Terribly. Bob, the owner of NEOR, is impossible to get a hold of, and the new roof his company installed on my home started leaking within one year of replacement. The first time I had him come look at the possible leak, he assured me it wasn't leaking, and I believed him. Over the next few months, it became clear the roof was indeed leaking, and trying to get him to come back was an awful experience. I finally was able to get him to send his crew out, and they ended up having to come on 4 separate occasions before they finally fixed the leaking issue. At this point, I was in the process of selling the home, and he assured me the lifetime warranty transferred with the title of the house to the new owners. Now, the new owners are threatening to sue me because the roof is leaking again and they can't get Bob to return any of their calls. Bob is completely dishonest and doesn't care about the quality of his work. He should not be recommended on Angie's list at all. Do not hire this company.

We had this company re-side our entire house with vinyl siding about a year and a half ago. Six months after that was complete, my wife had a mishap with the grill and accidentally melted two pieces of siding, deforming them but leaving them mostly intact. I contacted the company owner, Bob, about getting it repaired. After emailing him five times about it, he finally responded and said they would be out in a couple of weeks to to the repair. They never showed. I emailed him several more times, and again he promised they would be out in a week or so to do the repair. They never showed. Bob then quit responding to my emails for a couple of months until I told him I would be having another company do the repair work nor would I be recommending his company to friends or family. Bob said he would personally be out that week to do the repair, and he never showed. Yet again, he quit responding to my emails. This went on for several weeks until finally I asked Bob to just give me the manufacturer info for the siding so I can buy it myself and do the repair on my own. Again, Bob said he would be out that week to do the repair and no surprise, he never showed. Bob then went radio silent and quit responding to any attempt to contact him. My first email to him about the repair was a year ago, and he still has yet to get the repair done, and he has not responded to any email since November. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone.

Recently, we had repairs to the original roofing installed by Northeast Ohio Renovations last summer. We got it fixed & repaired by another company. I gave Bob Hegedish from Northeast Ohio Renovations a chance to reimburse me for the cost of the repairs, but he does not answer correspondence anymore. He has walked away from any warranty on this roof. It was a nightmare. I am attaching my review to save others from experiencing the same headaches I had experienced with Bob. The lead roofer even called it a 'nightmare job'. I want to warn everyone about using Northeast Ohio Renovations. The owner – Bob Hegedish – is completely unreliable and will tell you anything to appease you when problems arise. I signed a contract with him on April 2 and the work did not start until July 2. He said he had the most meticulous crew around and promised a beautiful job. I got a crew that was the worst ever – hardly knew how to put on a roof. The local building inspector actually had them redo some incorrectly done work! The roof was not completed until the very end of August – 2 months – due to all the problems. Here are some highlights of the problems (it would take too much room to highlight all of them): 1 The crew did not tarp the house during the tear off and threw the shingles off the roof, hitting my siding and getting tar all over it. They then took the finish off my aluminum siding with a cleaning solvent trying to get the tar off when I complained. I am still waiting on a painter to take care of painting the siding they damaged. 2 During the actual roofing process, the crew slammed the shingles down on the roof causing my cathedral ceiling to have nail pops. Glasses fell over in the cupboards and sinks. I asked them at least 15 times not to slam the shingles down, but they continued to do it. 3 They put the shingles on crooked on the front of the roof. When I pointed it out, they had no desire to fix it. A second crew had to come out for the re-roof of that section. 4 It took two ‘repairs’ after the initial installation to secure the ridge vents from coming off. Again, a second crew had to do this. 5 The roof flashing on the garage is leaking and water is streaming down my siding when it rains. Bob did/does not return emails or calls about a solution to this problem, so I had to hire another roofer to fix the improper installation. 6 Bob refuses to respond to my emails or calls about the repair, and apparently is not going to honor his ‘lifetime warranty’. He has not reimbursed me for the other roofer’s work. Since he ignored my requests to perform the work, and has not reimbursed me, he appears to not stand behind his work. Bob walked away from the job and his ‘lifetime warranty guarantee’ after he was paid for the job. I paid him because I thought he would honor his word if problems arose. Too bad I was wrong.

Bob, the owner of the company is very knowledge, and very professional. He explains all the details very clearly, and very patiently, that makes me feel he is not a business man, but one of my relatives. His crew members are also very knowledge and professional. They keep everything well organized, and neat. They choose the most appropriate size of the materials and put them in the most appropriate place, make the siding looks nice, beautiful, very happy with that. In addition, the price is very fair. I would like to recommend this company to anyone who wants to do the siding for their house.

With tremendous confidence and enthusiasm, I unequivocally recommend Northeast Ohio Renovations as a trusted professional contractor. I recently purchased a home that needed extensive repair work, and as part of the purchase agreement, I assumed responsibility for all outstanding building code violations. I was granted 90 days to complete the work, under threat of serious legal repercussions. After meeting with eight distinct contractors and reviewing their proposals, I elected to commission Mr. Bob Hegedish’s firm, Northeast Ohio Renovations, for a new roof and vinyl window replacement. From the very onset, Bob presented the most comprehensive, competitive, and cost-effective proposal of the bunch, and I could tell right away that I was in capable hands. It’s no secret that the home renovation space is often teeming with scheisters and snake oil salesmen, but Bob is one of the good guys. Not only did Bob come through on time and under budget, the final work was absolutely exquisite. Bob and his team really came through when I needed them, and when it mattered most. Northeast Ohio Renovations gets stellar reviews for good reason. I have already recommended them to personal friends and family members, because I know they will be thrilled with the deliverables. Moreover, I will contract them again for future work without hesitation. Do yourself a favor and consider Bob for your next renovation project. I have little doubt that he will do everything in his power to earn your trust and delight you with impeccable results.

Work was done quickly and was both excellent and affordable. I was in the process of selling the house and needed to ensure the garage and front gutter were fixed quickly but also well done. Bob and team was responsive and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend this team!

In a word, PERFECT! Bob listened to and answered all of my questions and concearns. He explained exactly how the work would be done and what type of materials he would be using. Although his was not the lowest bid, he gave me confidence that the job would be done right. The crew showed up on time and worked continually, only stopping for lunch. The team forman Patrick was polite and very professional. He was also easy to talk to and listed to any requests that I had. They were very neat and cleaned the area every day. When the job was complete, the house looked like new and was worth every penny spent. I highly recommend Northeast Ohio Renovations.

Here's the good, the bad and the ugly. Bob spent a lot of time answering my questions and was very thorough on the initial consultation. Pricing was comprable to three other estimates I received during that time but wasn't the lowest. Here's the good: We decided to go with a pre-selected shingle that wasn't in stock with Bob's suppliers but he did find a local supplier that had just enough on hand at the last minute. He passed along only the small upcharge for the more expensive shingle. Installation quality seems descent. Shingle overhang is nice and even and visually looks very neat. Bob said he would give us extra winterguard rapping on the back edge of roof for no extra cost due to the amount of soffit overhang. I was especially impressed when his team supervisor actually fixed a problem caused by the previous roofer repair and did not charge me for it. The bad: 1. After a long wait time to begin work I seem to keep getting longer, there was another two-week start delayed due to the supervisor having problems with his truck. During this time the weather turning cold and icy. 2. I asked Bob if he would supervise the job but he said he is not on the job sites but that I can trust his team supervisor who has been with him for over 20 years. So I did. When I came home from work one day the waste dumpster was parked right in front of my garage doors. Someone assumed that I would not need to get in and out of the garage. That was a very bad assumption because my wife is a fall risk and needs to park inside the garage. This was in December and the driveway was becoming icy. The dumpster was moved promptly to the proper spot but no one contacted me to ask me where I wanted it located in the first place. 3. During installation Bob and I walked around to look at the progress and I noticed the roof paper was torn on a corner of the garage. He said his team would make it right before shingling over it. The Ugly. On the final walk-through Bob told me that a deck railing post cap was damaged from his team's work. This was not a big deal and the post cap was only $10. But he did not have the damaged cap nor was it found anywhere. I think his team threw it away. More likely this was a diversion for much more damaged railing that I did not find until the spring because the snow was falling during the final walk through. See the attached pictures. There are scratches, scuff marks, and tar marks on three six foot spans of railing that were not there before. My neck is relatively new. The scratches and scuff marks on the railing match the angle at which they threw off old pieces of shingle that hit the railing. I sent the pictures to Bob along with the itemized replacement cost of all the railing pieces. Total was $174. This was the first week in April when the snow and ice was finally all gone and I was out on the deck and noticed it. To date Bob has not responded. Just be aware of what you're getting into with this contractor and if you're willing to risk the bad and the ugly for the good. I will not recommend Northeast Ohio Renovations to any of my friends or relatives. That's a big price to pay for $174.

My wife and I are licensed architects and very particular and demanding of our contractors. Bob explained the technology of his products and took the time to listen and understand the job. He was flexible and able to use the particular shingle we wanted which wasn't his preferred brand. We also replaced a flat roofed porch and, on the week of the job, we asked that he install a roll roofing material that closely matched the roof shingles' color. He quickly located that particular material which was not at his usual supplier. Most contractors would not have catered to their clients as he did. His workers showed up when they said and were neat and courteous. The flat roof took much longer than expected due to the difficulty of removing the railing, but they didn't charge more. The roofs look great and we are glad to have chosen Northeast Ohio Renovations.

Bob took the time to come to our home and review everything with us and give us options on what needed to be done. There were no high-pressure sale techniques, just multiple options and his professional recommendation. Bob's team was top-notch. They were on time and very focused on ensuring the job was done right. They even performed a great cleanup each day they were here, which was a nice surprise. Our roof looks great and we know it's also secure now after the storm.

This team did a great job. A lot of attention to detail as a few additional issues came up through the job (house issues) and the team addressed everything exceptionally! The work team was very courteous and very professional- a pleasure to deal with each day! Very kind and respectful to my mom and my family! They were very neat- cleaning up each day! There were three individual projects and each team came in one after the other without issues! All debris and scrap was removed as soon as the job was complete. I never take the time to write reviews but for this team I wanted to! I would recommend them over and over again!!

I hired Northeast Ohio Renovations to vinyl side my house in the summer of 2016. Their price was fair and the quality of the work was good. Only problems I had with them was they dropped off the materials for the job around 2 or 3 weeks before they started to work. So all those large boxes were in the way until they started the job. After they finished the job they took about 2 to 3 weeks to pick up the material they left at my house. So that material was in the way for some time also. This September, 2018, some of the siding was damaged when a large tree branch came down on all the wires going into my house and pulled the wires away from the house. A picture of the damage is attached. I called Northeast to see if they would come and repair the damage. Bob finally got back to me 2 weeks later after I left numerous phone messages. A few week after that he came and looked at the damage. He said he could repair it and would get back to me when he could do it. After not hearing from him for 6 weeks I called him a few times and left messages for him to get back to me with a date to do the work. I never heard back from him. One of the questions I asked the companies I interviewed for the siding job was "Will you be available in the future to do repairs if they are needed?". He answered they were available and did repair work on their jobs. Unfortunately for me this turns out not to be true. In summary, Northeast Ohio Renovations did good work at a fair price but does not provide after the job support.

All service was timely & excellent! Workers showed up when promised & began work immediately...there was no down time! They were polite, organized, hard workers, caring for our property covering landscape and deck with drop cloths & cleaning up everyday. The first scheduled day turned out to be rainy, but the crew leader & his son showed up to get things organized and ready for the next day. As we needed a tear-off, a dumpster on wheels was provided as our drive way is quite new & they did not want a dumpster without wheels to possibly damage our drive--this was arranged ahead of time by their on-line picture review of our property! Impressive! Their knowledge and skill were great & the crew leader was informing us every step of the way - ie-when plywood had to be replaced in one area. They carefully removed & replaced the gutter guards. The workers were aware of appearance and made sure everything was aesthetically pleasing. The job was well done and we are very pleased. Also, Bob Hegedish worked patiently with us to pick out the perfect roof color. Totally recommend this company! Pricing was best of competition!

The project went very well. The contractor knew his business quite well and showed an appreciation for the home owner's needs. Kitchen, bathroom, side porches, door replacement and complete roofing was accomplished in a very satisfactory manner. Several years later shingles from the roofing slipped. I called Northeast and they sent a roofer to repair in a timely manner.

I love Northeast Ohio Renovations! We had a big storm and I called multiple contractors to help with the damage. Unfortunately, so was everyone else in my neighborhood. Most simply ignored my call, but NEO Renovations called back within a reasonable time to set up a consultation. My experience was positive from the start. Bob, the owner, was very thorough and knowledgeable with the work that needed to be completed and the homeowner's insurance claim process. Bob was honest about my needs and didn't try to upsell anything like the other companies I had quoting the projects. After signing the contract, Bob was patient as I agonzied over color and material choices and kept in communication about scheduling and other needs. The result was beautiful. My house looked totally transformed and the craftsmanship was great (and I'm pretty OCD!). I absolutely recommend this company.
