they cancelled an appointment, was difficult to get another appointment. I had to cancel an appointment, because they had not shown up by 5:00 pm one evening. Never got any work done, very disappointed with Angies list as well as Northside Property Mgmt.

It was bait and switch. Contractor suddenly said they will only do tub and shower repair, when the ad clearly said kitchen and bath, caulk and grout. The contractor was very dismissive and told me "we are booked through September " when I asked for an appointment. I am awaiting a refund of $79.00.

Communications were difficult; and the job was poorly done. They didn't dry the water that had seeped back behind the old caulk which caused the new caulk to crack and not set up right. Some of it just wiped away like tooth paste 2 days after the job was done. Their response to my complaint about it was unacceptable, taking no responsibility for the job being done incorrectly. The person I've communicated with said they would get back with me, but that's the last I've heard from them. Bad work, bad communication, bad follow up.

I purchased an Angie's List big deal from this provider for two hours of kitchen and bathroom caulking and grout restoration. The provider quickly contacted me after the purchase to find out what work I needed perform and to schedule. I explained in detail the showers condition and what I wanted done. I wanted all of the caulk that had mold behind it removed and replaced. The job was scheduled for the following week. Provider with one helper arrived about on time. He looked at the shower, asked me what color caulk I wanted and then left to purchase it. The helper stayed and removed the old caulk. An hour later provider informed me that they were finished. I went to look at the result. I immediately noticed that there was now a 11 inch scratch in one of the Onyx shower walls, deep enough to remove the color. I pointed this out to the provider. He offered no explanation or apology. He then left. Since then I have noticed a second scratch in the Onyx wall. Additionally, I have noticed that some of the old caulk with the mold behind it is still there. Provider never removed and replaced it as I requested. Furthermore, some of the caulk that he did replace has holes or gaps in it, this will eventually allow water to get behind the wall panels into the drywall. The provider did not do a complete job and the work he did do is of poor quality and not professional. I assume that the damage he did to my wall was an accident but he will not even acknowledge it. His response to my complaint about the caulking that he did is simply that no one else has ever complaint.

The work was fine. The garage rack was hung upside down but that was an understandable mistake as there were hooks on both sides...I was able to rehang later. My only complaint was that it took two weeks to get an appointment scheduled. I was told the appointment would be in the morning and at 11:00am I had to email and ask if he was still keeping the appointment. I only took a half day off work to get this work done. I had to call my boss at the last minute to get the rest of the day off. All communication was done via email. A text message or phone call confirming the appointment and also informing me that he was delayed is not just a courtesy but a necessity if you're a working person. For that reason alone, I will not work with this company again.

They came with two people so they only stayed for 1.5 hours instead of 3 hours. The problem is both of them worked on the same thing so I would have preferred 1 handyman for 3 hours. They were very hard to schedule. They also canceled the night before 1 of our scheduled dates because of an unexpected funeral.... Communication was sporadic and only through email. I requested a call but it never happened. Not a good deal.

Overall it well well. While 3 hours of service was paid for, it unfortunately took him over 2 hours to replace the light fixture. So, there was just enough time to pull out old modular sink and then I had to do the rest of the install. The quality of the work was great and the gentleman that did the work was very professional.

In the end , when all the work was done the quality of work was decent. However, it required coming back a second time to tighten the toilet seat, fix some of the fan blades that were put on backwards, and complete the bathtub drain that he did not bring the correct tool to fix. He refused to come back without an extra payment and it took 6 weeks for him to come back.

Kris arrived on time for appointments. He did not complete anything the first day (April 18). He did measure the inside frame of the door and went to the store with me to purchase it which took 1 hour. When we returned, he worked on the door for about 45 minutes and the remaining 15 minutes was spent marking 6 studs for the brackets. I asked if the door was going to fit , and he said yes. He did not have the right tools to finish it. We made another appointment for May 2. After working 2 hours, He did not complete the door. I ask again if he could do it and he said yes. I looked at the work later and it was NOT GOOD! The door was unevenly shaved down on the door knob side from top to bottom to make it fit the width of the frame. The hinges were attached incorrectly, and it still did not fit. I called him and told him that I was not pleased and I wanted a full refund. He did not agree because he had worked 2 hours the first day. After much deliberation, I called and told him to just reimburse me for the door and we would call it even. He said that was okay. We had previously made an appointment for May 9 to finish the work, but we decided to settle on that day. He called to say he would be late and I said that was okay. He never showed. A few days later, I received an email from Northside Property Mgmt. apologizing for the mishap, and that a check for the cost of the door would be forthcoming in the mail. It is June 2, and I have not received a check yet. Kris was very courteous and tried to accommodate me, but I think he didn't know how to tackle the door and his best efforts failed.

Cat door was put in fine. The fence pole was not put in properly, it fell over when kc had that windy storm. It also took down four more sections of fence. Also he left a mess. There was snow on the ground and I did not see it until later.

First, the employee didn't show up, and didn't contact me until after the time we agreed upon. I bought parts after I got a paycheck, then we couldn't work out a day to perform the work. Finally it was going to be two and 1/2 weeks before a 4oclock time after I got off work, which was too long for me to continue to wash dishes on my knees in the bathtub. He couldn't work Saturdays, and wouldn't work until 10am on Sundays, and I leave for work at 10:30 on Sundays (I have a small business as well). I asked for a refund, but have heard nothing since. I told him I could find someone else that could do the work on a Saturday when I'm home. Still heard nothing. I want a refund.

He canceled at the last second the first day he was supposed to be there, because he had an "emergency", but then said he got it covered and said he would be there at 3pm (original scheduled time 1:30pm). Then ended up not showing up until 5pm, but didn't let me know he was going to be late until I sent him a text message well after 4pm asking what time he was planning on showing up. He showed up and used my supplies instead of his (deal specifies supplies would be provided by the person performing the service), because he said he couldn't find "my colors". However, I had sent him pictures of all of the caulk and grout use the week prior to that so he would be able to find the correct product to use (I sent actual pictures of the tubes I had here). Then he used the wrong color in my kitchen, so now it sticks out horribly, and it's right near the kitchen sink where I spend most of my time. On top of that, he told me he needed to take out some of the grout that was in the master shower, because he said since it had spots in it where it could've leaked, the best thing to do would be to take everything out that was coming apart and let it sit for a day or two to make sure everything was dry. He said he would come back and finish it later that week. After he left (he was only there 1 1/2 hours, and deal states 2 hours of work), he sent me a text message letting me know he couldn't come later that week and wouldn't be able to come until the end of the following week. However, until he came back, I couldn't use the shower in my bathroom. In addition to that, he said that fixing what he took it would cost me extra money, as two trips were not accounted for in the original deal, and therefore, he would have to charge me for his time to come out again. I told him that was not fair, as he NEVER mentioned anything about additional charges when he was here, and also failed to recognize he was only here for 1.5 hours, instead of the 2 promised in the deal. I also reminded him the deal said he would provide the supplies, and he didn't. He has not come back to finish the job still. I have not been able to use my shower for almost two weeks now. I do not think he was professional at all, and feel like I was taken advantage of, and now have an ugly kitchen counter and a shower I can't use.
