Oven or Stovetop Repair or Service
Came in, looked at the stove. Said we can do it. It will be next week, we have to order the glass. Left with my 145. He never called me the next day. I called him and he said there is no parts an available. Said the 145 was a diagnosis fee. I told him I told you the glass was broke. He hung up

"The customer called us and asked us to come look at an oven that had a broken glass top. We explained to the customer we would be happy to help, and would need to make sure that none of her burners were damaged when the glass was broke. The customer agreed to our service call and diagnosis fee which is $145. We came out and determined that all the burners were still in good shape and just the glass top would need to be replaced. We took a picture of the model number added it to her work order and it was submitted to our office manager who does all of our parts ordering. In the research of looking up her part, it was determined that her glass top is been discontinued it is no longer available. We even gave the customer the manufacturer's phone number to confirm that it is indeed discontinued. When we did that customer was upset and angry and demanded her $145 back. We explained to her that that was our diagnosis and service call fee for coming out and researching her cooktop to make sure everything else was still good before ordering a part. We do not believe that we owe her the $145 back"

Very young employee came out and took pictures of appliances, did not diagnose issues, and said he submitted pictures to our warranty company. Now North Star does not answer calls for the warranty company or myself. They don?t even have a voicemail. I guess they went out of business!

They were wonderful to work with. I needed someone to install our column fridge and freezer last minute and Rodney squeezed me in to accommodate our schedule. The technician was very professional and did a great job. Will definitely use them again in the future!

They came out and after a service fee said it was the pump. After paying over $300 including service fees Washer still not working. They then said it must be something else. The second estimate was about $500 for a mother board. If they had told us initially that the board was bad we would have bought another washer and saved the cost of the ew pump.

I will definitely be hiring Rodney from North Star Appliance Repair if I ever need repairs again. He was very professional from the start, showed up on time, and figured out the issue in less than an hour. Fortunately it was an easy fix for him and no parts were required. Overall, I am very satisfied with his work and his knowledge. 10/10 would hire again.

Give him 10 stars came in very professional. I asked him to release my element. That’s what I thought it was. I guess it was a fuse after he diagnosed it. I asked him to look at the washer. Also did fantastic job on time and friendly.

I would trust Ron with any appliance, he could of taken me for my money to repair the washer, but instead he told me it wasn't worth fixing, and in 6 months I might have another problem with this washer. So as I went looking for another one, he he helped by allowing me to text him different machines to which one would be the best. Thank you.

My dryer wouldn't stop spinning while the door was open and I couldn't get it to shut off at all. I called Northstar Appliance Repair and they made it out within the hour I made the call and got me back up and doing laundry. Very satisfied and would definitely recommend to anyone needing there appliances serviced.
