Tom from Nu Line Home Improvement is the most professional contractor I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He is in constant communication, which is not something I have found very common in the people I have worked with in the past. He is meticulous and a bit of a perfectionist. He will keep working on something over and over until there isn’t the slightest imperfection. Previous contractors have done drywall for us and the tape has become visible as well as screw heads and other imperfections but I can honestly say that the walls that he has put up and has painted are absolutely perfect and they have held up over time as well. I can’t recommend Tom highly enough.

We had a very difficult to find leak which caused water damage to our garage. Tom found and replaced our rotten garage header and replaced flashing, siding and sealed. The leak was persistent and extremely hard to trace. Tom returned repeatedly until the problem was solved and only charged us for materials: no charge for the additional hours of labor. Tom stands behind his work and is extremely knowledgable. Highly recommend.

We recently had central air installed and needed to get rid of the former through the wall air conditioning units. When we first contacted Tom, he said he was booked through October, but he would come out and give us a quote. We made the appointment for the quote and he came as promised, looked at the work to be done and said he'd be able to do everything from AC removal to patching and final paint. He worked up a quote and e-mailed it to us within 24 hours. As we were not expecting the work to be done until mid-October, it was a pleasant surprise to hear from him in late September asking if it was a good time to start the job. He was very prompt and showed up when he said he would. He was also very meticulous about his work, cleaning up the work areas each day and hauled away the old AC units for us. The work was completed over the course of a week as he applied several layers of spackle which needed to dry fully before further application or paint. The walls look fantastic and you would't know that we used to have AC units as his work was seamless. We also had a small drywall repair job that we added when Tom arrived and he took care of it for us without additional charge. We plan to hire him again for future projects in our house and will recommend him to others.

The job went great. Tom was professional and courteous and finished the job in a timely manner. At the end of the day, he made sure the work space was cleaned up and tidy. He always gave us good advice about our fixtures, tiles, etc.

Tom was excellent and totally professional. He listened carefully to what we wanted and his vast experience helped us fill in the parts we were not sure about. We purchased our materials before settling on Nu-Line to do the work. Tom was very conservative in its use and as a result there was very little waste. The work site was cleaned daily surrounding floor were always covered. We are totally satisfied with Nu-lines work and look forward to having them do our kitchen in the near future.

Amazing. Thomas is a professional. We discussed the work to be done, we were given an estimate and work started as soon as the materials were in. His work is top notch, he is a great craftsman. We are extremely pleased with everything. Quality work, he cleaned up each day, communicated status and is a very nice person that we trust completely. Jack (our dog) really misses him.
