We couldn’t be happier with the work that Jeff and his team did in our home! The craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail really shows in every part of the project. From the custom built-ins around the fireplace to the perfectly finished trim and panel molding, everything looks perfect! The fireplace wall has completely transformed our living space.I have included before and after pics to show the beautiful transformation. The wainscoting in our dining room area also looks perfect, adding character and depth to what was previously a plain wall. Beyond the quality of the work, the entire experience was smooth and professional. Jeff and his team are very reliable and clearly take pride in what they do. They paid close attention to our vision while also offering helpful suggestions along the way. If you’re looking for someone who delivers high-end results with precision and care, I highly recommend them. We would absolutely work with them again!

I have had Jeff and his guys renovate my ranch house in Melville. He has done 2 bathrooms, my basement and my kitchen. He has always been reliable and done great work. The house looks like new. He quickly corrects any problems and is always in touch. He and his guys are friendly and neat. His estimates are reasonable. I strongly recommend Northgate Home Improvement.

This was a fairly big job to completely remodel our unfinished 1000 sq foot basement. The job took about 5-6 weeks to finish. Jeff showed up every day with his small crew and did an amazing job. Jeff was easy to work with and delivered everything we asked for. We also had Jeff's team replace our den floor with a heated tile floor which came out amazing. In addition, they also resolved a complicated leak that required some detective work to determine where it was coming from and thy were able to find and resolve the issue. I first asked Jeff at Northgate to take out our old basement bathroom and build a new one 4 years ago. He did a great job for a reasonable price. He recently completed a total basement renovation and upstairs bathroom. Everything down to the studs. Again, did a wonderful job in about a month. He really deserves all the excellent reviews he has had. He always keeps you in touch and fixes any problems right away. We will be happy to have him do our kitchen soon. You will not find anyone better.

Jeff & Crew came and did an amazing job just as they did when we had our whole basement remodeled. We hired Northgate this year once again (they remodeled and added a new bathroom to our basement back in February 2023) to redo and expand our outdoor deck to almost 1,000 square feet. Jeff and crew did an amazing job and went above and beyond. I cannot recommend or say enough about them. Jeff not only does an amazing job but added even extras that were unexpected and helped fix things that were not part of his job. I will definitely be hiring them again once I can afford more renovations! Would recommend Northgate to anyone and everyone.

Jeff and his crew were amazing to work with! I have had some very bad experiences with previous contractors, and I never thought that I would have such a positive experience with a contractor. Jeff and his crew came in every day and performed their job - left end of the day everything clean and organized - not a mess. They went above and beyond and accommodated changes that I requested that were not part of original quote without adding to our cost. Jeff was courteous, helpful, on time, and worked on weekends as well to make sure job was done in given time frame. they even finished 2 weeks before they had estimated (was told 8 weeks, he finished in 6 weeks. I will definitely be hiring Northgate again in the future once I can afford to do more work to my house. I would 100% recommend Northgate to anyone looking for a contractor. His work is impeccable and it's the best. He's dependable, he's reliable, trustworthy, honest and very nice. If I could give him 10 stars, I would give him 10 stars. Jeff was the best contractor that I've ever used in 37 years that I've lived in my house.

All work was completed expertly and in a timely manner. I would definitely use Jeff again. He emailed his estimate promptly, scheduled the work, and stayed with the project until it was completed. He was quick to respond to questions and took care of everything. His crew was hard-working and courteous. Jeff was on the jobsite. He re-configured the layout of a 1/2 bath and expanded the bathroom with new framing and wall and door, added a shower and a stacking washer/dryer. New vinyl flooring and moldings, high hats, and painting in bathroom and family room. New vanity, fan, grab bars, towel racks in bathroom.

Jeff of Northgate Home Improvement, replaced our siding. I got 4 quotes for the job. Jeff was not the cheapest, but he was well below the highest quotes. He was also very responsive returning calls and emails promptly, stopping by wit samples and showing up when he said he would. He told us what schedule to expect honestly and accurately and his crew, Dany and Marvin, were hard-working and very professional. Great clean-up, too!

Jeff was amazing to work with. After calling him after finding him on Angie’s List, he came over that same night to spec out the project. We had our basement with one full bath renovated. He gave great suggestions for how to improve our overall design, such as adding a closet to prevent needing a very low soffit. His quote was comprehensive and timely. He and his team were on the job sometimes 6 or 7 days a week. The craftsmanship of the company’s work was wonderful. Jeff is extremely responsive and guided us through the process each step of the way. We look forward to using Northgate in the future. We are very happy with the results!

This is the second bathroom Northgate did for us. Jeff, the owner and his crew worked quickly and were very neat. Jeff was on site from start to finish and the bathroom came out beautiful!

Jeff and his team recently completed two projects for us. First, they completely remodeled our master bathroom. This was a two-week+ project where they first removed our old bathroom, right down to the studs, and then expertly rebuilt every component of our new bathroom, including replacing a 40 year old bathtub with a beautiful new tiled shower. We are thrilled with our new bath. The second project they completed was to completely remodel our garage---floor to ceiling--- with new sheetrock, electrical, insulation, and paint. Early during this project Jeff discovered several electrical code violations, that he and his team then spent over a day correcting. This was unanticipated and required more work, although Jeff did not increase his price for the project. Throughout both projects we found Jeff to be very easy to work with and responsive to any questions or suggestions that we had. His crew was always on-time and kept the job site neat---cleaning-up at the end of each day. We are planning on having Northgate remodel our second bathrooom and replace our front door in early spring and would highly recommend Jeff and his team for any and all home remodeling projects. We had Northgate renovate our basement this summer. They did a wonderful job and our experience has been a very positive one! Jeff and his crew were very responsive and sensitive to what I wanted the space to become. They checked in with me daily on the progress and on any adjustments that needed to be made. They kept the job site clean, showed up on time and stuck to the construction schedule agreed upon in the beginning. Not to mention Jeff helped me with some additional items not in his scope of work without charging us extra. It's been a great pleasure to have worked with Northgate to make our basement into a wonderful space for our family. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to renovate their home. We will definitely use Jeff again on our next projects.

Jeff did a great job on our complete basement bathroom remodel last December so we asked him to do a small job of installing a vanity. The job was done quickly and efficiently. The price was reasonable. Everything was cleaned up. I highly recommend Northgate Home Improvement and will gladly hire them in the future.

In February 2021, my husband and I hired Jeff and his crew for an interior renovation of our house. We were pretty worried since it was a big job and we had never worked with Jeff before (we hired him based on reviews). We picked out everything ourselves (fixtures, tiles, appliances, cabinets, etc…) and Jeff and his team handled the labor. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! Not only did they do a phenomenal job, they were very easy to work with. Jeff and his crew arrived each morning, Monday through Friday, and didn’t skip days randomly to work on other projects which is something that I really appreciated since I’ve heard horror stories from friends and family about contractors who left them hanging. Jeff was also flexible and accommodating when working with other vendors (flooring company, custom cabinet company, etc..), making sure the right puzzle pieces were in place before moving forward. In addition to the beautiful work they did (see photos attached), Jeff and his entire crew are kind and honest people. They treated us, and our house, with respect. Throughout the project, Jeff would make sure that we were happy with how things were progressing and he was transparent regarding costs and timelines. He is a very talented contractor, an excellent project manager and a wonderful human being.

First i need to say the customer service that Jeff and his team provided were amazing. I called Jeff to schedule a quote and he came out that day. Always amazing at returning calls. He Came up with a great floor plan and started very quickly. The work was also done beautifully down to the studs. The whole process was quick and easy. The team were very efficient and worked so hard to get us our dream basement for our family. Thank you soo much.

This was a great experience from start to finish. Jeff and his guys are not only timely and meticulous but also really genuine people who were really nice to have around. Jeff helped us figure out what we wanted and how it would work best. He is extremely easy to work with and his pricing was very fair. Our bathroom looks amazing.
