Great work

Joaquin and his team are top notch. He managed a difficult driveway and installed a drainage system that few could handle. He also repaved our walkway to divert water away from the house which looks amazing. Finish work is second to none. Price was reasonable and worth every penny. Scheduling was great and he was on site supervising as well as completing every step. Highly recommend you hire Northwest Construction if you have paving needs. You won’t be disappointed.

After we had some non-structural concrete removed by a concrete cutting company, we found the original builders of our 1910 house had neglected to complete the wall in our basement garage! Joaquin was the first to respond to our call for help, and we scheduled a visit to assess the situation. It was clear right away that he understood concrete as he outlined the repair (including structural rebar) and provided a quote. The work was done quickly and the jobsite was left clean.

We had a job made up of three smaller projects. Quin was asked to come to give us a quote and he presented himself very professionally. He took the time to understand the requirements and the problems the job had. After the visit, he promptly provided a quote. When awarded the job, he promptly scheduled a time for us to meet and finalize the details. He gave us an estimate schedule and began the work as planned. He kept us informed at the crucial part of the project and when cement was poured, he took the time to send us pictures of the work. After the work was completed, he promptly cleaned up the site. We highly recommend Northwest Construction.

Joaquin at NW Construction was the first to respond to my bid. He called immediately to schedule a consultation and was available immediately. After speaking with four other contractors, I decided to hire Joaquin—even though his bid was not the lowest—because he took the time to visit the job site, ask good questions, and explain my options and his process. By the end of our first meeting, he provided me a formal, written estimate that included a rough drawing of the project as well as an itemized breakdown of the work his team would perform. The job was scheduled for two weeks later and work was completed over six days. All communication was done via text. While he and his team completed the project within the promised timeline, there were a couple of "break" days where nothing happened and it was unclear exactly what to expect day by day. This didn't bother me and Joaquin always answered questions if I had them, but if you're someone who likes proactive communication about who, what, and when for every step of the project, you'll want to establish that with him. Overall, I am very happy with NW Construction and their work. In such a competitive market, some contractors make you feel like they are doing you a favor by working on anything less than a five-figure job. Joaquin was eager, collaborative, and always respectful. And the end result was beautiful. I would definitely hire again.

Northwest Construction did an excellent job on my project. We had them pour a new patio with four stairs. It’s part of a landscaping project we’re working on. When we finally connected with Joaquin, the work took place when promised and the communication was good. With everybody so busy these days it was hard to even find a contractor to do this type of work. A friend recommended Northwest and we are glad we found them.

The project went very well; Prepared the site for concrete pouring according his high standards; As far as I am concern he went above & beyond his obligation.
