I wish I could give no stars...Please do not waste your money or time dealing with this shady company. I paid thousands and thousands of dollars to this company, May 2015 to replace my carpet and vinyl flooring in the bathrooms and laundry room. Ever since the installation, there has been huge bubbles in the vinyl flooring in the two large bathrooms and the laundry room.  Even if you step on the bubbles, they just move to another location in floor and are huge. That shows how this company's work is and they will lie to you and tell you" they have a lifetime warranty on installation and products". Yea complete load of b.s, I called this company a month after installation to let them know about bubbles to get fixed and general manager Tony in Virginia told me to wait a couple more months to let adhesive stick to sub floor to let bubbles go away on there own. I did that and played a game of phone tag with him and his incompetent employees for a few months and finally a year later, Oscar came out to look at floor after being schedule 2 times before and changing plans around so I could be home and having them not even show up or call until I called them. I then call Tony who seemed so shocked and said deal only with him if I have any problem, ok if you say so. .  I told him what Oscar said that since its 2 layers of vinyl flooring, its best to completely remove flooring and the sub floor which is the thin piece of wood underneath. Oscar also said the way they will try to fix this is put little tiny holes in the flooring to get holes out. Sounds completely cheap to me and a way to fix this the least expensive way for the, no matter what it looks like. I told Tony the general manager, I wanted it removed and done the right way since I paid so much and he told me he wasn't at office and to call him over weekend and he will have my file and we will talk cost for me. I was super busy and didn't get a chance to call that weekend, do you think he would ever call me?, no way. <br> Another couple of weeks went by of him not answering my call and him calling me late when im busy at work. Finally got a hold of him and he totally "forgot" everything we talked about or the fact that Oscar came out once to looked at it. He didn't even tell me about the option of replacing it the right way which is replacing the vinyl flooring. No he said we will do the industry standard way of fixing this which is poke holes in it, when I told him I didnt want a bunch of holes in my flooring, he said i wont see them. Sounds like a cheap way to me but he said if im not satisfied with it we will go another route but Oscar is his best installer so I said fine. I scheduled for Thursday May 5, 2016, and they would call me the night before to tell me a time I should expect Oscar to come. No calls the night before and I changed an already scheduled  appointment and no one showed up or called me still to this day, a week later! So months of phone tag with them and 3 scheduled days where I was told this will get fixed, NO ONE showed up or called me. Great company huh? Oh and carpets are fine for the most part but we do feel some bumps when we walk and you can see lines of where they bring the different pieces of carpets together such as from room to hall way which your not suppose to see at all. I definitely regret choosing Next day carpet and flooring to do this job and feel like I wasted a lot of money!!! <br> <br>Please choose another company for your flooring and carpet need. This company will do everything right to get your money and have them install your carpet or floor. If there is any problems which there will be after installation,  you will be going through the same problems I am. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT USE NEXT DAY CARPET AND FLOORING. I AM DONE DEALING WITH TONY THE SO CALLED "GENERAL MANAGER" IN WOODBRIDGE, VIRGINIA AND NOW HAVE TO FIND OUT WHO IS IN CHARGE OF HIM OR OWNER.

This went horrible! First the owner Tony could not keep the set appointment.  He called and told me the work van had broke down and that it was supposed to rain so they would have to postpone.  When I told him that I didn't know when we could set another appointment because of our busy schedule, he then proceeds to tell me they would come to pull my old flooring up and be back that Monday to put the new floor down.  The guys that came to my house was very nice and finished pulling the floors up quickly. He then said he was trying to reach the owner because they could possibly put the new flooring down but the owner would not answer his phone.  That Monday the owner called and said they would have to schedule the flooring for a few days later on that Thursday.  I then proceeded to tell him that it would have to be in the evening because we would not be home.  He tells me to let his guys in my home while we are at work.  I explained to him that I would not let strangers in my home while no one is at home and it specifically says that in his contract that an adult has to be home.  He told me that it was there contract and they could change the rules.  Then he tells me that they would come in the evening about 6pm.  That day at 6pm nobody showed up and then I had to call him to find out what was going on and he tells me that his guys are stuck at someones house and were running late.  I tell him that it is now 9pm and we have to work the next morning, and then he asked if they could come the next day.  The next day comes and he tells me that he is trying to find some guys to come to my house.  A lady and a gentleman show up to my house at 9:30pm, and I explain to the owner that it is very late and it would cause a disturbance to my neighbors since I live in a town home.  He tells me there would not be too much banging since the old floor was already up, that was a mistake, there was banging all night and they did not finish until 2:30am and my family had to go to work and school that morning.  When they finished the baseboards were horrible and banged up and I called Tony later that day to find out why they had charged my card for the final payment and the job was not complete.  A few days later he has a guy come out to fix the baseboards and they were nice, but I was still disturbed as to why they had charged my card without contacting me to make sure I was satisfied.  A few days after that I noticed that there was water coming up from underneath my floor and I called the owner.  He tells me to stay off my floors that day and it was probably the glue.  A few days later it was getting even worse and I noticed it was the water behind my refrigerator leaking that was causing the damage.  The guys had jammed my refrigerator too far back and had broken the main water socket connection to my refrigerator.  I called Tony and told him the issue and that I had to shut my water off but they are going to have to come fix the floor because it was starting to shift and come up.  He tells me to contact his service employee to schedule a time that following Monday.  That Monday I contacted his service employee and he tells me he would get with the repair guy and find out the best time for him to come out and he would call me the next day.  A few days go by and I don't hear anything.  I called the office and they wouldn't answer my calls.  I sent Tony a text message explaining that I am sick and tired of having to contact them and it was bad customer service.  I explained that if my floor was not completed, I would have someone else do it and send them the bill.  He sends a text message back a few days later saying that he is in a bad service area and would call me later.  This was a week ago and I have still not heard anything back.  Do not go with this company!  You will never get your job completed and if it does, there would be so many problems.  I wish I had read his reviews before I went with him. This has been going on for an entire month since my old floor was first pulled up.  I have never had this many issues with a company!

The carpet is bumpy and uneven.  They left a huge mess - carpet cuttings and threads all over our driveway, which blew into our yard and is impossible to clean up, cigarette butts, etc..  They left multiple razor blades (discards from exacto knives) scattered on our driveway, and we have young children so this is especially scary.  We also paid extra to get extra cushioning and I can feel the cement through the carpet.   I called the manager to let him know and he never returned my call.   <br /> The only positive thing about the experience was the salesman who was very helpful. <br /> Please don't use the excuse that this review is for a different company. I doublechecked the phone number we had, and the website and this is the correct company.  <br /> <br />

I used Next Day Carpet five years ago to install carpet and laminate flooring in my finished basement.  When I had to replace the flooring due to water damage, I called Tony again.  He was very responsive and although the carpet I had was no longer available, he found a perfect replacement.  The carpet installation was done very quickly and looks beautiful.  I changed from wood laminate to vinyl plank in the gym area and bathroom.  Although there were some issues with the installation, I was confident that Tony would take care of them, and he did. The vinyl plank floor is installed, and it, too, looks beautiful. Tony is a pleasure to work with, and I would not hesitate to call him again.

Ordering process was easy and fast with in-home sales rep. <br /> The service men were supposed to call an hour before arrival so I could be sure to be home.  No phone call, but I happened to be home. Basement and basement "wall-to-wall" stairs were installed without a hitch. <br /> The "carpet runner" on the stairs in my front foyer going from the first to second floor was installed in a crooked manner, and with a sloppy finish at top and bottom. <br /> I immediately pointed out the problem. The carpet had been installed with a "fold under" method.  We decided a bound edge would be better.  They said they would come back and fix it and speak to the boss. I also spoke to the boss.  It was the end of the day, and the guys left my house so fast they practically ran to their truck.  <br /> New carpet had to be bound on the edges, so it took a couple days. Installer asked if I would pay for the binding.  I said no- they were the carpet sellers/ installers and should have known to bind it when it was sold to me. We rescheduled for Monday, August 26 between 9 and 12.  I waited at home and they never showed up so I called the installation supervisor just before noon.  He said he would look into it.  He called back and said the truck was broken down and could they come Wednesday instead. I am waiting to see if they actually show up on Wednesday. <br /> I have had to make several calls to check on status and reschedule installation.  I feel like THEY should have called ME instead. <br /> I will never again use or recommend this company.  Poor communications with customer.. <br /> <br /> <br />

Next Day Carpet and Flooring provided excellent service, including carpet selection, installation and price.  We were looking for a good value and Next Day provided us with a very good product at a very competitive price. As their name implies, the carpet was installed on the next business day. The installation was on time and most efficient. The installer was skilled and effective. a very hard worker. e were very pleased without Next Day Carpet experience and will use them again. We recommend you consider this fine company when you are in the market for carpeting.
