Nick's Sliding Glass Door Maintenance

He was great. The work was done at my elderly mother's house and he was on time, professional and patient. We were afraid we would have to relace both doors but he explained how upgrading the locks, handles and rollers would solve our problems. He was right! My mom and I were both very pleased and would use him again and tell our friends about him. <br />

Nick did a great job. Was clean, efficient and got my horrible doors working great! Was clean and put new handles on the door that are much easier to use! Gave a 3 year warranty too! <br />

Went very well.  Door rollers were rusted badly. Nick was able to replace them easily.  Doors slide like a dream now.  One I hadn't used in years.  Now I have easy access to my patio.  Nick was quick, but through.  Everything was completed in about 2 hours.  I would highly recommend Nick's for this service. <br />

Nick was prompt and courteous. His craftsmanship was apparent by the way he handled his tools and by the results of his labor. I am very happy with the repairs to my doors. I have already recommended him to friends. <br />

On the initial phone converstion, Nick quoted me a price of $145 for the replacement of one door and if I needed another door replacement it would be $135.  In addition, if I needed track replacement or door handle there would be additonal cost. <br /> Nick showed up puntual and was VERY professional and considerate  (obviously he's not from Florida or New York).  He told me NOT to do the 2nd door and NOT to replace the track.  WOW, who does that ? <br /> He was deliberate, meticulous, and charged me the $145 that was initially  quoted ! <br /> Door works great, I'm good to go...... <br />

Nick showed up a little later than our appontment but called to let me know he was going to be late. He did the work quickly and explained what he was doing and why. We were very satisfied with his work and will call again when needed. <br />

I just moved in to a home that had a kitchen sliding glass door that is very heavy and nearly impossible to open. I found Nick here on Angie's List. Nick was very courteous and professional when I initially contacted him for a quote. He came to the house on time and went right to work explaining the root causes of our sliding door not opening properly. He then explained how he was going to remedy the problem by replacing the rollers. I then left him alone to do his work. I checked back a few times to see if he needed anything and I couldn't help but notice how clean and neat he maintained the work area of our house. When he was finished he asked me to check his work and to open and close the door. I was absolutely amazed to be able to now open and close the door with my pinkie finger. The door opened as though it were gliding on soft butter. I had previously mentioned to Nick that taking the garbage out through that door was always a major ordeal. Needless to say, Nick had a big smile on his face when he saw how happy I was with the job he did. My wife came home a little while later and was very happy to be able to go out that door without calling me to open it for her. I really appreciated his work ethic and plan on having him come again to repair the other four sliding glass doors throughout the house. Thank you, Nick! You did an excellent job! Nick arrived within the window we had discussed and was friendly and nice. I was having some difficulties and complications with my schedule and he said he was more than happy to come back. He went to another job nearby and came back later to replace the rollers. I completely appreciated him accommodating me and was grateful. He took care of the sliding glass door and it glides like new. Also, he was much better priced than all the other competitors.  <br /> I highly recommend his service. <br /> <br />

He came at 10 am and was done by 10:30.  Our slider barely opened and now it glides like it is floating on air.  He did an amazing job!  Quick, prompt and well done!! <br />

I was hardly able to open my sliding door from my family room.  Having just gotten a new puppy, I needed to open this door many times a day.  I called Nick and he came out the next day, replaced the rollers, and now I can open my door so easily.  If fact, I have to be careful not to slide it too hard so it doesn't bang into the frame - it is sooo smooth!  I'm very happy that I had Nick fix my sliding door.   <br />
