Back to Black Asphalt and Paving

I had the same experience as Beth. Got a call from Luke that his equipment broke down and could do the job on the scheduled day, but he'd be there the next day and he'd call before he did the work. He never called and never showed up. When I call, it says his voicemail is not set-up so I can't leave a message and my texts are no longer going through. He wanted full payment upfront, which I refused to do, but did pay him a $200 deposit, which we'll never get back. He would not accept a debit or credit card. I would not recommend this company as I do question their validity as this point.

Luke did a great job and was on time . Back to black.

They wanted payment in full upfront. I kept getting invoices daily from them. Against my better judgement, I did prepay. They were supposed to come on a Monday. The contractor called and said a part broke on his truck. He order the new part and it would be in the next day. Then rescheduled my job for today, Wednesday. I sat home all afternoon, as I was scheduled then. He was a no show. When I called his number, it didn't go through, I tried texting the same number. It said it was undeliverable. I finally called my charge company, got the charge reversed. I got my money back, he will get none, as no service was performed. Extremely disappointed in Back to Black Asphalt Company and would not recommend them.

I wish I?d leave a zero rating as this service was completely terrible. Poor follow-up on verbal commitments after full payment. Basically a rip off?.. Do not use this service.

They were GREAT! On time, thorough, fast, friendly and very professional. I will definitely have them do my driveway again!

Luke was very prompt in getting back to me and scheduled things around what I needed. The work looks very nice and it looks like will hold up for a while. I would recommend him.

This was a great Company to work with. Luke & I talked about the tasks that I wanted to accomplish. He told me how he would be careful with the landscaping and the porch as to not get any sealer on it. I would not hesitate to recommend to others in the neighborhood. Luke did what he said he would do.
