After contacting me thru angi we agreed to meet June 18th 2025. He came and took the floor plan virtually with his phone. I explained the reason I needed the floor plan, which was because a city inspector came and said the house wasn't permitted to have a finished basement with a bathroom. Mr. Dorville told me at the time that we could leave the bathroom and closets out of the initial floor plan and if the inspector indeed wants it on there he will come back a second time to add it. After taking the virtual floor plan we signed a contract thru docusign. The amount agreed upon was $900 that had to be paid up front to pay his architect. I sent him the money with zelle along with a $100 tip. After talking to the city inspector 2 days later he confirmed that we did need to include the bathroom and closets i called mr dorville and scheduled for him to come back a second time on June 26th. The morning of he called to reschedule for the 27th due to an emergency. On the 28th messaged me and told me his aunt passed and asked it we could reschedule for the next week. He came and he took the measurements and said it would add an additional cost of $263 of with we paid $200. The next time we spoke was July 25 a d he told me that he did not recieve the plans yet from the architect. After that anytime I called he did not pick up. On September 7th he texted me saying his architect ran off with $27,000 worth of architectural plan and he would be refunding me in person on the 15th. On the 15 he texted me saying he mailed the check. After that he stopped responding. On November 24th he responded saying that he did not win a bid for a contract but he will be compensating me. Since then I haven't been able to contact him.

Sign a contract with Frank to have existing plumbing reviewed. so I could get a CO from the county. Despite numerous calls no work was ever done. He promised a refund which also never came. He did lecture me over the phone telling me how I was wrong and I was the bad guy. If you hire him pay him AFTER he Kim is done.

Mr. Dorville was extremely knowledgeable in his line of work. I didn't have to go thru no headaches and his prices are great. I'll most definitely will be using New Society Drafting & Expediting again for all my permits.
