Daniel Mares did a fantastic job repairing two areas of drywall that had been cut into for plumbing and electrical work. The original surface had a heavy knock down texture and I was worried that any repair done would be obvious because of the differences in texture. Daniel not only repaired the drywall, but he matched the texture PERFECTLY--you cannot tell any hole had existed to begin with.
Daniel came to give us a free estimate a couple of days after we contacted him, and was able to begin work the following day. He covered the work areas, surrounding areas and floor completely with plastic and paper, as well as our front porch and wore disposable booties to keep our floors clean. He came completely prepared with everything needed and was done within a couple of hours, cleaning up everything and leaving no trace that he was ever there, except for the perfect repair.
We will be using No Limit Painting/Daniel Mares for a future project removing wallpaper, repairing drywall, texturing and painting our master bathroom and secondary bath. We were very pleased with the end results and highly recommend this company to others.
I was very impressed with Daniel. I called on a Tuesday and was desperate to get the repair done as soon as possible because our house is For Sale. He said he could probably get to it over the weekend but he actually came on Friday. This made me very happy. He was a little late but called to tell me he was on his way so that was nice. (only 30-40 min) When he got here, he got straight to work and I was surprised when he laid plastic on my carpet from the closet all the way thru the room and out the door for the cord to his compressor. I really appreciated the care he took with my room. He did the repair on the drywall in the ceiling and it looks like brand new. No one would ever be able to tell there was an issue. I painted it myself so he didn't need to do that, but all in all from start to finish he was here about an hour and 45 minutes. I think he was very polite, very professional and did very good work. I would definitely use him again!!
An accident in the attic resulted in a hole being punched through the drywall in our ceiling. When I contacted the provider, he came out in less than 24 hours to survey the damage and give me an estimate. He was prompt, professional, and reasonable. We scheduled with him to complete the work a week later. The day that he was supposed to arrive, he contacted me to say that he had injured his back and wasn't able to complete the work that day. However, he was exceedingly apologetic and offered me a discount for the inconvenience. We rescheduled for three days later and he showed up and completed the work. His work was great and he kept things very clean. Highly recommend and will use again.

Daniel and his helper Michael arrived promptly and got right to work. They were very careful to prep the surfaces thoroughly and did an excellent job of keeping any mess from any other area of the house - not easy when working with crumbling drywall (there had been termite damage). The paint he provided was a perfect match to the other walls. In the garage, he repaired damage from cracks and water leak stains, and prepped and painted some other areas we hadn't originally discussed.

We will have no hesitation to use his services for any future painting/drywall projects, which in a 40 year old house are likely to come up! I felt his pricing was fair too.

The precision in which Daniel and his helper completed the job went well beyond my expectation. The time he put into prepping the areas made for an excellent results. I chose two different colors for the walls and the trim and one would think he painted with exacto blade. He cleaned up thoroughly and our communication throughout the job was excellent. I am pleased.
Daniel came to our rescue. I need this work to end and the dust gone. He came to see the mess we were in and said he would fit us in the the weekend if we didn't mind. No way did we mind! He did an excellent job and kept me informed of what he was doing. I totally trusted his professionalism. I wasn't the easiest to work with because I needed several walls sanded smooth so that I could stencil latter. He did an excellent job. My husband also was very impressed with his work. Daniel takes great pride in his work and makes sure that his workers do a good job as well. We were very happy with the job he did for us. We will recommend him to others.

Daniel plus his crew of three arrived promptly each day and worked solid through each day from 7:45 until 5:30 taking about 30-45 min. for lunch. The crew were never standing around waiting for instructions--they knew their jobs and were always busy getting it done. Because of this what could have taken about 5 days only took 3 and a half days! Quality of the work was excellent. Maybe more important than the diligence and quality of work was the effort and care that was taken to prep and then clean my house and furnishing both before and after the work was complete. (Remember that texture removal and application is very messy and leaves a powdery dust on nearly everything.) They took such care that my home looked like a scene from "Dexter"(from Netflix) with every room and object covered in plastic.
Yes this was an excellent experience. As far as price--I received another quote from an Angie's List (top ten) provider that was nearly twice as much--FYI.
went very well. Daniel came for the estimate in time, showed up on time for the actual work and completed work on time. The quality of his work seemed very good and he was always there making sure everything is done like it should be. He was very detail oriented and took special care of the caulking, painting etc. he is pleasant to talk to and easy to deal with. I vouch for his professionalism.

Daniel was called in after I was very unsatisfied with the work of a previous contractor. He repainted all the walls and painted all the trim and doors. He made necessary carpentry repairs throughout. He was very thorough and professional during the entire project. He pointed out things that needed to be done that I had missed. His work is very high quality and he seems to care about the quality of his work. He did some things that were not in the original contract without additional charges. I would definitely use him again or recommend him to friends. Work was done in 2013.
We had Daniel come over for a quote on removing popcorn ceiling and adding texture and paint in roughly a 1000 sq ft area. We got 2 quotes and Daniels quote was lower than one of the nationwide big companies. He gave us great ideas. He repaired sheet rock allowing me to install modern lighting in the kitchen. He was very respectful of our time and communicated well during the whole process. He did all of the work himself and was very meticulous for detail. After the project was completed he did a great job with cleaning up. He finished one day earlier then expected. Daniel does a great job at a fair price. We will use him in the future and recommend him to others.

Called Daniel, owner of "No Limit Painting" on a Saturday morning at 9 am. He answered his phone quickly and agreed to come to my home and provide a free estimate. I was a little hesitant at first to have a painting company repair drywall, but other reviewers reported he did good work, so I decided to request a bid. Bottom line: he did a fantastic job and I'm very happy I hired him.
Daniel and a helper arrived less than 3 hours after I first talked with him. I wanted to hang two ceiling fans where I originally had light fixtures, but the old drywall was weak and needed replacement. For $150, Daniel removed two sections of drywall, floated in patches, mudded the boxes, double-taped the joints and used quick-dry compound that set in 30 minutes. He was masterful with the mud, so the result was like new. After he sanded, I primed, painted and textured the repairs. Good as new!
I was so satisfied with his work I asked for an estimate to refurbish my garage drywall. His estimate was fair and reasonable. If I decide to do have this work done, I will certainly hire Daniel to do it.
Very happy with this service provider. I recommend him without reservations.
They were great. We were kind of in a rushed time frame moving between houses and they came out and took care of a very big project for us. They had an affordable price. He worked long hours to get the time and made sure it was done right. We were happy. He was willing to come back out and fix anything after we settled in. He said if we had any problems that I should call him up and he would come back out and take care of it. His price seemed competitive based on the others that I called so I thought he was great there.

The work went very well. First, I obtained 3 bids. Daniel Mares was the first to come out to give an estimate. I thought he would do a good job due to the fact that he did not seem to be in a rush and he listened to me very carefully. He had a few suggestions as the estimate progressed. He is polite and quiet.

Daniel did all the work by himself. He is very careful and deliberate and very neat. He is a very pleasant person to work with. I think the job went very well and I am very pleased. He cleaned up carefully.
I bought all the paint, so the estimate was for his labor, but he used lots of his own supplies (tape, drywall mud, plastic, etc.).
I would definitely hire him again.
We have used Daniel on three different occasions over the past four months during the remodel of our house. The first time out, we wanted to have our 2-story entryway and stairwell painted before the installation of hardwood floors. He did this in 1 1/2 days and the price was right ($250). The second time out, we had Daniel paint approx 1800 sf of interior rooms and most of the trim in our home, including quarter round that had been put in as part of our new wood flooring. Daniel also installed crown molding in our downstairs. All of this was around $2000. The third time around, Daniel painted our master bathroom that had just been remodeled (Ceiling, walls, and cabinets) and a bedroom that had been inaccessible before ($500).
Let me start by saying that Daniel is an awesome painter...he is truly an artist with the brush who has a very steady hand and great attention to detail. With that comes a commitment to do the job right. Sometimes that means your start date gets delayed, because he is fulfilling his commitments to another customer and sometimes the job takes longer than he thought. And sometimes you have to follow up on your own because he is very focused on his current customer. I came to appreciate that about Daniel. With that said, if you don't have flexibility in your schedule you may get frustrated, as dates did move around quite a bit on both the second and third jobs. I understood the context of why so didn't let it bother me. You also may need to do your own follow up. I would just call regularly to get an update from him if I didn't hear from him. Daniel's demeanor is pretty passive, so I think some people get scared off from using him because they are afraid he doesn't care. Once you get to know him though, you will find he actually cares about the quality of his work more than just about any other contractor I have ever used. I saw several instances where he went above and beyond to make the job look great, even though it wasn't something I had specifically called out. For example, after our wood floors were installed Daniel noticed that the door to our water softener closet had a silver threshold that stuck out. He spray painted it a color similar to the wood and it made a big difference in appearance. That is the attention to fine details that you get from Daniel. For all the trimwork, he took the time to sand and caulk everything, cleaning all the dust before painting. Alot of folks just slap the paint on and call it done - Daniel does things the right way.
I highly recommend Daniel's work.

After not being able to reach Daniel, I met and hired another painter who was going to start the work on Monday (4/8). I bought more paint and delivered it to the site and met the carpet cleaning company Friday (4/5) morning. I left the place open for the carpet to dry and when I went back to close and lock up after 8PM, Daniel was there with his helper painting!!!! They were about 50% complete. He said he couldn't call me because his cell phone was broken and he didn't have my phone number. He said he didn't paint the space when he said he would because there was not enough paint. So in my overall experience - I don't think Daniel practices good judgement to keep his client's phone numbers ONLY on his cell phone, and did not make any real attempt to get in touch with me to communicate what was going on. He could have used someone else's phone, and he could have looked up my phone number. Otherwise he is a good painter and I appreciate the quality of his work.
