Night Owl Painting

I do not recommend them. Hired John with this company to build a deck after reading all of the great reviews on here. John presented himself as having done several decks and even going so far as to state they were changing the name of the company to Nightowl Painting and Construction John quoted me a two-week completion time and asked for a 30% downpayment for materials to get started, which was paid. He sent a group of guys out the first day to put posts in the ground and then no one came back for the next 9 days. During that time, when I could actually get in touch with someone, I was told multiple times they would be out to work and then they would never show up. John then admitted that he had not even actually ordered the materials until about 9 days into the project (So why did they keep telling me they were coming out to my house and wasting my time? And it turned out to be only a partial order and incorrect materials for the job). At that point, I had had my time wasted and had been lied to repeatedly. I told John I wanted to cancel the contract as he had failed to deliver on his side and requested my deposit of $8190 back. He then told me he did not have my money and could not get me a refund (Only spent about $700 on materials, so I do not know where the rest of it went). I tried contacting him several more times to resolve this issue amicably and John has, at this point, ghosted me. I do not know what changed or what happened for this experience to be so dramatically different from the rest of the reviews, but I cannot recommend this company. If you value your project, time, and money, go find a real contractor who knows what they are doing.

Tonight Owl Painting is very prompt and does very good. And they are very affordable.

They work fast and the quality is great

They did an awesome job! Arrived early every day set to work right away worked all day long even in the rain sometimes. When the job is finished they made a point to go around and clean everything up and put stuff back where it was previously.

In addition to painting kitchen walls, our ceilings were also included as well as a studio space and full bathroom. John was extremely flexible to split the project into two and worked with us on the timing. In addition to painting they did a great job with filling holes in the drywall and getting the walls prepared to be painted. After our construction was completed, John came back to do touch up paint to complete the project. When John says he would be here at a certain time, he was 10 minutes early and fully committed to doing a great job.

John was reliable, extremely knowledgeable and has great craftsmanship. He always showed up on time and completed the job earlier than expected. Will definitely hire again.

Cant say enough good things about Night Owl Painting and John, the owner. Night Owl saved my project by finishing it the RIGHT way. John and team were always on time and have meticulous attention to detail. The quality of the work (drywall repair, skimming and painting) exceeded my expectations! Night Owl is now my go-to for any and all future projects and I highly recommend them for yours. You will not be disappointed!
