to 75 psi. Their work made a huge difference in our house operations. We are very appreciative of the quality and efficiency of their work.

As always, they are easy to reach by email/texting so I don't get grief here at work for personal calls. They schedule as much as possible to help you avoid vacation time, they come prepared for the job (i.e., you don't get any of that "Sorry, have to go to Home Depot to get parts- be back in 3 hours nonsense with other providers!!!) and focus.

They arrive on time, if not early, and you aren't waiting or wondering.

Before the job, we chatted about future use and went with the 100gal and it was spot on. They also live by the credo to not sell something that is manufactured by someone who scalps consumers with design changes that make many systems obsolete in two years simply because the filters don't fit anymore.

Newman Water Services only deals with long-standing, long-established, conservative suppliers and vendors.

While I could pay more or less for another brand, especially a big box RO system (notorious for filter incompatibility after two year- just read their own customer reviews!), Newman Water Services have sold and installed a right- sized system, with some future expandability, with a long-filter compatibility life cycle, and they did it neat but still made it accessible and serviceable. Some installers will just jamb it in there and walk away. Newman spent the time to make sure that the lines were long enough to extract the system for service so I could do my own filter changes- they never pushed once adding services like that. They gave me a set of spare filters, and went over all the maintenance and operation steps, too. Even took the time to show me with a demo set how to connect/disconnect the sleeved couplings so I could later add the icemaker line myself.

The other thing was that Chris Earls called me the next day to see if there were any leaks, then again about two weeks later and then one more time this week. Really shows they care and just don't walk away.

They also took the cartons and trash but left me all labels for reference.

While I do most work on our home myself, I stop where it comes to major electrical and any significant plumbing issues and guys like Newman are great to turn to. Being a small outfit, they can't afford to come back to redo things- they are motivated to do it right and the best way possible.

It's why we went no where else but to them for the RO system.

Also- be a good customer. They appreciated how we cleaned out our under sink area, really cleaned it, ensure

d we had good lighting, and so forth. As much as I appreciate reviews and writing them, I cannot stand people who are pigs or rude and expect square pegs in round holes or instant gratification.

Treat your vendors right and most of the time you'll be surprised.
Excellent - I had initially called to have them come out to do an evaluation/estimate of our current set-up and just mentioned the pump saver over the phone since several of our neighbors wells having been having issues. Eric and Chris were on time and brought the pump saver just in case I wanted to have it installed. Great customer service and they answered several questions I had about softeners and our current set-up. Eric also performed a free test of our water and priced out an alternative to our current water softener.
I would highly recommend this company to friends and family and will definately be using them in the future.
Newman Water Services (NWS) was ** outstanding**. Despite the demand for services like theirs with the stress of the drought, they were ALWAYS on time and we loved how they communicated by email, especially with all our questions. Mr. Chris Earls would even take time to key-up a detailed email- not just "Yes" or "No". We knew we had well problems already and asked NWS for their thoughts even though they aren't well drillers. They took the time to give us some back-pocket working knowledge of things (this is our first well) so we could speak intelligently with the well companies. NWS also carefully looked over what gear we could re-use and what should be replaced now, what could be deferred. They didn't shot gun it or just a quick once-over.

NWS also sells water treatment services, filters, and softeners and not once- ever- did they push that. They cared about our budget and kept the focus on what we called them for. That alone was unique as every other bid pushed this or that despite the fact all we wanted (could afford) was the tank and pump. You can't even buy a burger without being asked 'you want fries with that?'. No upsell or pressure.

Despite the drought, they didn't gouge their labor OR equipment/material prices. We looked online for the pump type, the tank, electronics, etc. and they were so fair it was amazing. That told me right there they have great credit and relationships with their suppliers. I have no problem with some added-on costs to parts and equipment as they have to pay shipping, handling, buy minimum quantities sometimes, etc. so no problem- but their markups were exceptoinally fair- almost small. Plus, NWS detailed by make and model what they recommended- not just "new 2.5HP pump". They put in the model number and each item was priced, even small items.

They were also very flexible. Our old equipment when we bought the house was on nothing more than old pre-fab air conditioner pads. We wanted to install new lines and make a single large slab for the pump, reservoir and future filtration/softenening equipment. They did the tank and pipe runs, let us do the slabs, and then they came back to finish at no extra charge, no fuss. If anything, they appreciated how we cared enough to help them do it right, as well. They had a guy who did concrete work if needed but never pushed it and supported us doing it ourselves. They even gave us some suggestions for the dimensions, location, etc.

I waited to do this posting to ensure all was well and it has been fantastic. Several days later and then again after two weeks, they called to make sure things were working right. Amazing.

I did ask them about three weeks later if they would do a tweak to the location of some pipes on the slabl as I needed a little more space for the pump housing framing I was building around the gear and they offered to do it for nothing. Again- amazing.

The next day I got home and it was done- no worries, never had to call, never baby sit, no ignored calls or emails.

Our neighbors had already booked someone else to do their tank (our entire neighborhood has had water problems due ot the historic drought) and they already have leaks, pressure switch leaked after a few days, and a PVC fitting was not primed before gluing and barely covered the new pipes with 1/2 of soil. Their contractors didn't come out promplty at all and even asked for a service charge blaming the heat. They sincerely reqret not giving Newman a shot.

Mr. Eric Newman is the owner and has built this company with his own two hands for over two decades and personally works each job. Mr. Chris Earls also works each job but is Newman Water's main communication and contract manager. Chris I leaned has a degree is in computer science and had a long career in the industry but wanted to settle down- yet he brings his skills and expertise are spot-on, his analytics, knowledge of engineering/sciences is a gift- everything is very, very precise- almost artistic. Mr. Newman is a perfectionist and loves what he does. Almost Zen like.

I highly, highly recommend anyone needing water storage, pump, filtration services to start with NWS. Get several bids but you'll want to come back to NWS. We had lots of low-ball bids and some high ones- even from local, long-established competitors of NWS. There just was no comparison.

I get very tired of for example when an owner's son or fancy rep who doesn't do any of the work comes out in a clean truck, Tommy Hilfiger shirt, good ole boy smile and does-up a bid for something but then some crew that looks like they just got picked-up under a bridge comes out and does the work on your home and property.

Mr. Newman and Mr. Earls are there for the bid, and they are there to do the work. You don't get a run around or one guy giving you promises and another guy stuck having to do the work.

I don't often write comments, but these guys were outstanding. Haven't seen anything like it in a very long time. Sort of old school with state of the art communication. Simply outstanding.
